Physical Appearance: She has long seafoam blue hair tied back into a ponytail with a white scrunchie, and she has light yellowish brown eyes. She wears white circular glasses to help her nearsightedness. She wears a black shirt, blue pants, and a purple windbreaker jacket with a teal chevron on the back. She's always wearing her hiking boots as she's out and about.

Region: Kanto (Palkia is the legend)

Pokemon 1: Horsea
moves: Bubblebeam, Dragon Breath, Icy Wind, Focus Energy

Pokemon 2: Eevee
moves: Covet, Shadow Ball, Protect, Bite

Personality: Wisteria can be a very helpful person, when she wants to be. She wants to be the best, always striving to do whatever it takes to become stronger. However, at the same time, when she's angry, she's like a storm cloud, one that needs to be redirected for her own sake. Usually, she's self-aware enough to know when to step away, and she decided to leave her home a year ago to find adventure and possibly discover what it takes for inner peace. When she has friends, she's loyal, however, she tends to lean towards the 'trust is earned' mentality, to the point where she distrusts people who have given her no reason for doubt. She's driven by a strong moral compass, with lines she'll never cross, but she's also unwilling to compromise a lot of the time, with a fierce stubbornness.

Backstory (optional): Raised by a single mother in Fuchsia City, Wisteria is the youngest out of three kids, her older brother and sister being fraternal twins. She was always the odd one out, her sister particularly being hard on her, blaming Wisteria for being the reason their dad left. Her mother tried to be there for her, but unfortunately, she had to work a lot to support her children. Wisteria's older brother was always a beam of positivity in her life, giving her her first Pokemon, Horsea. He fished it up himself for her. Wisteria kept raising this Horsea for most of her life, and she would meet her Eevee soon after she decided to go off on her own.

Wisteria didn't want to go at first, but after months of deliberating, she decided to hit the road. It was no one's fault in particular, but Wisteria realized she never felt at home with her own family.

For the first time in years, an emergency meeting has been called between all the guilds.

The decision had been made behind closed doors and carried on the wind, a message sent through trusted couriers and secret letters. An official summit between the Verdant Horizons Guild, the Ironclad Brigade, and the Shadowveil Order—three groups that had spent more time at odds than in agreement. If they were truly willing to meet under a banner of truce, it could only mean one thing: something happened. Something big.

And where the guilds gathered, others would surely follow.

The meeting was set for the outskirts of Sinister Woods, a stretch of old growth forest that lay in the middle three guilds’ territories. Though technically neutral ground, the location had its own reputation—tall, gnarled trees that blotted out the sun, their roots twisted like claws reaching from the earth. Mist hung low in the deeper parts of the forest, curling around the underbrush, swallowing those who wandered too far from the main paths. It was the kind of place that could hide many secrets, and for some, that made it the perfect setting for a meeting of this scale.

Even before the appointed time, the surrounding clearings and winding trails were already bustling with movement. Scouts patrolled the perimeter, making sure no one was lying in wait for an ambush. Messengers from independent factions whispered among themselves, exchanging bits of intel and speculation. Some of the region’s strongest explorers—guild-affiliated and otherwise—had begun to gather, forming uneasy alliances or eyeing each other with suspicion.

For a rogue like Magic, this was an opportunity that couldn’t be missed.

She surged forward, surfing effortlessly atop her tail as she glided over the craggy slopes of Mt. Thunder, the electric air crackling behind her as storm clouds loomed over the peaks. The wind howled against her ears, whipping through her peach-colored fur as she moved with practiced ease. The urgency in the air only fueled her—what could possibly make these rival guilds, who had spent years at each other’s throats, suddenly come together?

Her mind raced with possibilities. A lost piece of the treasure map? A discovery that threatened all explorers? A new, unknown force entering the region?

Whatever the answer, she intended to be there firsthand when it was revealed.

As Magic descended from the mountain range, the landscape shifted beneath her. The jagged cliffs and storm-worn ridges of Mt. Thunder gave way to rolling fields, then dense woodlands where the Sinister Woods awaited in the distance. The closer she got, the more Pokémon she spotted moving in the same direction—some she recognized, others she didn’t, all drawn to the same mystery.

Listen I just wanted to start this thread to give some love to my favorite non-rival characters, mostly because the rivals are the most talked about characters in most generations, maybe aside from the villains so I just wanted to give them some love. To get things started I would just like to say I REALLY love Grimsley and he's the reason that I wish the Elite Four were more story-relevant because he seems like he'd be fun to vibe with

He has a really neat design, he's one of 3 dark type elite four members and I feel he embodies the vibe best (ALSO HE HAS A LIEPARD and I love seeing Liepard on teams, it's the best regional cat). I was so happy to see him return in Alola along with Colress (who is also one of my favs), and his new design with the white hair? *chefs kiss* beautiful, amazing, no notes. He's a diva, an icon, sure he canonically is a gambler but he at least isn't spending money he doesn't have lol being in the elite four has GOT to pay well.
