''So... How do you even expect me to find the other guys?'' - you
spoke to your Guardian. ''The point is, I don't.''
''Wow... You actually responded. A shocker.'' ''I'm not going to spoil you anymore, you know. Hehe.''
''Oh, now you're just playing around, are you?'' ''Indeed. Indeed I am.''
''I swear to god... ...Hello?''
Your Guardian didn't respond again, this time, probably for good.
You'll better get going and find those Gifted.
Ivy scowls as he doesn't respond. "I feel you here!"
"Fine." He says slowly. "You must find the others."
"But-But that's impossible, there's like, 16 in 7 billion!"
"You must. It is the only way."
"It's impossible!"
"It's possible."
Her eyes flame. "How? Just... I made a mistake coming back to you
for advice. You're USELESS!"
She runs off, kicking where she assumes he is. She hears a muffled
"hey!" and disappears.
(Can you hit them?)
[I... Guess I could allow that on this one occasion? I thought they
were supposed to be omnipotent for God's sake XD]
You are already tired of walking. How can people even walk for such
long distances? You decide to just lay in a layer of moss until
you're completely recharged. While gazing at the blue sky covered
by the leaves, you wonder if there would be someone with the same
power as you. You'd wish.
(xD She rages very well <3)
Ivy runs along for a long time until she gasps for air a mile and a
half away. She doubles over a bit and flops down. "Wow. I'm really
out of shape." She mutters and looks at her long aching legs.
"Great."
You fall asleep on a bed of moss. A mysterious figure wakes you up.
It wears a black robe, seemingly glittering with countless stars.
You know exactly who the person is, even though you see it the
first time in your life. ''Ah, there you are! You don't even
know how cute you look when you are asleep! Oh, and is this
yours?'' - the figure speaks in a cheerful female voice
and hands you your glasses.
''Yeah, sure, that's mine... Hey... I would recognize this voice
everywhere. YOU'RE my Guardian?'' ''Oh, please, you dummy. Call me
Celesca. Of course I am your Guardian!''
''Okay, ''Celesca''. What is supposed to be my first
objective?'' ''I'm going to grant you all your
powers again. Not because I want to, but because it's a part of
your first Challenge. It will be relatively simple. You need to
make a gap in reality again. This time, you need to think about a
specific thing.''
''...Sure... What is it, then?'' ''It grew along with you and your
previous home. That's all I can say.''
''...Wait!!''
Ivy stretches her legs in turn. Sighing, she gets back up, and
tests her legs, which still ache, but they're not too bad. Grabbing
a hair tie, she ties her hair up to keep it out of her face. She
then runs again, her legs aching badly about a mile away. Ignoring
the pain in her legs, she continues running... Straight into
Celeric. Eyes widened, she steps back. "Oh god. I'm so sorry! But
why did you have to get in my way?"
Marine wakes up and goes along. She notices, that the presence, the
weird feeling, weakens, when she goes in the direction. But she
feels it funny and goes in the opposite direction.
My feign ran out. Now it's time to
reappear, after more than two years. Hope I retained my
kindess.
''Let's see. A thing... Grew along? In my house?
An apple tree! ...No, perhaps my dog?'' - you say. You notice that
something grows on a nearby tree. Something that could be an
answer.
''It's... It's a poison...
Vine?'' - you stop thinking about it, as a girl approaches you and
steps into you.
Ivy scowls. "Names Ivy. What were you doing just standing there?"
She rolls her eyes. "Even when I was running you didn't even move.
That's really not clever, y'know. I could've hurt you." For the
first time she examines the person. Definitely not much older than
her, and probably weaker. She shrugs and keeps walking, rolling her
eyes again.
Ivy? Wait... - You think to yourself, as you run after the
girl.
''Hey, wait! I'm Celeric! Nice to meet you! I'm a Gifted! Come with
me!'' - you shout, waking up the forest. The birds make a quick
escape from the place.
Ivy blinks. That's not the usual greeting... How does he know
I'm a gifted? I don't trust him but... She stops and turns
around to look at Celeric. "Why would you say that to a stranger
you hardly know?" She asks, testily "For all you know, I could hate
Gifted's and could kill you right now." She puts on a cocky but
careless expression, hiding her true emotions.
