Venus nodded at Parisa's statement before getting up and walking to the Lumiose PokeCenter. She has Nurse Joy heal her pokemon and she gets herself a room.She flops onto it with a groan."There is nothing like a comfortable bed."She mumbles aloud before falling asleep.

What Fenna did not notice was that Fletchinder and Sylveon remained at the gym, finding "treasures" under the seats for the watchers.

You know the first rule in combat? Shoot them before they shoot you.

Gabite easily beats the trainers as Drake moves onto Clemont.

"You ready for this L?" Drake says to Clemont, as Clemont smiles and says no. Drake Sends out Gabite and he sends out Emolga. "Oh no.." Drake said. "Gabite! Dual Chop!" Drake said. The Emolga survives the Dual Chop and uses Aerial Ace on Gabite. Gabite is barely affected. "One more time! Dual Chop!" Drake commanded. His Gabite, successfully faints Emolga. "Nice job!" Drake said.

While Fletchinder still tries to get the gum out of the seats to chew them with it's beak, Sylveon noticd the battle and watched.

Selena was watching with Snowy, her Snover that she had switched out for Aegislash. She grinned when Gabite KO'd the Emolga, but knew that Emolga was his weakest pokemon.

Clemont sends out Magneton as Drake sends Gabite back. "Absy! Go!" Drake roared as Absy came out, glaring at the Magneton. "Swords Dance, then Night Slash!" Drake commands. Absy smiles, and begins preparing to attack Magneton. Magneton uses Electric Terrain, as the terrain changes.

Absy's Night Slash does the job, and then some. Magneton faints, as Helioptile is sent out. Absy remembers Fenna's Helioptile, and uses another Swords Dance. Clemont's Helioptile uses Thunderbolt, paralyzing Absy after her dance. "Absy! Now!" Drake roars. Helioptile uses Grass Knot on Absy. Absy fights through the attack and the paralysis and uses Night Slash, OHKOing the Helioptile. "Wooo!!" Drake said as the electric terrain disappears.

Drake has earned the Voltage Badge!
