Ooohh now that is difficult, I like a lot of legends and mythicals for different reasons so I'll dump a list.

Gen 1: Mew
Gen 2: Lugia
Gen 3: Latias
Gen 4: Shaymin (Sky Forme)
Gen 5: Virizion
Gen 6: Actually tied between Xerneas and Yveltal, I love them both a lot.
Gen 7: Lunala, very closely followed by Zeraora
Gen 8: Galarian Articuno
Gen 9: Miraidon

Overall favorite: Very close between Lunala and Miraidon. I'm not sure which has the upper hand.
