Title: Holding onto Hope

"No Alakazam stop!" Tiger yowled and propelled himself into a tree, running past both Pidgey and Cyndaquil. He knocked Alakazam aside as the psychic Pokémon used a psycho cut. The move hit Tiger in the eye, and scratched him. He stumbled back and landed in front of Snow. He closed his right eye as blood began to drip into it. "Leave Snow alone!"

"W-who are." Snow's frightened voice came from behind Tiger, and when Cyndaquil and Pidgey landed by the boy, the boy recognized Cyndaquil. "Wait you're the kid I met a couple months ago, uh T right? Why are you helping me?"

Tiger glanced over his shoulder, and looked at Snow in concern and shock. He looked like he was going to reply when Alakazam got back up, and prepared another psycho cut. The blood from Tiger's open wound was still on the psychic type's paw. The two held their stare, neither one budging an inch. Though Tiger's heart was pounding, and his instincts told him to run, but he couldn't, the sound of the angry Pokémon seemed to be very far away now.

Alakazam sneered at Tiger as the boy stood in front of Snow. Tiger was protecting the small Team Rocket child from Alakazam's attacks, Snow looked badly beaten up compared to Tiger, and Tiger knew the psycho cut that hit him might've finished Snow once and for all. "Tiger! You do know this boy, this scourge of the forest, is taking pokemon from the forest right? He took Tally away from Kit, and he still has your Pichu!" The psychic pokemon said dryly, and Tiger flinched.

"He might be a scourge in the forest, but if you hurt him here. Then we will have bigger problems!" Tiger snapped, Cyndaquil nodded in agreement and glanced at Snow, who was shaking in fear, Pidgey was sitting on Snow's head as if he were trying to keep the younger boy safe. Snow looked up to Tiger with shock, and amazement in his frosty blue gaze. Tiger was holding his gaze with Alakazam, not giving anything away. "Lugia may have let you come back for whatever reason, and you might have killed Incineroar. As well as turned the forest against me, but that doesn't mean I'm afraid of you. I'll try my best to prove myself right, and get Rocket out of here!" Tiger snarled lowly.

Alakazam laughed darkly, and looked at Tiger with wild eyes. He noticed that Tiger was panting heavily. It was from exhaustion due to the psycho cut, and a bit of fear. Cyndaquil looked at Tiger in concern before flinching as the raindrops from the light drizzle began to grow heavier, the sky was still overcast and the clouds were building more thickly signifying the storm was close. The small fire pokemon shook himself, and stood closer to Tiger.

"Humans should never be allowed in this forest, and you may say that you're not afraid of me. Though," he said lowly and narrowed his eyes. "Are all the pokemon in this forest comfortable with you?" Alakazam snarled suddenly, and looked over his shoulder. Tiger flinched as he saw the outlines of many pokemon off in the distance, a strange pain was beginning to return in the back of Tiger's mind. Tiger growled and shook his head clear. He looked around wildly for a way to escape. He saw an opening in the trees and knew he had to get Snow out of here.

Tiger froze, he looked over to Snow. "Run." He said in a panicked tone to the younger boy. He forcefully pulled Snow to his feet, and pushed the boy in the direction of the trees, where the Team Rocket members were camping. Snow blinked and disappeared into the trees, and Tiger watched he didn't relax until Snow was completely gone. Tiger took a few steps back, Cyndaquil was now on his head. and Pidgey was sitting on his shoulder.

"Tiger I don't like the sound of this." Pidgey whispered, and Cyndaquil shivered in fear. Tiger nodded slowly and looked like he was about to respond when Alakazam smirked, and looked at Tiger with a victorious grin.

"You may not be afraid of me, but I know you are afraid of fighting Lugia, as well as everyone else." Alakazam snarled lowly, and Tiger flinched.

"We might want to take our own advice, and run." Cyndaquil squeaked in fear, and nodded. Pidgey squawked in fear as he spotted a group of pokemon running towards Tiger and Cyndaquil. Kit, Lee, and Sage were in the front of the group. Lugia was at the back, and they all looked upset and betrayed. Tiger stood there bewildered and afraid. He wasn't sure what Cyndaquil said at first until he heard a loud yell from his friend. "RUN!" Cyndaquil repeated as the rain picked up.

Tiger blinked, he flinched as Cyndaquil's yelling seemed to hurt his head. "What's going on with me?" He whispered in fear and confusion, he noticed that Alakazam was looking at him with a triumphant look.

Alakazam laughed, "Lugia gave you your ability to understand us, he's slowly taking it away since you betray us." He said lowly.

"But I didn't betray anyone!" Tiger retorted, he soon flinched as the voices of the group of angry pokemon could be heard. "I didn't do it!" Tiger yelled out pitifully. He soon saw Lugia, the legend's gaze was cold, his expression sent fear through Tiger's body. Tiger took a step back sheepishly, and shivered slightly. This isn't my fault! It's all Alakazam, and Gengar's doing. If only I saved Incineroar before- He couldn't finish the thought, instead he was frozen in place. His mind told him to run, but his legs wouldn't budge. Soon, Lugia managed to catch up to him.

"Traitor!" Lugia yowled, "I took you in, raised you as one of us, even allowed you to communicate with us, and you paid me back by showing Team Rocket where we are! You are responsible for those pokemon being kidnapped." He snarled Tiger was about to respond and defend himself when Gengar shot off a shadow ball hitting Tiger in the chest, and knocking him over. Tiger gasped for air as the blow had made him breathless. He struggled to his feet, and clutched his chest where he had been hit.

Pidgey squeaked in shock, and pulled Tiger up by the collar of his shirt, and hauling him back to his feet, Cyndaquil had climbed back to Tiger's shoulder to try and encourage him. "Stop laying there, and run, Tiger! I'll try and hold them off." Pidgey said quickly, and pushed Tiger in the direction of the river. Tiger looked at Cyndaquil, he regained his breath, and blinked before placing the starter on the ground and finally managing to regain his breath and recover from the shadow ball enough to run.

Cyndaquil squeaked in shock as he was left behind, he watched in bewilderment as Tiger grew further ahead. The rain was screening his vision as his friend was drawing further and further away. Cyndaquil yelped as some lightning shot up behind him, and he jumped. He sighed and ran after Tiger quickly. "Tiger wait!" Cyndaquil yelled, and tried to catch up. Mud plastered his fur as he tried to catch up to his friend.

"No, Cyndaquil! You need to stay here. I'm a traitor!" Tiger yelled as he could barely make out what Cyndaquil was saying. Cyndaquil growled, and shook his head as he ran faster. Lugia, and the other pokemon's voices were behind them still, but Pidgey was managing to confuse them with a sand attack, and whirlwind combo kicking up dust. It wouldn't hold long as the storm began to pick up, and Tiger knew once it wore off, the angry mob of pokemon would catch up to him. "Cyndaquil go away!" Tiger snapped.

"No! You're my brother, my best friend! I'm not going to leave you behind!" Cyndaquil snapped, and ran faster. He was trying to catch up to Tiger. "What about our promise! We still have a journey ahead of us!" Cyndaquil said sadly, and used a swift which caused Tiger to stop dead cold in his tracks.

Tiger looked over his shoulder, and sighed. His gaze fixed on Cyndaquil, grateful for the rain that was now soaking his face, he was crying, and he didn't want his friend to know this. "Cyndaquil. I-" he trailed off, and Cyndaquil climbed onto Tiger's head.

"You're not getting rid of me easily! We need to get through this! We need to prove to Lugia, and the others, that you are innocent!" Cyndaquil said in a determined tone. "Tiger, we can't just give up. We won't give up!" He said quietly.

Tiger blinked, and sighed. He looked over his shoulder back to the cave and the way they came, he heard the angry pokemon clearly now. They were drawing closer, Pidgey was flying back to Tiger. "Why are you still here, I tried to buy you time, and all that sand attack turned into was mud. We need to keep running!" Pidgey snapped quickly.

"We can't just keep running forever though." Tiger whispered quietly, and looked around. He saw a cliff coming up, it looked familiar, and had a waterfall running just over it. Tiger soon got an insane idea. "Pidgey fly ahead, and don't stop until you hear me, we're going to figure this out." Tiger said quietly to Cyndaquil's relief. Tiger then glanced at Cyndaquil as the flying pokemon flew ahead towards the cliff. "Cyndaquil, I need you to use a flamethrower when they get closer." He whispered, and turned around. He held his breath, and narrowed his eyes against the storm. A flash of lightning shot up from nearby, Tiger jumped in shock, and shook his head. "Win or Lose. I will prove them wrong, I will clear my name." He whispered quietly. Cyndquil jumped off Tiger's shoulder. The two prepared to fight.

The first pokemon to appear were Kit and Sage. Tiger jumped to the side as both a flamethrower and a bullet seed nearly hit him. Cyndaquil growled and used a flamethrower on the ground making a line in the ground and making the two jump back. "Where's my daughter you thief!" Kit demanded her voice sounded distant, and angry. The voice came off strange as if Tiger could barely make it out.

"I didn't hurt or steal Tally!" Tiger snapped, and took a few steps backwards he prepared to run once more. Sage snarled and jumped over the fire line. He angrily knocked Tiger over, and used a leaf blade hitting Tiger in the wrists as Tiger tried to defend himself. "I-I didn't take her!" He snapped pitifully. Cyndaquil squeaked in shock as he saw Sage pinning Tiger down. He growled protectively and ran over to Tiger. He used a light flamethrower startling Sage and distracting him for a moment. The fire mouse then pulled Tiger back to his feet.

"We need to run." Cyndaquil said quietly and looked in the direction of the cliff. Tiger sighed and nodded, "there's no way we can calm them down, but maybe we can escape their anger, and free the caught pokemon? We know the forest as well as any pokemon here." Cyndaquil suggested gently.

Tiger nodded and sighed, he cast a longing glance to his friends, and wiped the blood out of his right eye. He continued towards the cliff with the pokemon following behind him quickly. I think I saw a vine leading to a tunnel system that's hidden by the waterfall. He thought quickly as he tried to remember the day he and Cyndaquil had fallen over the waterfall. The feeling of nearly drowning, and being thrown off the side of the cliff still haunted him.

Cyndaquil nodded and the two ran off towards the cliff edge, the river was now running next to them. Tiger could hear the crash of the waterfall that had taken both Cyndaquil and him over the edge when they fell into the river a few months back. Tiger saw Pidgey flying ahead. "Pidgey! Dive down!" Tiger yelled. Pidgey nodded, and flew downwards.

"What's the plan, bro?" Cyndaquil asked quickly, and used a flamethrower to deflect a swift that came from one of the weaker pokemon that lived in the other caverns to the cave. Cyndaquil was on Tiger's shoulder as the two of them darted past trees and bushes.

Tiger was panting as he grew closer to the cliff. "Tiger? What's the plan?" Cyndaquil called out in concern as the pokemon saw the cliff coming up. Tiger still didn't respond. He just ran as quickly as he could. His feet splashed the puddles that were forming in the ground as he ran. A bolt of lightning shot up from somewhere nearby and lit up the area. "Tiger! We're going to go over the cliff!" Cyndaquil yowled and shied back as Tiger neared the edge.

"Hold on tight!" Tiger warned, and he protectively grabbed onto Cyndaquil. Tiger held the small starter tight in his right arm, he had braced himself and jumped over the side. As the two fell over the edge, Tiger heard angry cries of the pokemon turn into shocked and afraid. A few pokemon called out Tiger and Cyndaquil's names fearfully, Tiger froze. He knew exactly what the others thought. The others had been tricked into thinking that Tiger and Cyndaquil had jumped to their deaths.

~*~*~

Tiger growled, and reached out for the vine. He barely caught it as he fell over the edge the water from the waterfall had already soaked him, and he was panting as he fought to climb up the waterfall, and make it into the tunnel system that he had found. Cyndaquil was crouched in fear as Tiger climbed up. The water soon became more of an obstacle as Tiger slipped, and grew heavier, but soon, he managed to pull through and fall face first into the tunnel.

"Cyndaquil, are you alright?" Tiger panted in shock as he sat up. Cyndaquil was shivering in fear and mud plastered. He looked at Tiger in the same shock and bewilderment and nodded. Tiger sighed in relief and looked around. Pidgey soon landed on his shoulder and nodded a greeting. "Wonder if we can use these tunnels to get back to the base Rocket is staying in." He whispered.

Cyndaquil glanced at Tiger and shrugged. "Cynda-quil? Cyn?" Cyndaquil said which made Tiger's face pale. His stomach flipped.

"Cyndaquil what did you say?" Tiger asked sheepishly. Cyndaquil gave Tiger a confused look before shrugging.

"Cynda-quil? Cyn?" Cyndaquil repeated, and Tiger groaned.

"No. I can't, I think that's what you said? Cyndaquil, I lost the ability. I-I don't know what you're saying." Tiger said pitifully, and felt hopeless. He had been relying on being able to understand his friends for so long that it became a sort of second nature to him.

Pidgey and Cyndaquil both gave off a shocked gasp, and Tiger sighed. "Doesn't matter, Cyndaquil can you write?" Tiger asked Cyndaquil quickly.

"Cyn?" Cyndaquil replied in confusion and tipped his head to the side. Tiger sighed and grabbed a stick. He began to write in the dirt.

"That can you do that?" Tiger asked hoping that Cyndaquil would be able to. His friend just shook his head, and Tiger sighed in defeat.

Pidgey nudged Tiger affectionately and smiled reassuringly. Tiger blinked in confusion and looked from Pidgey to Cyndaquil and back. "Pi-Pidgey pi!" Pidgey said in a reassuring tone.

Tiger blinked, "are you trying to tell me that even if I can't understand you two, we can still fight as one to rescue the others?" Tiger asked and tried to make out what he could from the body language and tone of the bird pokemon.

Pidgey nodded in satisfaction, and Cyndaquil nudged Tiger affectionately. Tiger looked at Cyndaquil and sighed. "Alright we don't need to understand what we're saying to one another. All that matters is we fight as a team. Right?" Tiger said in a sort of reassured tone. He held his hand out. Pidgey nodded and placed his wing on Tiger's hand, Cyndaquil jumped onto Pidgey's wing. "We can do this!" Tiger cheered.

"Pi!"

"Cyn!" Cyndaquil and Pidgey cheered in agreement. Tiger smiled and looked at his friends. He nodded and ran down the tunnel with Pidgey and Cyndaquil following him quickly.

"Alright so here's the plan. Pidgey I want you to fly out of the tunnels and create a distraction. Cyndaquil and I will break the pokemon out of the cages, and we'll get them to help us fight off Rocket." Tiger said quietly. The two pokemon nodded, and Tiger lead them down through the tunnels, and straight for Rocket's base. Please, Arceus let this all work out.

Title: Storm Break

"Cyndaquil cyn cynda." Cyndaquil said quietly as Tiger and Cyndaquil crouched down at a mouth of a tunnel. The rain was pounding down now, and a loud crash of thunder from overhead signified that the storm was now overhead. Tiger glanced at Cyndaquil. He blinked and pointed towards a small bush that grew near the tunnel mouth. Tiger could barely make out the cages holding Tally and the other Pokémon from where he sat. Pidgey had flown ahead to get a better view of the situation.

The cage was sitting under the same old elm tree that Tiger had sat in when Frost saw him earlier. Now the Rocket members were sheltering from the rain. Snow was tending to the Pokémon in the cages with an annoyed look in his eyes. The rain was pouting down hard soaking the boy from head to toe. "Snow. Psst! Hey!" Tiger called out and tried to get the boy's attention. Tiger didn't want to hurt the young boy who looked like he wanted to be as far away from Rocket as Tiger did. Snow looked up and blinked before glancing at Frost and running towards Tiger.

"T? What are you doing out here!?" Snow said in shock and stopped near the bush Tiger and Cyndaquil were hiding in. He glanced over to Frost and the other grunts who paid no attention to him. "My dad is going to kill you if he catches you out here." He said quietly. His frosty blue eyes met Tiger's emerald green. Tiger sighed and looked over to the cages.

"I'm here to free my friends, I need your help. Do you think you could get the key to the cage for me?" Tiger asked quietly and glanced at Cyndaquil and Pidgey who were on guard. Snow frowned and shifted his weight uncertainly. Tiger frowned, "you can help me. Can't you?" He asked quietly.

"N-no sorry I can't. I don't wanna have my dad get upset at me." Snow whispered cautiously. Tiger frowned and sighed, he jumped and darted into the bush when Frost yelled for Snow. "S-sorry." Snow whispered quietly and ran off.

"Quil. Quil Cyndaquil Cyn-daquil." Cyndaquil grumbled in annoyance and sighed. Tiger glanced at Cyndaquil and noticed Pidgey was nodding in agreement. Tiger sighed in frustration as he wished he knew what was said. He looked up and jumped into the tree that was above him. The branches swayed in the wind with the storm. Tiger sighed and shook his head before jumping into the lowest branch. He slipped as the rain made the bark slippery and slick. "Cynda!"

"Pidge!" Pidgey and Cyndaquil both said in shock as Tiger scrabbled for a grip on the branch. The rain pounded down soaking Tiger through. Tiger shivered and balanced on the branch. He tried to not allow fear to get the best of him as he balanced along the branch. "Pidgey!" Pidgey snapped at Tiger in concern.

"I'll be fine!" Tiger called over his shoulder he was getting closer and closer to the cage now. He could see the slick gray top of the metallic box. The pokemon were huddled near the center in fear and were shivering. "Don't worry I'll get you out." Tiger whispered quietly and jumped into another branch. Snow had gone back to his father and was talking to him, the younger boy was glancing towards where Tiger had been as if he were trying to figure out where Tiger went. Is he going to give me away?

Tiger's fears came true when Snow pointed to him. "Hey! Get away from there you brat!" Frost yowled angrily and grabbed a pokeball off his belt. He called out a Blastoise and pointed at Tiger.

Tiger squeaked in fear and surprise as an ice beam was shot off nearly hitting him. The young boy managed to dodge by jumping out of the tree. "No! You have a bunch of my friends that belong to this forest!" Tiger snapped, he glanced over his shoulder.

"Pix Vulpix Vul!" Tally yowled and ran at the bars of the cage as if she were trying to break out. Cyndaquil and Pidgey flew over to Tiger and deflected another ice beam with a swift, the stars from the swift were frozen and the ice beam was interrupted. Pidgey ran into Blastoise with a quick attack knocking the air from him. The Pokémon in the cages began to cheer and join in with Tally's tackles to try and free themselves. The sounds of them hitting the steel bars were almost drowned out by the rain.

Tiger blinked and guessed what Tally was saying. "Of course I came to find you." He said quietly. Tally tipped her head to the side as if she were confused.

"Vul?" She said thoughtfully. Tiger sighed and shook his head.

"Sorry, Tally I don't know what you're saying." Tiger mumbled, and before Tally could respond, a bolt of lightning sliced through the sky lighting the clearing up for a moment in a brilliant blue light. Tiger used the light to try and take a look at his surroundings. He blinked in shock as a Raticate, belonging to one of the Team Rocket Grunts, ran at him and knocked him backwards with a quick attack. Stunned, Tiger fell to the ground and landed in the mud, he struggled to his feet and the Raticate drew closer to him. Its fangs were bared, and foam dripped from its mouth. Tiger blinked in shock and struggled to his feet, but he couldn't move. He looked confused, and soon noticed that he was shivering in fear. "Scary face." He whispered and tried to look away, but he was moving a bit slower than usual. He blinked, scary face; it's a move that slows down its opponent, or that's what Lee would tell me when talking about different types of Pokémon moves... Tiger thought thoughtfully as he went through a list of moves Raticate could learn. The Pokémon could in fact learn scary face once it evolved.

"Give up now, kid. Raticate's scary face can freeze any enemy from moving, and make you unable to battle." Frost said lowly. Tiger blinked, he could in fact still move, but his movements were slow. and lethargic. As if he had just woken up from a long nap.

"Scary face's move. I-it only slows an enemy down. It can't freeze me!" Tiger said quickly and managed to get up. The move was cancelled as Cyndaquil used a swift on the Raticate knocking it away from Tiger. Tiger shook his head clear, and held his gaze with Frost. "After all, the move you're thinking of is mean look." Tiger said dully and jumped into a tree as Frost ran at him quickly. Tiger struggled into the lowest branch and scrabbled at the slick branch. The wind picked up nearly knocking Tiger out of the branch.

"Get down from there!" Frost said lowly. Snow blinked in shock and looked from Frost to Tiger. Tiger shot the small boy a glare causing Snow to flinch. "Give it up now, and we will let you go peacefully." Frost said in a low tone. Tiger could sense that he was lying, and whatever his father had planned for him once he got out of the branch, he didn't want to find out.

"No...I think I'll stay up here, it's a nice view of the forest that you shouldn't be in." Tiger said mockingly and settled on a branch. His chest was pressed to the bark, and his arm dangled lazily off the side. He settled his chin on his left wrist as if he were just lounging there. "After all, humans really shouldn't be so far from the safety of Viridian Forest." He said in a low growl. He was partially aware of Cyndaquil and Pidgey helping the caged Pokémon escape. Cyndaquil was on his guard as Pidgey tapped at the lock. The cat like Pokémon, that Tiger had assumed was Incineroar's daughter, used a flamethrower on the lock making the metal on the inside grow hotter and hotter. Cyndaquil jumped up and used a flamethrower as the Raticate grew close enough. The small mouse Pokémon was covered in bites and scratches as he had been fighting the Raticate for a while now. Tiger knew he had to hold on.

"You say humans aren't allowed out here, and yet here you are." Frost said lowly Tiger narrowed his eyes. "You are human, and yet you're in this uncharted forest." He said menacingly. Tiger growled.

"I might be a human, but I'm here to protect this forest, and every Pokémon in it." Tiger said lowly. "After all, like Matt, I want to be a guardian to these Pokémon!" He yelled. Matt, was a trainer that Tiger had heard stories of. He was Tiger's best friend, Lion's, father who had died a few days after Tiger had been born. The trainer was a strong and noble man, who was the guardian of Johto. A trainer who would fight alongside the legendary Pokémon and keep the balance in the region they are asked to guard. However, Johto had no guardian, not since Matt died. Frost looked taken aback by what Tiger said.

"How do you know about Matt? We're far from Johto, and now..." Frost trailed off as another bolt of lighting flashed in the clearing. It lit up the area, and Tiger noticed the scar on his arm was very clearly visible; it was obviously noticeable on what move made the scar, a Ho-Oh's sacred fire. "Wait Tiger!?" Frost said in shock and growled. "You're supposed to be dead." Frost said darkly, Snow blinked in shock and looked at Frost.

"Whoops... Uh sorry I didn't get the message for being dead." Tiger said quietly and got to his feet. He looked over to Pidgey and Cyndaquil, who were managing to free the Pokémon now. "Cyndaquil! Pidgey I need he-" Tiger was cut off as the wind picked up once more, Tiger's hair blew into his eyes, and a bonemerang hit him in the chest knocking him out of the tree. Tiger gasped and fell to the ground. He struggled for breath. A Cubone walked up to him. So did a few more grunt Pokémon, an Ekans, Koffing, Meowth, and a Houndoom. Tiger blinked in shock. Houndoom, a Pokémon he secretly feared since he was five. He was lucky to have never run into the Pokémon in the forest.

"Doom Hound Houndoom doom." Houndoom barked before launching himself at Tiger with a threatening howl. Tiger tried to get up and run, but he was struggling to breathe, and was shaking in fear of the Pokémon. Just as he was about to get to his feet, Houndoom managed to pin Tiger down. "Houndoom doom hound." Houndoom said triumphantly and bared its fangs as if he was going to finish the job with a crunch.

"Houndoom, kill." Frost said lowly. Tiger looked at the Pokémon in shock and closed his eyes.

"Cynda!" Cyndaquil said in shock and ran at Tiger and Houndoom with lighting fast speed. Tiger heard Houndoom bark in shock and surprise as he was knocked off Tiger. Tiger didn't recognize the move at first, but he soon noticed it was an aerial ace. Tiger blinked in confusion, aerial ace was a move Cyndaquil couldn't learn, not naturally. He shook the thought away and struggled to his feet Cyndaquil landed beside him and snarled at Houndoom. Tally, and Pidgey went over to Tiger and stood by him as they waited for their next order.

"We need to get Rocket out of here!" Tiger yelled to his friends over the storm. Houndoom was running back, and before it could attack, a Machop used a submission knocking Houndoom back, but the Pokémon flinched as recoil took effect. Tiger looked at the Machop and blinked.

"Chop! Machop!" Machop called out in victory and ran over to the group of Pokémon that had previously been in the cage. They stood behind Tiger, ready and willing to attack.

Tiger blinked in confusion and looked at the Pokémon, he was about to say something when Cyndaquil used a flamethrower knocking an Ekans backwards. "Cyndaquil Cynda Cyn!" Cyndaquil said to Tiger reassuringly.

"Pidgey pidge."

"Vul Vulpix!" Pidgey and Tally added onto what Cyndaquil said. Tiger blinked and looked back at the Pokémon behind him. The wild Pokémon nodded as if they were saying that they'd follow Tiger's lead. Tiger smiled and nodded before rubbing the scar on his shoulder. He looked a bit more confident.

"Let's get Rocket out of here!" Tiger cheered and jumped into a tree. Frost and the grunts looked around in confusion, while Snow escaped the scene very quickly. Tiger guessed it was because the younger boy was terrified of the fight that might break. "Tally, Cyndaquil, umm..." Tiger trailed off and looked at the cat like Pokémon. He guessed it was a fire type due to the flamethrower it used earlier.

The cat Pokémon's expression lit up and she smiled gleefully. "Litten!" She said in amusement.

Tiger smiled and nodded, "and, Litten. I want you three to use flamethrower, scare them out of here. Pidgey. You and your parents use sand attack. It might turn to mud, but that's what we want." Tiger ordered quickly and ran through the trees. Cyndaquil, Tally, and Litten used flamethrower kicking up smoke and causing a few grunts to cough. Tiger narrowed his eyes, and covered his face as he ran through the trees. The rain was putting their flames out as quickly as they start up. Pidgey and his parents began to use sand attack, covering the grunts and Frost in mud and sand. "Now! Machop, Abra!" Tiger called out to the Machop and Abra, he assumed Abra was Alakazam's son, but since the Pokémon was as willing as Tally and Machop to help him out, then he could count on the Pokémon to help his fight.

Abra nodded and used a psychic, it picked a few apples and berries off the trees and the foods flew at the grunts hitting them in the process of the grunts fleeing. The grunt's Pokémon were yelling in shock. "Retreat!" A grunt yelled and ran in the direction of the border. The Pokémon of the forest followed the grunts that were escaping, but Tiger looked around. He couldn't find Frost.

"Tally, Cyndaquil, Pidgey!" Tiger called out. He ran off in the opposite direction, which Tiger hadn't realized at first, but was the direction of the cave. The three Pokémon followed after Tiger quickly while the previously caged Pokémon ran after the grunts.

"Cynda-quil Cyndaquil." Cyndaquil said quietly as he followed Tiger.

Tiger glanced at Cyndaquil and sighed. "There's a chance Frost went th-" Tiger was cut off. He looked up and froze, his blood ran cold as he saw Frost, but the grunt had called Ho-Oh out. The golden legend screeched and raised its head to the sky.

"Tiger, get out here quietly and hand Lugia over, and I'll let you and this forest survive." Frost said lowly. "Be a good child and listen to your father." He sneered lowly as the rocket grunt called for Tiger.

"Arceus." Tiger whispered and looked at Cyndaquil and Pidgey. He sighed, and shook his head clear. "Let's do this, one last fight for the forest!" Tiger yelled to the rain. Cyndaquil, Tally, and Pidgey all cheered in response.

~*~*~*~

Tiger climbed up the side of the rock face to the cliff, he wasn't that experienced and he slipped a few times as the rain made his hands slip as he lost his grip, he gasped and shook his head clear. Relaxing slightly, he made his way up to Frost. His father was standing on the top of the cave, and was still yelling to try and draw Tiger out of hiding. Cyndaquil growled as he saw the Pokémon of the forest run out of the cave. "Cyndaquil relax." Tiger said quietly. Tally nodded and crouched on Tiger's head while Pidgey flew up the cliff side beside them. "They were just scared...we can get Ho-Oh, and Rocket out of here, and we'll be able to clear my name." He said quietly.

Cyndaquil nodded reluctantly and sighed. Tiger nudged Cyndaquil affectionately before hauling himself over the edge of the cliff. He was behind Frost and Ho-Oh, neither of them took notice in Tiger and his friends as he stood behind Frost. "Alright." Tiger whispered quietly. "Here's the plan, Cyndaquil. You will run over and attack Frost with a swift. Confuse him so we can try and free Ho-Oh, Pidgey take Tally up and fight Ho-Oh, I'm going to try and keep Ho-Oh distracted." Tiger whispered nervously as he inched closer to Ho-Oh. Pidgey and Tally went off to fight Ho-Oh. Tally was in Pidgey's talons as the small bird pokemon flew off. Cyndaquil looked at Tiger nervously and sighed.

"Quil. Cyndaquil." Cyndaquil said nervously and looked like he was willing Tiger to just leave, and not see this mission through.

Tiger returned the look, he sighed. "I have to do this..." He whispered quietly to Cyndaquil. "If I don't then who will protect not only this forest, but Johto and Kanto from Frost's wrath." He said quietly. Cyndaquil nodded as if in understanding. He jumped into Tiger's arms and hugged his friend. Tiger blinked in surprise and returned the hug. He closed his eyes and sighed. "Truth is I'm afraid." He admitted quietly. "But no matter the outcome, Lugia and the forest will be safe." He whispered gently. Cyndaquil nodded and sighed.

"Cyndaquil Cyn Cynda." Cyndaquil whispered in concern and jumped out of Tiger's arms, he went over to Frost to get the plan started. Cyndaquil ran at Frost with a swift making the grunt squeak in shock.

"It's that fire rat." Frost snarled. "Where's your owner, you little pest!" Frost snarled and went to grab Cyndaquil. The Pokémon blinked and jumped up landing on Frost's head. "Hey get off me!" Frost snapped and struggled to grab Cyndaquil. Cyndaquil blinked and laughed as he ran along Frost and used swift and flamethrower on Frost's arms and wrists as he ran along the grunt. He was too fast for Frost to catch.

Pidgey and Tally began to attack Ho-Oh, and the legend screeched. "Oh! Ho-Oh Ho!" Ho-Oh yelled and was about to use a sacred fire when Tiger threw a rock at the legend. "Ho-Oh?" The legend froze and looked at Tiger with narrowed eyes. "Oh Ho-Oh Ho!" He snarled.

Tiger blinked and took a step back he held his gaze with Ho-Oh and sighed. "I'm still alive. Aren't you going to finish the job?" He said lowly, and jumped back when Ho-Oh used extrasensory. The move nearly hit Tiger, and a branch Tiger had been standing near snapped off due to the effect of the move. Tiger closed his eyes in fear and sighed. "Come on relax, this isn't the end. I just need to distract Ho-Oh long enough for Pidgey and Tally to-" He was cut off when another extrasensory hit him knocking him backwards. Tiger crashed into a rock. "Ouch." He snarled lowly.

"Ho? Ho-Oh Ho?" Ho-Oh asked menacingly. Tiger blinked, he was glad he lost his ability to speak Pokémon now as the tone Ho-Oh spoke in would've been terrifying to him. Tiger shook his head clear and got back up. He jumped into a tree which confused Ho-Oh. "Ho-Oh!"

"You want me so bad, Ho-Oh you're going to have to fight me!" Tiger snapped angrily. "I've done nothing but keep Lugia safe from that sacred fire, I freed the Pokémon of this forest, I have to clear my name!" He snapped. "And the best way to do so. Is to defeat you!" Tiger yelled and threw an apple at Ho-Oh just as Pidgey managed to damage Ho-Oh with a quick attack taking a small amount of health from the legend. "You think you can just come here and destroy your home, your friends!? Well..." Tiger broke off to laugh darkly. He held his gaze with the golden legend. "You're mistaking." He snarled, and ran along the branches.

"Ho-Oh." Ho-Oh growled and used a sacred fire, the move hit the tree, and Tiger went to jump out of the tree but he was blocked off by the flames. He blinked in fear.

"Well...that's great." Tiger growled and coughed, the rain was beginning to slow and speed up as if something was trying to manipulate it. Tiger blinked confused, he then remembered. Lugia can cause storms, while Ho-Oh could calm storms. "Not now." Tiger groaned and saw his opportunity to jump as the flames cleared away a path for him to escape the tree he was in. He jumped, but in the process of jumping, he accidently landed on Ho-Oh's beak and blinked in shock. Ho-Oh snarled and looked at Tiger angrily. Tiger slid and landed on the lower part of the legend's beak. "Umm..." Tiger squeaked in fear and struggled to dodge a flamethrower from Ho-Oh. He was burnt.

"Pidgey!" Pidgey yelled in shock and flew at Tiger, who had been hurt. He was trying to get closer to the Pokémon. Tally squeaked in shock and used a secret power, the move made contact with Ho-Oh, and the legend's attack fell slightly. Tiger blinked and held onto Ho-Oh as much as he could while the Pokémon trashed and tried to throw Tiger off. Pidgey and Tally both yowled, and Tally used another secret power while Pidgey used a quick attack. Their efforts were in vain though, as Ho-Oh managed to throw Tiger off of him. As the boy fell, Ho-Oh used one more flamethrower hitting Tiger head on and injuring him. Pidgey blinked in shock and flew at Tiger, just as he flew. The Pokémon began to glow, Pidgey was evolving.

Tiger fell towards the ground, he landed on Pidgeotto's back with a grunt and struggled to get up. Ho-Oh was still attacking them with sacred fire after sacred fire. Tiger looked at the ground and saw Cyndaquil was pinned to the ground by Frost. They were losing this fight. "We can't do thi-" Tiger was about to cry out in defeat when, from just above the clouds, an aeroblast was shot off. The move hit Ho-Oh in the side, and the golden legend cried out in shock. Tiger panted and tried to focus, but he couldn't.

"Lugia!" Lugia called out in anger at Ho-Oh. The anger faded away and turned into shock and concern when he saw Tiger, Cyndaquil, Tally, and Pidgeotto. "L-Lugia!" He said in a quiet tone.

Tiger grunted and struggled to sit up, but he couldn't. "L-Lugia take care of Ho-Oh. We c-couldn't free Ho-Oh. We're sorry." Tiger grunted out, and collapsed. Pidgeotto looked at Tally, and the three went to help Cyndaquil. Lugia nodded in a sympathetic manner, and the two legends fought while Tally and Pidgeotto went to save Cyndaquil. Tiger sighed and closed his eyes. The last thing he saw, was Ho-Oh being recalled by Frost, and Frost fleeing the forest with Tally chasing after him. Tiger had been defeated, but the forest was safe once more.

Lugia landed beside Pidgeotto. "This is your fault!" A faint voice snapped at the legend, but Tiger was too exhausted to make it out. All he could recognize was the speech pattern that Pidgey had used. Perhaps, his ability to speak Pokémon hadn't left him completely.

Title: Leaving the Forest Behind

A gentle breeze blew into the main cavern of the cave. Moist air with the hints of moss and grass filled the musty and dark cave, there was a chill to the breeze signifying the autumn air. Tally, Pidgeotto, and Cyndaquil were sitting near the cavern entrance looking quiet and concerned. "Think he'll be okay?" Tally whispered in concern and shuffled her paws making the moss shift in the process. A bit of moss was thrown into the air by Tally's nervous shuffling. Pidgeotto sighed and shook it off his wing as he glanced at the cave mouth. Inside, Tiger could barely be seen. It had been two days since the battle against Rocket, and Tiger still hadn't woken up. The young boy had a few severe burns on his arms and legs where Ho-Oh's flamethrower had hit him. Other than that the worst that Tiger had was a few deep cuts and a small cold.

"Hard to say?" Pidgeotto said with a sigh and shook his head. "After all he-" Pidgeotto was cut off by Cyndaquil's annoyed and concerned sigh. The young fire type hadn't left the cave since Pidgeotto and Tally brought Tiger back to the cave after the fight with Rocket. Cyndaquil looked concerned and had rarely eaten or slept since getting back to the cave. "Cyndaquil, he'll survive. Don't worry." Pidgeotto said in a gentle and reassuring tone. He gently pat Cyndaquil on the head with his wing.

"Hard to not worry when he's been asleep for two days." Cyndaquil sighed and looked back at the entrance to the cavern Tiger, Kit, and the other Pokémon were in. "He's always recovered from fights like this quickly. What if he doesn't wake up?" Cyndaquil said quietly.

"Mom said that he was in stable condition, he most likely has been passed out for so long since he was sick. Not to mention that the ability to understand Pokémon came back to him right after that fight. His name was cleared, therefore Lugia gave it back. Problem was, was that he was already weakened and tired from the fight, and his body and mind couldn't take the shock of the ability coming back quickly." Tally said quietly. She looked over to Cyndaquil who ran into the cavern while Tally was talking. The Vulpix was going to say something about the fact that she was interrupted when she noticed that Tiger had woken up. The boy looked shocked, scared, and confused.

"Tiger, you need your rest." Kit said sternly and looked at Cyndaquil who had walked into the cavern and sat down next to Tiger. The fire Pokémon looked at Tiger who ignored the Ninetales, and grunted as he nearly fell over. Sage grabbed Tiger by his wrist and steadied the boy.

"Kit's right, you're hurt you need to re-" Sage was cut off when Tiger pulled his arm away from the Shiftry. The young boy glared at the Pokémon he once called his friends. "Tiger if you don't rest right now, I'll ask Kit to use a hypnosis on you." He threatened lowly.

"Sounds like something I should use to threaten those who won't sleep." Tiger retorted dryly and sighed. "I need to go home." He said quietly. Problem is, will mom accept me back? Will Elm and Lion be mad that I was missing for so long? I've seen four seasons pass while I was away, and for some reason. I have a feeling that I was gone for a lot longer than a couple months...I have to go home. Tiger thought to himself with a sigh and limped to the exit. Pidgeotto and Tally went over to him quickly.

"Tiger! Come back here!" Kit growled angrily, Cyndaquil returned the snarl as Tiger guessed the Pokémon was trying to use hypnosis to make him sleep. "Look at me." Kit demanded, Tiger stopped, but didn't look at Kit.

"Kit, you know as well as I do that I'm not going to look at you while you use hypnosis. I'm not welcome here, this isn't my home." Tiger snapped angrily. He could sense that Kit relaxed as if making the move stop. Tiger sighed, and looked at the ground. "The Pokémon of the forest don't like humans, it isn't safe for me to be here as I'm not a Pokémon." Tiger said quietly and sighed.

"But Tiger, you've learnt how to climb trees, you can heal using berries and herbs, you know Pokémon and their moves well. There is still more to learn here. Why don't you just stay and recover? After we can practice more, or something?" Sage asked quietly as Tiger looked at Cyndaquil.

"There isn't anything else he can learn here." Cyndaquil spoke up interrupting Tiger as he was about to say something. "Tiger needs to go home, while he may know more about what being a Pokémon is like. He doesn't belong here. We both don't. I can't evolve, I won't last a week on my own, and Tiger might need me to help him keep Team Rocket away from the forest. This forest is safer if we both leave." He said with a sigh. "Kit, we're grateful for everything that we learnt and experienced here, but in order for us to both get stronger. We both need to go." He said quietly.

"Cyndaquil is right." Tiger said quietly and grabbed the old pokeball that he had taken from Smokey when his brother had arrived in the forest. He sighed heavily as he noticed how he would in fact become a trainer in a few years. The thought of him making his own team and strengthening them up with Cyndaquil at his side made him smile slightly. Tiger then put the pokeball away. "I'm a human, Rocket is after me since they know I'm here. If they see me leave, then they'll be less likely to come here." He said gently. "After all, they need to finish the job since I know Frost has the Rainbow Wing. They'll most likely be coming after me."

Kit sighed in defeat and shook her head slightly. "...very well. Just go talk to Lugia before you leave. He wanted to see you." She said quietly.

Tiger nodded and smiled at Cyndaquil. "Come on bud, we'll go talk to Lugia and head home. If we stay on track we'll be in New Bark by nightfall." He said quietly. Once he was out of the cavern and in the main cave, he hugged Tally as if saying goodbye.

"Tiger? Are you going home?" Tally asked quietly and frowned as Tiger hugged her. "I thought you were staying here and being the forest guardian like Kit and Sage." She said quietly and wiggled out of Tiger's arms. Cyndaquil jumped onto Tiger's shoulder.

"No, Tally. I need to go home. Pidgeotto, you're more than welcome to come with me." Tiger said quietly and looked at the bird Pokémon. Pidgeotto just shook his head. Tally nodded in understanding and nudged Tiger's hand before sitting down and looking over to Pidgeotto as if curious about why he didn't take Tiger's offer.

"I'll come and bail you out when you need it, which you will. Though, being confined in a pokeball, and only coming out when you say is convenient isn't for me." Pidgeotto said respectfully. Tiger chuckled in amusement and nodded.

"Very well." Tiger said softly and smiled at Pidgeotto. "Just take care of yourself okay?" He said kindly and went towards the back of the cave. Pidgeotto nodded and smiled at Tiger, he flew out of the cave while Tally went into the cavern she and Kit stayed in. Tiger frowned as Tally left, he and Cyndaquil exchanged a glance before Tiger let out a quiet sigh and headed for the cave Lugia stayed in.

I have to leave. I don't belong here. I'm sorry Tally, but I promise. I'll come and visit even if I have to sneak out of town. I just hope I don't get caught doing this. Tiger thought sadly and sighed. Cyndaquil noticed Tiger's mood and nudged Tiger's cheek. Tiger offered Cyndaquil a weak smile. Being reassured by this, Tiger returned the smile, and headed for the cavern Lugia stayed in. It had been a bit since Tiger had gone into the cave, but he knew he had to talk to Lugia before he headed home.

"Lugia?" Tiger called out in a very quiet tone. He had been slightly afraid of the silver legend since the accusations of Rocket's arrival. He shivered as he remembered Lugia's angry screech, and the strange psychic presence that slowly took his ability to understand Pokémon away. He sighed and closed his eyes. It came back all at once. Was that why I was passed out for so long? He shook the thought away as he made his way to the pool of water at the very back of the cave. Their was no one here, Lugia was gone. "Huh? He must've gone to Whirl Islands. After all, this pool leads to the ocean." He said partially to himself.

"Don't be so sure." Cyndaquil whispered and jumped to the ground to stand in front of Tiger as the water began to ripple. Tiger blinked and let out a long and quiet sigh. Lugia's head soon emerged from the water. The silver legend yawned and shook water from his feathers, he had a few burns that were healing from the battle against Ho-Oh. Tiger couldn't remember much of the fight as most of what he had seen was a blur. Though he remembered seeing Lugia use an Aeroblast that had hit Ho-Oh in the chest. The move wasn't enough to make Ho-Oh faint, but it had been enough to stun the Pokémon, and considering the chip damage that Tally and Pidgeotto dealt the legend wasn't able to fight Lugia at the moment. So Frost and Ho-Oh had decided to retreat. Tiger shook the blurry memory away and looked at the ground when Lugia stared at him.

"Lugia I'm going home." Tiger said quickly and cautiously looked at the pokemon. Instead of an argument breaking out, or Lugia trying to convince Tiger to stay, the legend nodded.

"You know, the move Future Sight has more uses than inflicting damage." Lugia said calmly as if hinting that he had seen this coming. "Only thing, I didn't have to use it this time to see you wanted to go home. Ripple Forest is safe, you're nearly recovered from that last fight with Ho-Oh. You've passed this test."

"Test?" Tiger said in shock. "Incineroar died! Don't tell me that was part of this so called 'test'!?" Tiger said in disbelief and air quoted the word 'test'. Lugia sighed and shook his head as if in regret. He looked at Tiger and frowned.

"While Rocket appearing, and the forest turning against you was part of the test, Alakazam's intentions weren't. He is a dangerous Pokémon, Tiger. One that was trained to kill, the only time he didn't kill was when he had Psi. The Abra you rescued from Team Rocket a couple days ago." Lugia explained quietly. "I should've foreseen what he was planning." He said quietly. Tiger raised an eyebrow as if not convinced. "Though, it's difficult as it is trying to keep the balance in Johto without Ho-Oh." Lugia said mainly to himself. Tiger flinched.

"Ho-Oh will come back." Tiger said quietly and looked at Cyndaquil who relaxed only slightly. "After all, Frost can't keep Ho-Oh forever." He whispered.

"He could corrupt Ho-Oh." Lugia grumbled, but looked like he regretted saying it. Tiger blinked in confusion and for some odd reason he wasn't sure why he secretly knew what Lugia meant by 'corrupt Ho-Oh.' Tiger soon remembered a nightmare he had a while back. The colors of fire, the blue aura. Then the voice, yes it had to be Ho-Oh's . The voice was filled with sadness, hopelessness, and anger. The feelings that came from the light, the fire, were just sad and depressing. It felt like there was nothing in the world to live for, nothing to try and fight for. As if everything in the world just had to die. Was this the corrupted nature that Lugia was afraid of, and if it was. Is there a way to fix it?

"Tiger?" Cyndaquil whispered breaking Tiger out of his thoughts and memories, he was brought back to the present. There was no darkness, no colors, and no hopeless feelings he had to worry about. "Are you alright?" Cyndaquil said quietly. Tiger nodded.

"Yeah, just...remembering something. Sorry." Tiger said quietly. Lugia tipped his head to the side and narrowed his eyes. "It was a nightmare from a long time ago, nothing of importance, sorry Lugia." Tiger said quickly and looked at the ground once more. Lugia nodded hesitantly and sighed.

"Tiger, I won't force you to stay in the forest, and while you may have learnt all that we have to teach you. There is still much for you to learn." Lugia said respectfully and nodded. "You've proven yourself worthy of becoming the holder of the Silver Wing. I know you're only six, and while you are still young, I hope you can continue to learn and grow. Because, many more Pokémon and people alike need your caring nature and determination. Just remember, that recklessness does run in your family." He said quietly. Tiger looked confused. Smokey and his mom weren't reckless. They were both very cautious people with short tempers. This was the reason Tiger didn't get along with Smokey so well. Maybe he got it from Frost? No, Tiger didn't want to think he was remotely close to that traitorous grunt.

"I'll keep that in mind." Tiger said quietly and took a step towards Lugia. Lugia then closed his eyes and handed Tiger a silver feather, it was split at the tip making the feather look as if it were one half of a pair. Tiger blinked as he grabbed the item, just as he did a strange presence seemed to engulf him and his vision changed.

Tiger blinked a few times, he was standing on the top of Mount Silver looking at a stranger, this boy looked to be about nineteen, he had brown and black hair, was pretty short for his age, and had emerald eyes. The man was wearing blue jeans, black shoes,a black jacket and blue t-shirt that slightly covered a scar that could be seen from the left side of his neck. Tiger flinched, who is this? Did that scar across his neck nearly kill him when he got it? If so? I-is he someone from the past, or the future...is this someone Lugia is warning me of. Tiger tried to shake this image from his mind, but for some odd reason he was interested in the trainer as he saw Pokémon with him, a Cyndaquil, scarred from age and battles alike, was sitting on his shoulder, the elderly fire mouse had a tuft of fur on his head that seemed to spark with fire. Akin to a Quilava's mohawk. While a shiny Charizard, but with blue eyes? Strange shiny Charizard's usually have red eyes..., and a Dragonite stood behind him, a Tyranitar and Ampharos were standing just behind the trainer and an Umbreon with one blue ring on its left ear, another strange feature on the mainly normal colored Umbreon, sat next to the Tyranitar. There was a strange black Marowak just off in the distance. Tiger blinked and looked at the Pokémon, they looked exhausted, and there was something in the trainer's hand. A Johto guardian ribbon, this was the next guardian of Johto! Is he the one who will take Matt's place? He looks strong, I have to help Lugia find him! The man went to speak, but soon the vision blurred and Tiger was brought back to the cave. He blinked a few times in confusion.

"What was that!?" Tiger said in shock. Cyndaquil tipped his head to the side and looked confused while Lugia seemed to have a knowing glance. "Lugia! I-I think I just sa-"

"I know what you saw, but the question is, do you know who it is?" Lugia said quietly and smiled in amusement. Tiger just frowned.

"No, I don't." Tiger sighed and hung his head, "but I saw the guardian ribbon, the Johto one. Lugia he could be the rightful trainer to help Johto recover!" He said quietly.

"You'll learn in time, Tiger. Just go home for now." Lugia said kindly, and before Tiger could retort or complain, Lugia dived back into the pool of water and disappeared once more leaving Tiger and Cyndaquil alone.

"What happened?" Cyndaquil asked quietly. Tiger blinked, still unsure of what he'd seen he shook it off and pushed it to the back of his mind thinking maybe he was daydreaming.

"Not sure. Maybe it was a daydream." Tiger explained quietly and yawned. "Come on let's head home." Tiger said with a smile and walked out of the cave. He stopped outside the den and looked over his shoulder. For a moment, he didn't want to go. He blinked a few times and nodded before walking away from the forest he had once called his home. "Don't worry guys, I'll come and visit. For now though, Cyndaquil and I have to go home." Tiger whispered and grabbed the pokeball from his pocket. He held it up to Cyndaquil who smiled and pushed the button. Cyndaquil went into the ball, and Tiger smiled. He was on his way to becoming a Pokémon trainer. Cyndaquil is my first Pokémon, the first friend I caught. Now all I have to do is wait until I'm eleven, then I'll be a licensed trainer, I'll gain some strength to try and save Ho-Oh from Rocket's grasp. Though for now... Tiger thought with a small smile and looked at the pokeball. Cyndaquil sat inside the ball and smiled at Tiger from the red see through glass of the ball. Tiger called Cyndaquil out as he walked into Viridian Forest. For now, we're both going home.
