I didn't look at it this way. Thank you! Using Nuggets or Psychic Gems for the Abra service could work.
Also here could be set a special feature for Premium Users. I don't want it to make it completely free for Premium but maybe they could get like 3 Abra Deliveries for free each day.

Gothbutter: I was thinking that the users are all scattered around the globe. But if you look at it like the small neighborhood then you are right. Then the Pidgeys won't need that much time and sure with this the fee would also be lower. So if you look at it that way the times could be reduced to 15/10/5 minutes depending on the level of delivery.

Concerning the Abra: That would make the whole Pidgey Express unnecessary because Abra can teleport anywhere you like. Then it would more be like an Abra Delivery Service. (Which could also be possible) I still like this idea. =)

Finhawk: Well i think sitting it out would be the most reasonable. And it sounds pretty cool. But then again the weather changes are really random here so it could take really long for the weather to change to a nicer one then. So maybe it would be best for just the starting weather to decide if it can fly or not.

I just want to make clear that there are 3 different suggestions hidden here:

- The Item Trade Station
( i didn't write too much about it since other users already explained so much. Espacially SilverLugia456 did a lot of work on this.)

- The Second Hand Sale

- The Pidgey Express
(which could be implemented or not. The Item Trade is faster and i am aware of this. I just thought it might be a nice feature. Also i think it is less of a hassle than handling all the pokemon on the GTS. SO a bit of waiting should be worth it.)

Toothless:There was already a Trade Bag suggested. But it was suggested as a one time use item. I like the idea but don't like that it's a one time use only.
My main reason not to suggest an item was that I want to spare the GTS from unnecessary item dealing. Furthermore if you want to gift items the other user has to accept it in the GTS. This way would be a Poke-free version of item trading.

Sure it's not as fast. But we can still discuss the delivery times.
I just thought that if you can wait 20-40 or 60 Minutes on a Furfrous haircut there should be no problem in sending an item and waiting for it. For me it is kind of realistic for a Pidgey to take some actual time to fly back and forth.

Also there could be a box telling the recieving user that there is a Delivery on the way and in what time it will arrive. This could prevent some problems regarding the trades.
For the fee: I think I explained it with some logic that the money will be to care for the pokemon. We also pay for the Royal Tunnel so there should not be that much of a problem.
Still the price limit for the fee is open to discuss.

Wildfly: I don't think that this is really necessary. A simple meassage should be enough that the Pidgey is on its way.

I've looked through all the suggestions and rejected topics and saw that there are already some wishes related to item trading. Here just the links because I want to refer to some of them.

Item Trade Station

Kennster uttered the wish for Item trading.
I think SilverLugia456 described the idea of an Item Trade Station pretty well and I would fully support that. I already had kind of the same idea.
So please read bout it here first.
Just for the Items that are able to trade I would like to add the gems. Of course we have the Gem Exchange, but maybe a user would like to pay with gems?
Also users should be able to offer PD for items.

Referring to TigerFang25's Suggestion of an Item Auction. I think with the Item Trade Station this would be unnecessary. The user putting up the trade can decide wich offer to accept like in the GTS. So if one can offer PD it is just like an auction only without the time limit.
Of course I think that those trades should expire after a while just like the gem and pokemon trades.

Item Shop 2nd Hand Sale

So in addition to maybe an Item Trade Station I want to suggest something new.

What we know so far:
> The stock for Items offered changes daily.
> There are Item Sales which sell items with a special discount. This is also changing daily.
> Items can be sold at the Item Shop for half the original price.
> The sold items don't get stocked to the actual shop. They are just gone.

So what's that 2nd Hand Sale?
I know there are already a bunch of tabs for the Item Shop but I think there might be enough space for a Second Hand section.

The Users sell their items like usual to the item shop for half the original price. Instead of just vanishing now the Items will pop up in the 2nd Hand section of the shop.
Of course the stock will be limited to the amount of items sold by the users. The stock will not be resetted daily.
There users can buy the items for maybe a 10-25% discount to the original shop price.
This way users can get rid of unwanted items and other users will be able to buy items cheaper.
Since there will be a probably low limited number of items in stock it would not outrun the daily sales.

This feature is intended for Evolution Stones, Berries and Misc. Items (like Pokeballs). Selling a Map or Ruby there would be somewhat ~~stupid~~ unwise.

The Pidgey Express Service
(in referral to ShreyashJain's Trade Bag and as an alternative to the Item Trade Station)

ShreyashJain's Trade Bag in short: It's an item that you can buy at the Item Shop. The bag can hold an amount of like 3-5 items. You equip your Pokemon with it after putting in the items. Then the Pokemon gets traded in the GTS. The recieving user unequips the item bag and opens it. The packed items will go into the item bag of the new user and the Trade Bag vanishes. That makes it a one time use item.

The Idea of the Pidgey Express is to spare the GTS from item trading and to create a way of trading items without involving the users pokemon.

The Pidgey Express is here to handle it fair and square just for you!

You will be able to choose between 3 different kinds of delivery:

Of course this Service is not for free. Depending on the type of delivery you choose there will be a fee included. This fee is used to buy food and care for the Pokemon.

Pidgey Delivery:
> You can send up to 3 items
> The items will be delivered within 30 minutes
> The delivery fee will be 1,000 PD

Pidgeotto Delivery:
> You can send up to 5 items
> The items will be delivered within 20 minutes
> The delivery fee will be 2,500 PD

Pidgeot Delivery:
> You can send up to 10 items
> The items will be delivered within 10 minutes
> The delivery fee will be 5,000 PD

Also you can attach small messages to you delivery!
As soon as your Delivery arrives you will get notified of course.

Since we are talking about a Pokemon Delivery Service the weather conditions should not be ignored. Not every Pokemon can fly in any weather.
Pidgeys aren't as strong as Pidgeottos or Pidgeots so they will need more time and aren't able to fly in any weather.

Here is a table which tells you when a Pokemon can deliver or not:

EDIT: I think there could also be the solution of a Key Item sold in the Item Shop to enable a user to use the Pidgey Express. It could be a Delivery Bag small/medium/big. Each Bag enables the user to use the specific Delivery service. (Pidgey, Pidgeotto, Pidgeot)
Those items grant you a Delivery Pidgey/Pidgeotto/Pidgeot at the Express Station that you can use.
The money used to buy this item will be used for the health care of the Pokemon. Here I think of the Radar chips used for the Tall Grass. So they shouldn't be too cheap.
So the only fee left for the delivery will cover the price for the Pokemons food supplies during the delivery. That would make a delivery in general cheaper. (maybe just 500/750/1,000 PD each delivery)
Sind a User has only 1 Bag of each size there will be a limit on how many deliveries can be made at the same time. The exact number would be 3 if you bought all 3 sizes of bags.
So a user has to wait for his Delivery Pokemon to return to make new deliveries.

Here is a small example:
Koinu wants to gift/trade some items to Riako. The weather is a clear sky.
The items would be: 5 Pokeballs and 2 Honey.
In total that would be 7 Items.
a) send a Pidgeot:
> Pidgey and Pidgeotto are limitied to 3 and 5 items
> The weather conditions are fitting. Pidgeot can fly.
> It will take Pidgeot 10 minutes to make the delivery. Riako will get 1 Notification.
> Koinu has to pay 5,000 PD
b) send a Pidgey and a Pidgeotto:
> Pidgey takes 3 items and Pidgeotto the remaining 4.
> The weather conditions are fitting for both of them. Both can fly.
> Pidgey will take 30 minutes and Pidgeotto 20 minutes to deliver. Riako will get 2 Notifications.
> Koinu has to pay 3,500 PD in total.

These suggestions are open to discuss and free for any changes. It's still a suggestion.
But I like the Idea very much since it it related to the Anime.
It can also spark contests for Delivery sprites and Artworks as well as the Delivery Express Banner.

I think that 2$ isn't too much for this app.
a) Riako spent a lot of time coding it and had to buy the license
b) it's just 1 time payment and the coming updates will all be for free
c) it's really cute and fun to use
d) if you don't like it don't buy and stop complaining.
e) maybe one day Riako will find a coder and get it coded for iOS as well =D
f) when he announced the app earlier this year (or was it last year) he previously stated that the app will not be for free so you have been prepared.
and the big G) He's doing it all for us! <3

Despite all the crashes i'm so far really happy with this app. I know you have a lot to do maintaining the app and PH now. So complaining about crashes is stupid. If you have time to fix it you will do it.

	uhm.. well i think it may be a good idea. But think about people with slower internet that will have to load all those gifs.
