Seyda was greatly put off by the woman's atmosphere and attitude. She'd come expecting a wise leader that could tell the difference between ally and foe, one that would be grateful for any information that might help save her people. She could feel Faolan's approval quickly dwindling, leaving very little left in herself.

Despite herself, Seyda took a small step forward and inclined her head again. When she spoke, her voice was deadly calm and betrayed no emotions. It was impossible to tell how the Shadow was feeling in that moment. "Wise leader, I come seeking and bringing news. As I've already told your very clever scout, the humans are on the rise. They venture further and further into the few remaining wilds of our world, bringing with them fire and blood. In response, demons all over the world seem to be rising, becoming bolder and attacking more humans. It will be an all out war soon and the humans will be at your doorstep before long. Your Guardian was smart enough to realize how important this information was and brought me right to you."

She paused, looking at Azure and inclining her head respectfully. "For that, I thank her. I can see now that not all of your Guardians would have done so." She turned back to the Alpha, icy blue eyes calm and emotionless.

((Will reply as Kaiya when I get home!))

Seyda hesitated for a moment and then returned to her human form, listening to what Azure was saying. Truly, it did sound amazing. What a lovely thought. She could feel Faolan's own approval coursing through her. He liked the Guardians. Were you a half-breed, you'd be one of them. She thought to him slyly, casting a smirk over her shoulder at him before she followed the other girl up the stairs.

She stepped through the ivy, taking a swift step to the side and quickly took stock of the room. The woman was angular and sharp. She looked hard as steel and just as steady. She also incredibly unhappy. Seyda bristled at the way the woman talked down to her. No one had dared call her girl in years. She grown up wild and fast and had always demanded the respect she deserved.

She was a Shadow and Shadows stood alone in the darkness, bending knees to no one. Everyone assumed the Order had a leader but if it did, it was a jealously guarded secret. If decisions were to be made, a Shadow punished, or a course of action needed, then a meeting of Elders, those skilled enough to survive past 30, met and made such decisions. She didn't bow or drop to her knees but she inclined her head, a finger gently tapping Faolan's nose to make sure he did the same. That was all the respect she needed to show. The woman before her was not her Alpha. She waited respectfully for the woman to speak first.

((Figure Sheerra and Kaiya will wait for Sid and Dusk))

Seyda slowed along with Azure, making sure to stay behind the kitsune, out of respect and necessity. Faolan bristled behind her, his voice rumbling her in mind again. We're surrounded, Little One. She glanced back at him, flicking his nose gently with her tail.

And what we're you expecting, Old One? He only rumbled at and left her with, Let us hope they are friends, indeed. Seyda could tell Faolan was unhappy with the situation. It went against all of his natural instincts, letting himself and her be surrounded by strangers. Still though, Seyda knew that if things went south, the two of them could easily escape.

She came up beside Azure, her eyes wide as she examined the amazing structure. She was filled with a sense of awe as she looked it over. "Wow, this is.. amazing.."

Seyda watched with slight fascination as the demon slid away, huge tail dragging behind it. She'd been to the Giant Forest several times but there were new things to see every time she traveled anywhere. She enjoyed seeing the new sights, sounds, and people. The demons they had in the Coven Mountains were as monstrous and cruel as the mountains themselves. Huge, frozen, birds and giant, stalking, wolves.

She nodded in response to Azure and followed pace behind her. She let the kitsune lead although she was itching to stretch her muscles and run at her full speed. It didn't take long before they were both tearing through the forest, Seyda skillfully matching Azure's every move. She was always far more comfortable in her demon form thanks to years of being raised by Faolan in this form.

The larger size of the two of them made their progress slightly slower than Azure's. The slender kitsune weaved through the trees with ease, Seyda and Faolan lopping behind, bringing up the tail.

Kaiya watched the two men interact, a slender brow arched up, an amused smile on her gentle features. She could tell they were good friends, that much was obvious. She bowed gracefully to the mountain of a man, giving them both another warm smile. "Well met, then. I thank you both. Dusk for you steel and powder and Sid for your voice."

She laughed softly and then quickly stopped, her split lip hurting with the motion. She could have easily healed herself but she believed if a healer mended every cut and bruise, they forgot the meaning of suffering and pain. It was good to be reminded of it.

"I think you are both valiant and courageous. The Gods will smile down on you and the Order thanks you for saving one of their faithful." Kaiya said, smiling up at both of the men. There were few people left that would put their lives on the line for a woman they did not know. She was just about to open her mouth and say something when she caught the words of a woman behind her. The voice was slightly familiar.

She'd been facing away from the woman, only her back visible to her, but as Kaiya turned to see who it was, her face was revealed. "Sheera!" She cried, breaking out into a smile, the split in her lip oozing blood again. The bruise along her cheekbone was swelling and angry looking but despite all that she still look pleased to see an old friend.

She'd met Sheera a long time ago when Kaiya had been in training in Chiden. After that, she'd hired the skilled sellsword to escort her to the North Cove. The two had gotten along well enough and had become friends. Kaiya walked to her friend, body aching as she went, and grabbed her arm gently, escorting her back to the two men.

"Sir Dusk, Sir Sid, this is my good friend, Lady Sheera. Don't worry, she won't bite." She teased softly, glancing back at the woman with a smile. "Sheera, this brave men just saved my life."

Kaiya watched, still leaning against the wall, as the boy confronted the one remaining man. She glanced down at the man laying unconscious on the ground, the wood beam still clutched in her hands. She hadn't been strong enough to shatter the wood over the man's head, only smart enough to know exactly where to hit on the man's head.

She watched as the boy threw a handful of white powder at the man in front of him. Kaiya grabbed her cowl and pressed it across her mouth, filtering the air she breathed in, just in case. She, schooled in poisons and cures, recognized the powder for what it was. She waited for the paralysis to set in and then tip toed around the two brutes, slowly approaching the boy and the mouth of the ally.

"I thank you, kind sir." She murmured softly, coming to a stop with a safe amount of distance between them. She reached up with her delicate hands, lowering her cowl, cascades of blonde curls dropping down to her hips, framing a fine boned face. Her full bottom lip was split and bleeding and a nasty purple bruise followed the delicate rise of her cheek bone. Despite that, she was undeniably beautiful with a kind smile and warm eyes. She reached up and fixed the gold circlet she wore and then bowed slightly. "You saved my life. I have no way to thank you." She said in her soft voice, deep crystal pools landing on the man again as she straightened, body aching.

"My name is Kaiya of the Holy Order." She left off her lady title and the name of her house, as she often did. She didn't need her title.

Kaiya was curled against the wall at the men rained down blows on her, tearing at her silk and cloak. Her cowl still hid her face and her body was curled towards the wall, shielding most of herself. She didn't dare move as she heard another voice enter the ally.

The two men looked up from their sick pleasure and eyed the younger man standing before them. They began laughing. The larger one stepped forward, sneering with his ugly face. "And what do you plan to do with that steel, boy?" He hissed, taking another slow step forward. He was obviously very confident in his ability to deal with the smaller, younger, boy. But when being backed by an equally hideous and cruel brute, it was hard to not be so confident. Their idiocy lent them a stupid kind of courage.

Kaiya held her breath, waiting and baiting her time, simply listening to what was going on. She could tell the larger of the two was closest to the mouth of the ally, confronting whoever had stopped them. The smaller was only a few paces in front of her, she could tell. He probably wouldn't even notice if she moved. They probably figured she would be too afraid to even try.

She tried to stand and had to resist making a sound of pain. Her body ached and she could feel the throbbing of bruises and the slight leaking of open wounds. She took in a deep breath, steadied herself and rose swiftly in a smooth motion, her fingers gripping a large piece of wood that had been laying next to her. She hefted it and slammed it into the back of the smaller man's head. Thanks to her healer training, she knew perfectly where to hit to knock the man out cold. She watched as he crumbled to the ground.

Cloak still hiding her features, she leaned against the wall painfully, chest heaving as she gasped for breath. "Even...fight..." She breathed out between gasps.

Lady Kaiya Isiador knelt in the dirt, her delicate hands hovering over a wrinkled and withered old beggar man. Her hands held a soft golden glow of warm magic as she healed the old man's scabs and sores. She then slipped some golden coins into his palm and pressed a kiss to his wrinkled forehead, praying to the Gods for a blessing upon his head.

Kaiya stood, not bothering to dust herself off and raised the cowl of her cloak again, enveloping her soft features in shadows. She stepped gracefully through the dirty streets of Trudale. Even among the dirt and dust, she walked with a natural agility, almost seeming to float above the dusty cobble stones. The near-black gray of her cloak made her both blend in and stand out more. Her porcelain skin glowed, her golden hair shone, and the white silk of her dress stood out against the black cloth that hid her features.

She rounded a corner, intent on returning to the modest home she was staying in for the night. She'd done all she could for the men and women of the city for that day. She'd almost made it home when she turned into a darkened road, nearly abandoned even at this time. What she saw made her come up short. Two large men stood above a much smaller, much older, man. They were beating, kicking, spitting on him. She had no weapons and no way to fend off these monsters but she didn't let that stop her. She couldn't just continue on while some poor man was being hurt.

"Stop! Leave him!" She cried, running and flinging herself against the closest man. Her light weight did nothing but she did catch the brutes attention. The one grunted and shook her off, throwing her against the wall in the process. The other stopped beating the man to glance her over.

"And what do we have here? A healer bitch who fancies herself a hero?" The closest one hissed into her face. Kaiya pressed herself closer against the wall but she didn't cower, her chin sticking proudly up into the air.

The man on the ground scrambled to his feet and took off at a run, not even sparing a glance for the woman that had just saved his life. She now had the men's full attention. Kaiya tried to slip away but one man grabbed her by her long, blonde, hair and threw her back. His friend backhanded her roughly, causing her full lip to split and her vision to swim. She gasped and tried to fight against the men but they were two and strong. She was one and only strong of heart.

Another smack sent her sprawling to the ground.

Nightbrier didn't say anything. He simply turned back and continued to stalk back towards the clan. He padded back to the nursery entrance and stood in front of it, blocking the entrance from the strange cat, just in case.

Winterthorn seemed to relax once her brother returned. Skykit began to wake up and his mother gently nuzzled him, comforting the waking kit.

Nightbrier paused and glanced back at Ferntail. "Are you trying to say all of that is because of this she-cat? Because I doubt that. Whatever problems you have with Cloudfur, you can take up with him when we return to the clan. But it's got nothing to do with her. This is up to our leader."

Whitethorn glances around the nursery nervously, drawing her sleeping kits closer to her warm body. She was determined to keep them safe at any cost.

Nightbrier sat back, his muscles taunt and ready for action. Despite that, he was calm. He wouldn't make any move until he was sure this she-cat was a threat. He glanced at Angelwing and then Ferntail before looking at the two. "Well lets get her back to Shadowstar. She can make the decision as it is hers to make." He grumbled and then turned, stalking back towards the camp.

Nightbrier leaned forward and nuzzled his sister. "It'll be okay." He rumbled to her. He knew that she worried about the kits. Winterthorn laid down next to the kits, licking each one gently as they slept.

Nightbrier padded after Angelwind, sniffing the scent that blew in from the forest. "Smells like its coming from this way."

Winterthorn seemed to be the first to smell the strange scent approaching the clan. She hissed softly, standing and stretching out her slender, white, body. She padded over to the nursery and sat down beside her kits, tail wrapping warmly around them before she glanced at the other queens. "Did you smell that?" She asked in her soft voice.

Her brother, Nightbrier stood up suddenly, a growl rumbling from him as he caught the scent next, his blue eyes scanning all around.

Seyda stood and stretched out her lithe body, watching with fascination as the girl changed her form. She was a beautiful kitsune, the blue coloring unusual and making her stand out. Seyda paused and glanced over her shoulder, checking the forest slowly. She had grown so used to hiding that now she was uncomfortable switching forms out in the open like this. Convinced that no humans were around, she smiled down at Faolan and transformed.

Her transformation was smooth and quick, almost done and over with in the time it took to blink an eye. She'd lived with Faolan in this form for most of her earlier years, it was even more familiar to her than her human form. She stretched out her body once more, now with four legs and tail. Her fur was lush, long, and black with a white under belly and white on her muzzle and the tip of her tail. She was larger than any wolf had a right to be, standing shoulder to shoulder with Faolan the giant. She was slender though, something about her form was unmistakably feminine. Her eyes were the same icy blue as in her other form.

She finished her transform and began to follow after Azure. She paused suddenly, foreign scents making their way to her sensitive nose, ears twitching, at the same time Faolan rumbled a warning in her mind. She returned the rumble in a soft growl, alerting Azure but too soft for anyone not in the immediate area to hear.

((I added a picture of Seyda's Demon form XD Thank god for spoilers or my pictures would take up half the page, sorry :3 ))
