I saw the ditto image with a pokeball in the lab, but it was shiny, when I clicked on it, it faded away? what does this mean?

I wasn't able to see if it was legendary, I just got lucky with a random egg! Spectrier is who I went with in my SWSH Game!! I love it!

Im NGL, I spam clicked during the tutorial in the lab and saw the egg. Articuno is my favorite of the birds, so I feel very blessed! I pass the luck to you! ^^
