I played Red! I bought it with my allowance money and played it on the super gameboy* when I was eleven. It was the second game I ever saved up for- the first was Final Fantasy VII (when I was 10), which I still have the original release-day discs of. Apparently they're worth a bit of money, now, but I'm too sentimental to part with them.

*- it was a cartridge that plugged into the Super Nintendo and let you play Gameboy Games on the big-screen. It was super neat! VVVVVVVV
