Before we begin, a brief explanation: I will start out by writing the introduction to the story. From there, however, what happens is up to you, the readers. Each part of the story will end in a prompt. You will then make suggestions in response to the prompt. Once several people have made suggestions, I will write the next part of the story based on those suggestions. That being said, let us begin.

A young individual stands in a room.
The room is pitch black, and you cannot see a thing. You hold your hand out in front of your face to confirm this. Yup, totally dark, you can't see anything at all.

==> Suddenly an old man's voice sounds from somewhere in the room

"Are you a boy, or a girl?"

==> Somewhere, a higher power flips a coin. The result of this coinflip has determined that you are a girl.

A single spotlight shines down on you, enough to reveal your own appearance and nothing else. You stand just over 5 feet tall, and your brown hair reaches your mid-back. A white hat, banded by red, shades your brown eyes from the spotlight which is currently glaring down at you. A sleeveless blue shirt trimmed with black is accompanied by a short red skirt.
Of course, you knew all this already.

==> The mysterious old man's voice sounds once again

"What is your name?"

What a good question, mysterious voice who's identity definitely is not blatantly obvious.
What will this young girl's name be?

During World War II, the British built several war forts in the waters surrounding Britain; these were meant to protect against German attacks. One of these forts was H.M. Fort Roughs, which was put into place in 1943. After the war ended, these forts were gradually abandoned, and many of them were destroyed; Fort Roughs would have been destroyed as well, if not for the fact that it was placed more than twice as far away from shore as originally intended, and was therefore outside of Britain's territorial waters. In 1956, all personnel were removed from the fort, leaving it completely and officially abandoned.
In 1966, Roy Bates came to occupy this fort. 2 September the following year, he declared it as a sovereign principality: The Principality of Sealand, and became its first Prince.
This did not come without opposition of course, and Britain came to the decision that they could not have what they referred to as a "possible Cuba" 7 nautical miles off their east coast. Several other forts near Sealand had also been left un-destroyed, and Britain sent its military out to destroy these as a means of threatening the newly-established Principality. The crew sent consisted of several helicopters carrying explosives, and a tugboat carrying a demolition crew. And occupant of the tugboat reportedly had shouted up at the Principality, "You're next," and another British government vessel passed close by soon after. The occupants of this vessel had reportedly been shouting obscenities up at Roy Bates's two children, Michael and Penelope (then 14 and 16, respectively), up until the point that warning shots were fired across the bow of the vessel; at this point, the British retreated.
Being that Bates was still at the time technically considered a British citizen, he was issued a summons on 25 November, 1968, on the basis of illegal possession of firearms. However, the court ruled that Sealand's location outside of British territory meant that the British court held no jurisdiction; the judge, in summing up, made the statement “This is a swash buckling incident perhaps more akin to the time of “Sir Francis Drake” but it is my judgment is that the UK courts have no jurisdiction.” This is considered the Principality's first de facto recognition.
QuoteDe facto recognition: When something is referred to as being "de facto," this means that although not officially legally recognized, it has been recognized as existing. Meaning, although the micronation has not been officially recognized by any other governments, other governments have acknowledged its existence.

who are your favorite characters, and why?
Ahh wowwww, that's a hard one, because I kind of love most of them-?
But if I had to narrow it down to just a few, I'd have to say I really like Karkat, Sollux, Eridan, Nepeta, Damara, and Aradia.
I don't really have any specific reasons per say, that's just who appeals to me the most I guess...

who do you ship?
Wowwwwww, this one.... I mean, I have a lot of ships honestly, but again if I had to pick just a few, GamKar<> and Karezi<3 are pretty much my ultimate ships, but I also really like Rosemary<3, SolKat<3, NepKat<3, Meowrails.... If you're interested in the full list, it's on my tumblr, and I could link you to that, I don't want to make this post too long....

what's your favorite part of the comic?
what's your least favorite part of the comic?
I don't really have an answer for these, honestly, there are a lot of great things about all the parts, I think, and it's hard to choose-

how did you find out about homestuck?
From friends- Actually, oddly enough, it was a while ago when the fandom was still largely hated, and a couple of friends were talking about how much they disliked it, and I kinda thought "it can't be all that bad maybe I'll look into it," but later I heard from a friend who did (still does) like it, and that's when I decided "yeah, I'm going to read this.

when did you start reading homestuck?
A little more than a year ago.

what's your favorite music from it?
Ohhh that's hard too, all the music is pretty great....
Karkat's theme is my ringtone on my phone if that counts for anything-

do you have any headcanons for anything?
So many...
So many.......

who's your patron troll?
Uhhm, well most people here seem to be going by their Zodiac trolls, which in my case, I'm an Aries, so that would be Aradia and Damara-
However, I prefer the method described here (as it's more accurate, what with the kids' patrons not matching up to their zodiac, and when used with their canon birth dates, does yield their canon patrons), in which case mine would be Feferi.

what pokemon would you partner with the characters?
Hmmm, not really sure, to be honest.... I do like some of the things a few of you already said-

have you cosplayed as anything from homestuck?
Yes, I cosplay Karkat-

do you have a pesterchum, and if so, you can share it if you'd like!
Yeah, mine is blueCourage
