'Alright well..' he turned toward the others, gesturing his arm out to the door. 'Let us head over, shall we?'

He smiled, patting his juniors' backs lightly so they can walk in front of him. He walked over to the side and opened the door for them as they walk past. An image ran through his head, that of a sheep dog guarding and herding sheep. It was a comical thought to think of, but it somehow made him feel warm. As the others walked past, he closed the door behind him and dutifully ran to the back of the group like an enthusiastic dog with a purpose to serve his master.

Shuffling on his feet a bit, he looked around and then at the clock. It was still a bit early for dinner, but stomachs weren't getting full either. He leaned on the couch, turning toward Soleil as she asked her question. Looking back, it was a feast thay prepared for the first dinner. Food was especially extravagant during such events, as expected.

'Well it was a pretty good spread last year. On normal days there'd be a menu with set meals from which you can choose from depending on your diet, but today would probably be along the lines of an all-you-can-eat buffet. And always save yourself some room for dessert. They only bring it right at the end when everyone's done. A bit cruel, isn't it?'

Chuckling softly, he felt reminiscent and thought about the dinner from last year. He wasn't able to eat much, but the dessert was well worth it. He turned toward Soleil's side upon sensing some movement by her, embarrassed that he hadn't noticed the boy earlier.

'Hello Song, how long have you been there?' he teased slightly. 'You look very good.'

Everyone looked quite fine in their attire, which seemed to be a reflection of their own personalities. Specifically the one with interesting wording across her chess whom he turned toward and smiled as a response.

'Oh thank you Lilith, and you're quite..'

Meka paused upon reading the sign on her shirt, quickly stopping himself with a finger to his lips. He shook his head in denial towards her offer and gave her thanks anyway. Hearing footsteps behind him, he turned back and smiled at Soleil. He greeted her warmly and complimented her back.

'Thank you, you look quite smart yourself Soleil. Feel free to take pictures this evening if you like.'

He smiled teasingly, although he figured something might be wrong because of the somewhat "cold" atmosphere. Was there a fight? This early? He stood there for a while, getting more annoyed at the silence before he finally broke it.

'Has anyone seen Alaparos?'

Meka brushed his hair back neatly, a few strands coming out of his grip and framing the sides of his face. He bit on his hair tie as he brought his hair back to tie in a little ponytail. When he was done, he brushed the few shorter strands behind his ears and sorted through his accessory box. He looked for a certain hair pin, finding a golden barrette with a geometrical star on it, along with two golden pins to accompany the lone star. He took a good look at his reflection in the mirror, satisfied with his get up.

He had decided to go with a safe beige turtle neck and brown wool blazer combo, along with his striped brown pants and shoes. As he looked himself over, he readied himself for dinner and whatever else was to come. He ditched the glasses this time, cringing a bit at himself for even wearing them in the first place when he didn't need them. Finally ready, he put his phone aside and opened the door back to the common room and looked around for anyone near.

'Mm..well I need to get ready for dinner, you know how it is. Talk to you later.'

Having ended the call, he turned toward his luggage and got up to take his shoes off to keep aside. Sighing, he opened one of them to take a look at what was labelled as "formal clothing". He was not sure of what to classify as "formal" but decided that being over dressed was better than under dressed. Last year his mother prepared a suit for him and it was a bit uncomfortable, having her in the dorm just to dress him up as if preparing for Sunday, to say the least.

'Make connections Ameka, you know that's quite important right? Make a good impression.'

Something he didn't particularly shine in admittedly.

'Seems I'm utterly hopeless in picking out clothes hah!'

Giving up in a while, he turned toward the mirror. Carefully, he took out all the accessories on his messed up nest of hair and brushed some of the longer strands back. He took a good look at his exposed forehead before he whipped out his hair brush and started brushing the tangled parts.

A blazer would be nice maybe..
