Title: [22/12/2016] Corner Entry #85:

- Iiiiiiiiiiii aaaaaaaaam aliiiiiiiiiiiiiive.
- I changed my avatar to Tsubakura to better fit my current obsession of Len'en!
- BRILLIANT PAGODA OR HAZE CASTLE FULL VERSION HAS BEEN RELEASED. You wouldn't know how much I jumped when I saw the announcement! Too bad the game isn't compatible with Windows XP 32-bit. My computer is able to load the first three games albeit very slow while playing, but why not this one?! i cri.
- My grades... Looks like I'm going to be stuck in Grade 8... I learned so hard, but I got too cocky and forgot my pens at home and ended with an incomplete essay because my pen ran out of ink. Geez...
- TOUHOU 15.5 ANTINOMY OF COMMON FLOWERS HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED. WOW. This is probably the best and worst December I have once in a while! I wonder who's causing this incident... It's fun to imagine :D
- Made a new Forum Game thread! I honestly feel so scared about making threads because of criticism. I don't know how would people react to it! So I'm possibly going to chicken out because DDDDDDDD:

Title: [10/4/2017] Corner Entry #86:

- Inactive yet again.-_- But I'll try to be more active!
- I've been on the Len'en Discord. Everyone there (chatty ones of course) are very humorous!
- I played Len'en 4 a lot of times. I simply adore its gameplay!
- For nostalgia reasons, I have played Pokémon Vega (rom hack), Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and Pokémon [...]: Explorers of Sky. Since I can understand lots of English now, I have no problem plowing through the game!
- Made a Lugia avatar in MS Paint because I was bored. Without a drawing tablet and/or a scanner. Personally, I think it turned out fine! Maybe I should open an art shop sometime...

Title: [2/4/2018] Corner Entry #87:

- Too busy. Too busy, along with other things made me lost interest for some time. Whyyyyyy.... It's almost time for exams season, and picking a high school. Oh dear, so busyyyyy. But at least I still have some time now.
- 24/11/2017, Magia Record had a Kazumi Magica event and I missed it for not having a phone and didn't think of borrowing phones at the time. ^^"
- 15/2/2018, I became hooked on MagiReco so much! Being a Madoka fan, I couldn't resist the urge to grab my mother's phone and play. And I just happen to register right when Tart Magica event was running and got the limited megucas Tart, Melissa and Riz! My first non-limited 4-star girl is Sayaka Miki even though I didn't hit the pity counter! :) Unfortunately, my mother's phone ran out of space and I uninstalled the game. But one day, I'll have a phone dedicated to running this game alone!
- 31/3/2018, I started to miss PH, so I came back in time for Easter and got all the eggs!

Title: Corner Entry #88:

- I'm back! ...for April Fools. I can't be active anymore because life has been pretty rough, especially after making it to high school. I will be back on special occasions like this, when my favorite events run.
- I've been thinking about it for a long while, but I feel I absolutely must write this down. I will postpone doing Shiny Mega Salamence artist hunt probably indefinitely. This hunt has gone on for too long, while I still haven't finished the Pokedex yet, coupled with being busier really had its toll on me. For now, I'll focus on finishing the Pokedex first, before finally getting back to Sala da Menci hunt. It's a more casual approach, but it will be better for me to finally finish the game.

I miss playing PokéHeroes very much...

Title: Corner Entry #89:

{Temporary!} Shiny (Mega?) Pidgeot Hunt

I started this hunt to finish the related puzzle pieces. After I got all of them, I'll stop this hunt to restart Shiny Mega Sala da Menci hunt! Gotta make a living out of them, I suppose. But I wish I can sell them for a better price, like for nuggets and such instead of dumping them to Auction for dirt cheap prices.

I'll keep track of my hunt here since I don't have premium to hunt consecutively.

Title: Account notice (& a long story)

I've wanting to get this off of my chest for a long while now, and I don't know when, where or how I would put it, but it's time to type it out before I seem to vanish forever. Because of life, as in its unpredictability, and also because of myself, I might be unable to go online on PH any longer.

In life, I've through a lot lately. Ever since I made it to high school (or whatever the equivalent is overseas), things have been a lot rougher than before. Studying is plenty more intensive and thorough, so I have to spend more time on it and I had to let go of PH for that period. My interest on PH had waned, I felt PH became somewhat tiresome and repetitive, being unable to keep up further discouraged my experience. And so, I put down my account, treating it as dead, because the previous "me", who enjoyed being here, no longer existed.

During the time I was gone, my interests also shifted with me. I was primarily into Magia Record, a Japanese mobile RPG at the time, and I even went so far as to play 2 accounts on it because both accounts have so many memories. At school, I studied a lot, but it became grating, the further into to semester, the heavier I felt; it was very stressful for me. After leaving PH, sometimes it felt like a load had been lifted off of my back, but other times like when I had nothing to do, I felt like I was missing something.

It wasn't until after the last exam of the semester, the start of summer break that I thought of going back here. I was indecisive at first, after all, a lot of things should've changed already. But it was finally summer break, the time I am able to be on for a long time, and I made up my mind at last. To my surprise, other than missing plenty of events, PH has been unchanging, everything was the same as I remembered it. And so I resumed my gameplay of PH, hoping that I could finally finish the game.

But there has always been this paranoia over my head - the fear of being too busy, too cooped up in real life will eventually lead me to leaving PH forever. This fear arose from the fact that next year, I'll get too occupied with studying for graduation exams, even in summer, then I'll have no time to rest anymore. June 30th this year is probably the last day you can see me active like this. I know that writing this in advance is a big example of this fear showing, but I can't keep bottling this up forever.

During these times, I can't help but reminisce my time on PH. I spent a lot of time on here, more than any other sites, because it's my first experience of playing online adoptable games. Completing the badge sets, hunting for 1st on site milestones, competing with other people were a lot of fun! Those were the simpler times.


I can't help but respect the people who have been on PH for so many years, remaining active and unchanging. Spending a lot of time on a website is certainly a huge achievement. But I'd like to ask them a simple "why" sometimes. Do they have anything else to do? I'm puzzled at how they managed to dedicate their life to this. I'd like to give them a round of applause for being here for so long, and to give them some comfort if they ever going to make a decision to leave the site.


And that's everything I had to say (or type out). This post went on for way too long, and it felt a bit unsatisfying to me? This post was made to be a message before I'm gone for possibly indefinitely. I won't do a giveaway of my stuff, since I can come back anytime I want to. Title: Corner Entry #90:

1 more post...! Time to list out my achievements during my summer break from May to June!

• It's so rare to see a fellow Vietnamese playing PH these days. But I did meet one in May. I'll keep them anonymous. We had some nice chat, shared some gameplay experience, and had a quite funny trade process! But it looks like they left PH quite recently. If they are reading this, thanks for the memories, my friend!

• Finally completed the 4th Badge Set! It sure took a long time to get the final badge, to the point I had to Shiny Hunt Pidgey to make it less boring. Got 4 shinies and 2 mega-ables out of it. My expectations for a Shiny Mega were definitely too high. :)

• Returned to hunting Shiny Mega Sala da Menci even though I wanted to lab hunt for Zapdos, Moltres and Ditto. Seeing people get them on SCS made me feel jealous. It takes too long for my daycare couple to lay eggs, on top of only a chance of one being van Bagon out of 3 is making me feel deep regret...

• I tried to do Medal Rally for the 1st time in my PH gameplay! It's difficult to maintain the top of the leaderboard when I produce too little PD and had to spend ~1 mil on just berries, I grow a bit desperate when there's a competitor. I wonder if I can even win a medal at all. If I do, it will be a nice parting gift.

◦ And I won! Sure was fun competing!

• SCS is the bane of my life...! In my first SCS in May, I didn't do well, only 1,500+ interactions per wave. But in June 22nd, I changed my tactic to utilizing both computer and smartphone at the same time after Riako confirmed you can do it as long as both devices belong to you, and my progress improved significantly! I pretty much "no-life"d the entire day doing SCS. I'll keep track of my records here, so when I come back, I'll be proud and maybe a little shameful of myself.

Title: Corner Entry #91:

Oh no... PH gave me a reason to stay...! And I was about to leave! I guess it wouldn't hurt to stay till August unless I'm too busy studying. Here's the July Corner Entry!
