A Yurei's Game

It's been a while since I saw it. I didn't know what to think at first. I felt scared and cold, and a developing sense of death hung over my head. I guess I shall tell you how it all started...

Chapter I
It was a crisp, autumn afternoon with the sun seemingly resting upon my head, waking me from my sleep. I outstretched an arm, yawning as I got up from my bed and stared out of the window. The sun shining upon my neighborhood made me smile with purity, as I walked to the bathroom to brush up and get ready. I walked in and looked into the mirror, only to see...
Another me.
It's face formed into a horrifying smile, and with its hollowed eyes, I could feel it staring at me. It's mouth contorted into smiles and frowns. It then stopped with a serious face and said, "Hello, friend." it croaked.
I stood horrified, not ready for what happened next...

Capitulum III


Erik and the guards, along with their leader waited for a conclusion to the interruption. Suddenly, a force knocked down the two sturdy doors. The splinters from said knocked doors flew like bullets, ricocheting across, shattering glass shards everywhere. The guards flinched, their knees shaking with absolute fear. The intruder had a heavy build, with a giant blade that made the guard's swords look like weaklings. "Which one of ye has the warrior?" The room was silent. A heavy air filled the room. No comments were made until...

"We don't have the warrior, Seajack."

'Ye folk don't understand, do ye?"


The intruder chuckled. With swift motion, the guards fell to the floor, and the ringleader was currently in a chokehold. The intruder whispered something in his ear, and the ringleader went white, and fell unconscious. "Leave, kid. Or you'll end up like these men." he roared. "I-i'm afraid I'm chained, sir." Erik squeaked. The intruder brung up his blade and struck the chains in one fell swoop, shattering them. Erik ran away as soon as he was free of his restraints. He turned back to see nothing but a pile of ash and rubble. The intruder had burned the place to a crisp, as a cloud of smoke clouded the air. Erik coughed as his eyes watered with sorrow. He walked away into the woods, walking every which way, seeing his way back home. If there even was a home to go to...

Capitulum II


Erik stared at the blade, as it glimmered into the moonlight. In a swift motion, he grabbed the blade and flipped it towards the armoured enemy. "Who are you?" he yelled. The armoured figure stood silently, until he slowly walked towards him. Every step caused Erik to flinch, waiting for him to attack. The knight was face-to-face with him, until his hand suddenly wrapped around his neck, causing Erik to drop the blade to the ground. "A valiant effort, but to no avail." A grizzly voice echoes from the knight. Erik attempted to escape, but it was futile. He passed out, and soon was sent to a kingdom, far, far away...

Erik was awoken to a spear poking his head, and when looking at the source of the doing, there stood the same guard, but without a helmet. He stared at him, and Erik couldn't stop thinking about how familiar he looked. That's when a booming voice yelled, and echoed throughout the room. "This is the wrong man, soldiers. How could you mess this up?!" Erik wanted to cover his ears, but realized he chained and couldn't move his arms. He tried to break out by looking for rocks, but to no avail, there were none. He began to lose hope until...

Capitulum I


Erik woke up from his slumber with a pounding headache, unaware of what happened during last night. Irritated, he groggily got up and left his shack, and headed towards a nearby pond. He washed his face, and stared off into the distance, almost into a trance. He snapped out of said trance, and sensed a presence. An odd one. He turned to see...nothing.

He looked around to make sure of his surroundings when a dark figure was illuminated by the moonlight. An armoured figure stood before him, and drew out his blade onto his neck. His sword was covered in dry blood, and the armoured figure stood still, silently, with his rusted and aged armour. Erik slowly put his hands up, with a plan bubbling into his mind.
