Is there any set of rules, that helps to explain people what you want from the link trade?

As I don’t have any friends playing Pokémon, I have to collect version unique (or trade-for-evolution) Pokémon through link/surprise trades or Pokémon home GTS.

And it’s hard to get people understand what I want in a link trade although I keep choosing either version unique or those who evolve when traded. In response I get either trash or legendaries as suggestion.

Any advise?
