The dog skids on the ground, spraying dirt everywhere and scrambles back to his feet, letting out a more enraged than excited bark. He takes off again after flintstar, his tongue lolling and a wild look shines in his eyes.

"Snowflank you cant go i don't want you to get hurt! Flintstar insisted she lead it away and that i warn you all that the dog was found"

Flintstar ran to the fruit trees. Hoping to distract the dog.

Snowflank lashed her tail. "You can't expect her to take on that dog alone!" She ran out of the camp before she could be stopped.

Whiteleap flicks his tail before sighing and bounding after snowflank. "Hey wait for me, i still dont want you to get hurt!"

The dog freezes as he looses flintstar's sent, instead being overwhelmed by the other smells in the area.

Eventually it growls and begins to run again, blindly hunting flintstar down based off of faint traces that it picked up through the scents of the fruits.

She waited until Ollie stopped squirming then gently set him down on his paws. Her tongue rasped over his forehead in quick, rough licks. "How did you get here little one?"

Ollie's fur fluffed up like a puffer fish when she did so, mewling again. It flattened down quickly like earlier, softly answering her,"I... I dunno... I just remember falling asleep with my litter... And then woke up... And they were gone..."

Flintstar burst out from a bush and lunged onto the dog. She was snarling and clawing at it.

Snowflank kept running. Her jaws parted to follow the trail. She ran to the fruit trees and gasped when she found the dog and Flintstar.

The dog howls with rage and shakes itself violently, trying to fling flintstar off it's back.

Whiteleap stops beside snowflank. "I would trip the dog, but im afraid flintstar might get hurt if shes still on it's back"

//i find this hilarious because my cat attacked my pitbull the same way, she flew out of nowhere and leaped onto his back and he freaked out and ran away yelping and i laughed w ay too hard lmao

Snowflank ran up and swiped at the dogs legs. She yowled at it, trying to get its attention.

The dog knocks flintstar off it's back and whacks snowflank roughly with it's large paws, leaving a rather large gash in her side with it's claws

Whiteleap screeches angrily, lunging at the dog and biting at it's heels, causing it to fall, and while it was down, he scrambled over to snowflank's side, yowling in agony

Lucas suddenly bashed into the dog, his massive jaws tearing into soft flesh. Maybe the cats won't attack him if he helped. the dog was smaller, but he was strong. The dog started raking it's claws into his side, the pain burning like nothing he had ever experienced.

The dog howls with fury, focusing its attention on lucas, fighting back for a moment before realizing that he couldn't fight this dog now that he was injured. he cast an angry glare at the cats and fled, leaving a tired flintstar, injured snowflank, mournful whiteleap, and helpful lucas behind.

Ferntail was rushing towards the scene with Wishflower on her tail. Lucas had informed them about the battle, the two timid at first. Lucas nuzzled Yellowsting, not knowing if the tom was alright.
