They went inside, and a creepy old man appeared out of no where when the door slammed shut.

[Just letting you guys know that Team Flare's "attack" with the ultimate weapon and everything is gonna happen after the Laverre Gym has been defeated and a Showcase/Contest will be held in Laverre City. Kinda planned it for it to require all of their strength combined (including Nico) since it's powerful and also Team Flare will be guarding it, etc.]

Parisa saw the group and decided to catch up with them. She finally managed to catch up as Drake caught his Haunter.
"Phew... Con-grats there... Drake..." she panted and followed them inside.

Selena sighed. "Great."

The lights turned off, as the man laughed even more. Rain began to patter on the windows, and thunder rumbled in the air. "It was a dark and stormy night many years ago. Lost, I arrived at this house and went inside. The lights would not turn on, so I fearfully looked around the house."

Selena giggled.

"Eventually, I made my way into the kitchen. There was no sign of anyone being there... I found the fridge, and when I opened it, a faint light leaked out. I could finally make out my surroundings. And I saw the faint outline of a man huddling in the corner of the room. I tried to tell him that I was lost and I was hoping he'd let me stay until morning, but when I approached him... The man suddenly screamed, "Stay back!"

Her Pumpkaboo popped out of her Pokéball when she did so.

Riko woke up and got ready once again before charging off onto Route 15, in which she is suffering dearly from loneliness. Luckily, to her advantage, her Axew evolved into a Fraxure while Duke finally evolved into a Talonflame. Yet, she was still lonely because she sent her pokemon back into their pokeballs soon after.
