After a moment of thought, they nodded to Grookey, feeling a.... somewhat relation with the grass type. Grookey had a similar personality as them, preferring the outdoors over inside.

Grookey let out a happy chitter, lifting its head.

"Alright!" She approached Theo, handing them Grookey's pokeball. "Now, do you both have your Rotom Phones with you?"

The water type starter then quickly climbed onto her arm, using its tail for balance in case it fell.

"That one really seems to like you." Theo murmured, still smiling, although they didn't sound too enthusiastic, but they still didn't know how to get certain words out.

Sonia nodded in agreement. "Normally, Sobble's a timid one, but you really seem to get its interest!"

(Aaa sorry again for the late response! I'm actually recovering from an accident that happened so I'm not able to be on as much at the moment!)

Sobble gave her another look before happily spinning around. It gazed at her again, pointing its tail to her arm, wanting her to lower it for a moment.

Both Theo and Sonia smiled, deciding to watch what would happen next.

"It seems Sobble has already taken a liking to you!" the professor hummed, an excited look in her eyes.

	(Sorry reply was late, ended up having to sleep) Sobble lifted its gaze up at her, forming an excited grin. The other two didn't seem bothered, remembering there was the second trainer. They had to admit, despite the small amount of people, that being the professor, their neighbor, and themselves, they didn't know if they had to say anything.

"Alright then, now that... the books are out of the way!" she added with a slight chuckle. "I'm pretty sure why you both are here today! I'm Professor Sonia by the way, but you both can call me Sonia!" With a nod, she threw three pokeballs out.

On the left, the grass starter, Grookey, looked around quickly, letting out an excited laugh. On the right, a lizard-like Pokemon, Sobble, just sat, staring at both Viola and Theo. In the middle, the energetic fire starter, Scorbunny started running around the other two Pokemon.

Arriving at Wedgehurst, Theo noticed the larger building at the front. Believing it's the lab, they made their way inside, only to see the same girl helping someone with fallen books. Theo didn't know how to pop in, so they stood where they were.

"Thank you so much! I've just recently became the professor here after my grandmother retired so it's a lot of work!" Sonia laughed softly, pointing to where the books were. Yamper barked again happily, grateful for the pets.

They groaned softly, realizing they were too distracted to even walk with her. Shaking their head, Theo ended up heading to the lab themselves.

"I'll be right with you- ACK!" A young female's voice called out from the lab. A small pile of books ended up falling from the shelf. Her partner, Yamper, just ran around the pile, barking before quickly looking at the door ahead, hearing someone nearby.

Theo couldn't help but smile slightly. She seemed to be friendly with the neighbors, although they knew the difference. Theo wasn't mean but they didn't like being around many people. That's how they decided to chose Postwick as where they would live once they moved to Galar.

"Maybe I could wait... It's not a far walk anyways." They murmured, lifting their head back to the sky. The flock had disappeared, but it looked like the sky was finally clearing up.

My Character Form

Name: Theo

Age: 16

Gender: Non-Binary (they/them pronouns)

Appearance: Theo, who stands at a short height of 5'1 is shown with light cocoa skin, their dark blue dyed hair being one of their main features. Due to an event in the past, they show a scar running up from their left cheek to the tip of their right eye. Theo tends to wear any light colored clothes, not having a preference themselves.

Personality: In general, Theo shows a bit of social anxiety, quickly feeling nervous when around large crowds or when they're in the center of attention. Because of that part of them, Theo finds immediate interest in anything outdoors, pointing out quietly facts about something if anyone asks about it. If known better, they're more comfortable to talk, although Theo would still struggle.

Likes: They mostly enjoy outdoor areas without noises from people, feeling relaxed more around Pokemon. Reading about a region's part is something Theo takes to heart, being able to know what people and Pokemon were like in pasts. When it comes to food, Theo highly enjoys anything on the sweeter side.

Dislikes: Being the center of attention is something Theo gets anxious/nervous about easily. If they're stuck in areas with any loud noises, the way they show that they don't like it is by suddenly covering their ears. Spicy foods make Theo feel weird in a way, not liking the way it tastes.

Region of Birth: Theo was born and raised in the Unova Region but eventually, they decided to start their journey in Galar.

Backstory (optional): Born in Unova, Theo spent a lot of their time with Pokemon, mainly ones in the wild. Their love for them got the attention of an older trainer named N. He and Theo met time to time, talking about Pokemon and Unova's past. As Theo grew, they hadn't been able to see N as much as before. Asking others, they ended up getting the same answer. Some people didn't know who N was and others didn't know where he went. Refusing to start his journey for a while, Theo eventually learned about the Galar region and noticed the large variety of Pokemon. They thought N could have gone there so once they decided to leave at the age of 16, the Galar region was their stop.

Other Fact(s): Being called short by anyone gets Theo a bit riled up, despite disliking the attention.
