zane was practicing in the magic field and was summoning blasts of darkness magic with spells he called 'hellfire blaze' in which he manifested darkness magic balls then shaped them into fire balls and also threw many rocks far with enhancement spells he was testing out kinks for "hey sparrow can you get my water skin" *D&D fans will know what a water skin is* the darkness beast flew over to it and brought it over to zane "thanks"

zane was waiting near the entrance of campus and sometimes yelled "jack where are you!" eventually a young sparrow came "jack there you are can you go find tempol" it nodded and flew it would come back later with a young turtle which zane picked up and he let the sparrow sit on his shoulder and he went to the mage's dorms he then promptly set up a terrarium which he put the turtle in , he also set up bird cage and place the sparrow there , he also took out his spell book and started reading up on his younger self's attempt at creating spells they were all how to protect your mind from psychological damage he practised it every day and he wasn't going to stop now

zane didn't say anything but instead trying to remember if he brought everything he needed along with his sparrow
"hmmm" he then rememberedhe forgot his mask "oh no i left it back it at home" somehow he wasn't exhausted instead he used some self magic to strengthen himself whenever he got tired but he was still tired
he was waiting for the ceremony to end so he could go and feed his sparrow jack

Personality: a book worm nothing else need to be said except that he's exceptionally timid
Appearance: he has incredibly pale skin , deep black hair and almost fire like eyes (basically he has amber colour eyes) wears a mixture of black and blue and has a white scarf and mask to hide himself
Back Story:ever since he was a child he had good control of self and darkness magic especially with defensive spells this got him to be bullied which let to him having low self esteem only his pet sparrow kept him depression

zenki ran out to the group "hey wait for m- what happened here"
a bright white light covered zenki "damn didn't know my trial was so close " the white energy went a bit far from zenki and became material while it was converting zenki took up a fighting stance and let his sync mode activate and rushed over to the now trial monster it also took up a fighting stance an rushed to zenki and let out a barage of punches whihc zenki dodged then counter attacked by throwing it

zenki jumped onto a tree and then jumped to another tree "sorry but im used to traversing like this" he then jumped from tree to tree to sorta scout a head for any possible enemies then returned back "found a mother boar 5 meters to our right we should avoid it" he could have easily beaten it but he thought they needed to conserve energy after that battle they just had "but we should get a large scale map soon so we get knowledge about our surroundings"
