Backstory: Elise was like your usual Eevee, eager and curious to explore all her surroundings. She wasn't typically someone of note, however, seemingly always getting ignored by her parents, but Elise didn't pay much mind, galloping and frolicking in the fields. Although, something had happened. Her entire world had switched upside-down, as adoption rolled out the door, with Elise stuck in a new family; two Flareons to be exact. Elise was curious, wanting to learn and know about them, and that's when she found out they were much much nicer than her biological family! They actually paid attention to her, wanting to play and dance! It's how she became proficient in her footwork, always wanting to shake a leg!

Days turn to months, and months turn to years. With their familial fondness for each other, Elise evolved into a Sylveon. Appreciating how they catered to her, Elise would travel the world, wanting to offer the same kindness and hospitality, soon enough finding the fabled lab! This is where her life truly starts!

Federico could feel his head swirling as if he had walked out of a washing machine, struggling to make sense of his surroundings and recollect what had happened. Resting on his back, he could feel the sun beaming on his face, the winding wind flowing against his fallen body. He was about to pick himself back up, only to find a weight resting on his chest. His eyes flicked down, laid down on his partner, Kia. His body was still, unsure if she was alright. Her eyes were closed, and she didn't seem to be moving, although he can feel her steady heartbeat, slow and rhythmic. He pushed himself up, scooping the Minun in his arms before placing her down on the floor, back resting on the ground. Quick as a Furret, he rumbled through his bag, wrestling out a water bottle.

Perhaps this wasn't the best idea, but Federico wasn't thinking straight. He couldn't fathom his Pokemon like this, fainted right before him. Without even watching his surroundings to check if there were any dangers, he unscrewed the bottle and lifted the Minun up to be sitting upright, not wanting her to choke. He shifted the bottle in her mouth, letting gravity do the work, letting the water enter her system. It took a second, but the Pokemon woke up with a cough, gasping for air. Federico patted her back, letting it all out, just relieved his partner didn't seem to take any permanent damage. A flood of relief washed over his body, a goofy smile plastered on his face. "Can you walk?" He muttered, watching his Pokemon respond with a smile on her own, picking herself back up on her two feet. The trainer let out a laugh, giving his partner a warm hug, before letting her climb on his shoulder.

His smile was now gone, taking two sweeping looks from the left and the right, checking his surroundings to see if there was anyone nearby. There were a few people, but they were some distance away. Flanking his left was a Pokemon Center, although, given that this was the end of the world, he couldn't be too sure if it still worked. The Minun was confused why there was barely any kind of civilization around. The town was barren. What happened? That was something Federico would need to explain later.

Federico was like a bird without a nest, gliding endlessly in the immeasurable depths of darkness. This doesn't make sense - none of it does. Was this a dream? Why did it feel like something was pulling in his chest, pulling him further and further inside this emptiness? There has to be an answer to this questioning state of existence. That was when he tried to open his eyes. It was difficult and needed a second go. Taking a deep breath, he opened his eyes-

-and what stared back was an elderly figure, sprinkled with age and knowledge beyond comprehension. The most striking attribute of his appearance would be their height; a clear 2 feet taller than he was. The clothing they wear looked more like decorated armor than any comfortable piece of clothing. It wasn't a spirit- well Federico didn't think so. It looked corporeal enough. Although given where he is, he couldn't be too sure. Before Federico could say a word, a thought wedged its way inside his head, a voice that wasn't his.

"Wielder of Pokémon. We come seeking your aid."

The trainer blinked. Was the person in front of him saying this? The voice sounded like it resonated throughout his entire body, coated in authority and seriousness in the situation at hand. Federico waited for more, yet nothing came, a still silence between the two. A wall of stress augmented inside his throat, opening his mouth to speak. "Come seek my aid? What's going on? What happened?"

"The world has ended, yet you survived. We need your assistance to set the world back."

That was- quite morbid. What happened? The last thing he remembered was that a blistering bursting beam of light came out of nowhere and that he duck and covered with Kia, shielding her from the terrible incident. As he pondered, trying to reconnect the dots, the legendary continued.

"Seek the Bringer of Life, and recover the world back to its original state. There are other survivors like you. It is a precipitous journey, yet you are our only hope." They were laconic, each word and sillablye concise. There was a sturidness to it

Federico nodded his head in a slow measured way, his head swamped with thoughts. He needed to get to the bottom of this. Who on Earth could have even caused such destruction? Whatever it was, he needed to stop them, no matter what. Swollen with determination, he looked at the legendary with a resolute gaze, speaking before the Legendary could mutter another word.

"I'd be glad to help you. I don't want this world to be a wretched place. To hear the birds sing and for flowers to bloom is more than enough! I'm in this 100%." The legendary didn't expect that much enthusiasm, but he didn't oppose it. Made his job easier. Federico could feel his world suddenly cave into him, his surroundings becoming a mess of blurs and shades, thrown into a world he wasn't familiar with.

Blessing Description:
Blistering fire in his heart, Federico gains the ability to make anyone surge with confidence, standing steadfast against any potential threat that will come their way with the added bonus of being more resistant and astute to persuasion and skulduggery. Although this comes with the drawback that his body will become debilitated, struggling to properly move for about half an hour. Walking is difficult, and running is impossible.

Federico's first Pokemon, and following partner in his adventure. Ravaged by a wild Poochyena, Federico dived straight in and shielded the poor electric mouse, obtaining several scars across his back, a reminder of that faithful day. Enthralled by his bravery, the Minun followed the trainer wherever he went, which soon made him get his first Pokemon when he obtained a Poke Ball from his father, a gift on his 15th birthday. Fia is easily excitable, wanting to play with her trainer whenever they have the chance, although nuzzling causes Federico to be paralyzed, they both laugh about it afterward! Her loyalty knows no bounds, wanting to make sure her friends are safe no matter what.

The second Pokemon Federico caught when they were just a wee Wurmple, and while training wasn't exactly Federico's forte, Charlot quickly rose through the levels, finally evolving into a Beautifly. Charlot was much much different compared to Fia, being more serious and austere. Despite this, he still had interests. He wants to flourish in contests, to show everyone that he's the best. Despite his somewhat narcissistic nature, he deeply cares about his trainer. He doesn't get along well with the other Pokemon, but he understands that they hold different interests in mind. Sometimes, he does play with them, just to put a smile on their faces. It's not much, but it fills an emptiness in his heart.

Being the last pokemon Federico had caught, Veneno would be a perfect conclusion! Being caught in Fiery Path, a blistering anomaly of a location, the Koffing would make a great partner for Fia. While Fia loves to have fun, Veneno would be the one to instigate it, being a troubling trickster! Whenever it was "accidentally" knocking someone over, or causing a huge splash in a pond, Nobody minded, giggling alongside him, except for maybe Charlot, but he doesn't let that get to him, offering a smile whenever he can. Veneno is very optimistic, wishing the best no matter how down they seem! Seeing smiles is more than enough to get him chugging throughout the day.

Starting from the top, Federico wears a yellow bucket hat which has a Poke Ball symbol with a blue-and-yellow pattern on the rim, has unkempt charcoal hair, with a set of eyes matching the same color. His skin is a cool olive, light-brownish tan, and he wears two shirts. One is white, while the other is yellow and goes over, said shirt having two upper pockets. And- well- the pants aren't exactly pants. They're more like overalls he likes to wear loose, not even going over the shoulder. They too, have pockets. His fingerless gloves and simple shoes match a simple dark blue. A rather snazzy design.

Personality:
You'd be surprised if you see Federico without a goofy smile on his face. There is just something magical about striding for the future, achieving your goals, becoming the best you can be, and then actually executing it. This'll be surprising, but Federico is actually pretty lazy. Not really a person who would actually put the effort in, despite having ambitions to be the best, however vague that is! Despite this, he showers his Pokemon with love and support and is willing to help anyone in need, although this makes him really naive about the cruel world ahead of him.
General Skillset:
There's usefulness to being this incredibly approaching and gentle person. Wild Pokemon wouldn't be so agitated, and opponents might underestimate his abilities. He is courageous in heart, and will not back down, no matter how terrible the balance of power is.
Weaknesses/Flaws:
Again, he's lazy, and isn't really someone who would strive towards a goal on his own, needing support on others to get that freight train going. Not only that, but he's incredibly naive, and would trust anyone if they pull on his strings, or sob some tragic backstory. He'd feel sick if he didn't help!
Other Information:
~~Charlot might've stolen Federico's money at one point to get a Blue Scarf. Shhh. Don't tell anyone.~~

	This looks so cool. Am I allowed to be a trainer that has weaker Pokemon than the other trainers? I want my trainer to be a bit inexperienced, learning throughout the journey. Would this be alright with you? Just wanna make sure since I don't wanna waste your time. [Read more]
