I happen to be in an art school actually (or tech school) and from my experience it's okayish, can get stressful at times but I'm about used to it now, I did learn some techniques with shortcut combinations while there.

Gen 5 is definitely my all time favorite though, I just thought it had the most interesting story for me, a lot of interesting side content (Like the dungeon areas for example), and it also introduced strange mechanics to the battle system as well.
