zomg i've been really proud of the progress i've made this quarantine. i've brought my weight down to something i've comfortable with, officially have a gym membership that i've been staying pretty true to, and am slowly working my up to gaining muscle

i also have a job that pays decently that i'm really happy about :)

maybe if i get deranged enough i'll start spending real money on this site to get the shiny valenfloon of my dreams lolsies <3

i am thankful for every experience i've ever had, as it's taught me even just a little something. i hope you all feel the same

there's no way ppl are out here listening to mxmtoon and being okay

wow it's such a trip going through my old youtube playlists. like i was out here listening to that??? yes i was.
it's so psychologically revealing too, like LMAOOO i was going through a deep depression when i was listening to atlas, cavetown, mxmtoon, AND hamilton all at once. that's 'i need a therapist badly' level

Chuyo pushed her glasses up higher on the bridge of her nose, a poke ball in hand. She looked at it fondly, happy to know of her new Mudkip waiting inside for when she finally started her adventure. Chuyo looked up from it and scanned the landscape around her. Dewford Town was small but cozy. She gingerly placed the poke ball into her bag and set out on her journey.

Marian shook his head quickly. "What? No, no way, I wouldn't think you're weird for that!" He laughed a little. "I used to read a lot, too. Back home with my family. That and drawing by the sea side." He rested a tan cheek on his hand. "I kind of miss it now. Makes me homesick." He thought about her question a little bit more before adding, "And hah. I wish I could read while hanging off of a tree, and in the moonlight, too? That sounds like a dream. If only I was athletic enough to do that. I'm just a simple Mareanie." He looked up at her and smiled. "Still, I'd like to try it sometime." Marian wanted to say something more, but he couldn't seem to find the words. He figured he should stop while he was ahead and retreat back to his room to recharge his energy for socializing. He leaned back in his seat and cleared his throat, uttering an apologetic, "Sorry, I need to go do something-- thank you. For, ah, talking to me. It was really nice meeting you, Lune." He was back to his stuttering, nervous prose, but he was glad to have made a friend. He shot her a wave as he half-jogged half-walked back to his dorm, face flushed all the way.

A light dusting of red settled on the skin of Marian's cheeks. He quickly faked a cough and hid his face in the crook of his arm. "Thanks..." he murmured, his voice soft. "Hah, no one's ever said that about my name before. I appreciate it, even if I'm too dumb to know the connection to greek culture." Marian quickly composed himself and leaned against the table. "You seem real smart. Say, what kind of stuff do you do outside of school?" He clasped his hands together and tried to meet her gaze.

Marian nodded. "Oh! It's no problem, haha!" he laughed. The moon, huh? It really was a pretty name. Snapping back to reality, he answered her question politely. "Well, ah-- Marian. My name's Marian. Nothing special to it, really." He fiddled with the rice ball in his hands, and by now it'd begun to lose most of its form. "I think I'm one of the plainest guys in this school," he joked, twisting a strand of his hair around his pointer finger. "It would've been nice to be named after something cool like the moon. Or a planet. Or-- y'know. Anything, really."

Marian's lips pulled into a small smile. "Yeah, I am!" he replied. "Got a letter in the mail a few weeks back and ah... Here I am, I guess." He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "My old school... hah, it was nothing like this." He gestured to the grandeur around him. A little bit late, Marian realized Lune's hand was oustretched in a handshake. He cleared his throat and shook it firmly despite his clammy hands. "Anyways, it's nice to meet you, Lune." He grinned shakily and just let the words fall out. "You, ah, have a very pretty name, by the way."

Marian slowly pushed open the doors to the cafeteria, eyes going wide at its size. "Geez... this really is a good school, huh?" He whistled a bit as he made his way inside. Marian immediately noted the rumble in his stomach. After the long trip, he could definitely use some food. After surveying the options, he settled for a few rice balls and then returned to look over the tables. He was hungry, but he sure didn't want to sit alone either. His eyes sweeped the area until a head of deep purple hair caught his eye. Marian sunk his fingernails into the rice and held his breath, trying to quell his nervousness. Approaching slowly, he cautiously took a seat next to her. "H... hey!" he sputtered, smiling at her. "I'm Marian."

Marian huffed a small sigh of relief as he looked around the room. All of his belongings were unpacked now. Nothing else for him to do. His hands itched for a distraction. He could go outside and talk to people. He made a face and groaned. "This is a school, Marian!" he muttered sharply to himself. "You need to talk to people." He ran a hand down his face. Taking a quick glance in his dorm mirror, he picked off a stray piece of string from his shirt and headed out, pushing his way into the fresh hall air. He figured his next stop should be the cafeteria. He was getting hungry, after all.

Marian sucked on the inside of his cheek and just nodded coyly, hiding his hands in his pockets. "Reina." He did what could be described as a half-smile and looked up at her. "Nice. Nice name," he finally managed. "Thanks for the info on the clubs too--uh, I'll keep them in mind." He shoved past the door before throwing a final 'thank you' over his shoulder. He shut the door hurriedly and kicked his luggage onto the floor before sliding down next to it. Marian sighed and reached over to unpack; it was his best distraction at the moment. He hoped he could explore more of the school later.

Marian followed at her side, silent but grateful for her help. He wasn't the best conversationalist, after all. Upon their arrival he scrambled for his luggage and bowed low. "Thank you so much!" he sputtered out, looking up at her through his curtains of hair. "I really appreciate it-- hah... I probably would've gotten lost if it weren't for you." He played with a loose strand of fabric on his sweater, having a hard time meeting her gaze. "Uh, I'm Marian by the way. Uh--" he swallowed around a lump in his throat. "What's... your name?" He awkwardly held out a hand. "This is how people introduce themselves, right?" Marian thought to himself.

Marian had his eyes set forward and head bowed low and he shuffled through the halls. However, a voice pulled him out of his own mind, bringing him back to reality. "Eh?" he sputtered as he looked up. Her deep blue hair came into vision and he shrunk back a bit, his shyness surfacing. "Oh-- uh, the-- the dorms, yeah. I was... looking for those... Yes." His mind scrambled as he looked for the words, and he suddenly remembered that he'd asked her a question. Marian looked down at his luggage and then back up at her. "Oh... uh-- yes. Yes, I'd love some help actually, if that's not too much trouble." He mustered a smile in return to hers, but he was sure to her it must've looked more like a grimace. Marian slowly held out one of his bags for her to take.

With a grumble and a sigh, Marian dropped his luggage to the concrete. He wondered just how late he was. Was everyone already here? He couldn't seem to see anyone near the entrance, after all. Marian nibbled at his lower lip and nervously fidgeted with his fingers. "Well," he muttered to no one in particular, "better late than never, I guess." He shoved a few strands of hair behind his ears and hoped he didn't look too creepy. With a sharp inhale, Marian steeled himself, picked his luggage back up, and trudged inside. His eyes were half-lidded and guarded as he entered. Marian quickly took notice of the grand walls and the beautiful interior. It almost looked fit for royalty, which only made Marian's posture sink even lower. He was nothing like royalty. "I'm gonna die in here," he thought, as he hurriedly searched for his dorm.
