Hinami turns to Draco and signs back 'no'. At the corner of her eye, she sees a quick shadow that casted from above. Hinami glances up and even though she saw nothing, she knew something was on top. She signals to Draco her information.

Axel closes his eyes and inhales deeply. After a few moments, he reopens them and points. "The livestock is that way," He says. Riku nods, his nostrils flaring. Axel leads them to lower building and surely a few feet away is a little boy kneeling besides another older looking human, his legs trapped beneath rubble. Riku sharply takes a breath, the scent of blood drifting to his nose. He hissed and gritted his teeth together, every muscle on his body screamed for him to go and kill the humans but he had to wait for further instruction from Axel. Axel didn't seemed to be affected by the smell. "I've already had my share in blood," He explains. He gestures to Riku and Khaalida to go. "This is the only time I'll be generous, got it?" Axel warns more to Khaalida than Riku, his eyes narrowing. Riku didn't have to be told twice and took off, his fangs glistening and eyes glazing with hunger.

Hinami had indeed did the same, a bit slower than Draco . She glances around seeing no one. Another wail pierced the air making her wince.

Riku had also felt like Khaalida. His mouth watered at the thought of human blood. Unlike Khaalida though, Riku allowed his vampire side out. His fangs poked out of his lips and his pupils were dilated. "Count me in," He says, his voice husky. Axel simply nods and jumps out a nearby window, landing gracefully on another building. Riku followed, his stiff leg making him slow but he payed no mind to it. The only thing on his mind was the thought of warm, thick blood.

Hinami keeps moving, the cat no longer her main focus. We're reaching the end of the city... She gazes at a few buildings, tilting her head. Can they be in there?? She pulled from her thought as a shriek pierced the air causing her eyes to widen.

Riku begins to move towards Khaalida but Axel's cold gaze held him back. He watches Axel smirk at Khaalida's submission before turning away. "Enough of this then. We have to go. Can't leave the King waiting." He says glancing at both vampires. "There is a small camp not too far from here, we can join them." Riku absently bit his lip. There has to be a way to avoid this... "Axel," He begins but is cut off by a shriek that seemed to come from outside. Riku blinked in confusion. A human? Axel huffed in annoyance. "Like I said, there's a camp near here with a few livestock. I guess one of them managed to escape." A sadistic grin dances on his lips. "Who wants to hunt?"

Hinami keeps a slow pace, stiffening as she sees a frail looking cat a few feet in front of her. The feline hissed at Hinami before bounding away. She gazed at the cat, the mangled critter reminding her of the calico she used to have before the disease struck. Teacup... Hinami immediately shakes her head to clear it.

The white-haired vampire nods, a bright smile on his face. "Ah, that's understandable. Also..." The smile vanishes almost instantly and before Riku could even try to aid Khaalida, Axel hastily grabbed the female vampire by her scarf and slammed her against her the wall. "That's not the proper way to respond to a higher class," He hisses into her face, their noses almost touching. Riku takes a step forward. "Alright, Axel. That's enough." He says, not daring to try to pull his friend away. "She has been out for quite some time..." Axel scoffs and steps back but before giving Khaalida a final shove in which Riku flinches slightly.

In the corner of her eye, Hinami sees Draco smirking. I guess he's excited... She kept her eyes back on the road in front of her. There was no human footprints in sight. Makes sense, the vampires would want to keep themselves hidden.

Riku mentally grunts, seeing where Khaalida was heading. She's turning the questions on him but Axel isn't easily intimidated by such things... He watches his friend simply smirk at Khaalida's question. "I figured since Riku is the type to roam around and not stay at his post. It would make sense that he would be far away." Axel replies smoothly. "And...the news was sent yesterday." He adds.

Hinami nods and stands, a look of determination on her face. We're almost on to them... She begins to walk again, this time keeping a sharper look out and ears peeled.

"Ah, yes you two keep repeating 'patrols'. I guess you didn't hear that all the patrols have been called back to the base for special announcements?" Axel shrugs. "Honestly, I don't even know but that's why I'm all the way over here. I was finding you," He turns towards Riku. After what Axel said, Riku's stomach sank. How are we going to do this? We can't explain why we can't go, its direct orders... Riku forcefully nods. "Really? We didn't hear the...news. Right, Khaalida?" He says and takes a glance at her.

Hinami withdraws her hand from the cold neck, glancing at Draco. A vampire could've have passed by here... She thinks as she stands up.

Riku held in a sigh of relief, noticing that Axel's expression softened. "Humans, pesky little things aren't they?" Axel notes, glancing over at Riku. "You lost your edge, brother. Its been far too long since you had any proper training." Riku scoffs and crosses his arms. "Says the one who always skipped them," He retorts, grinning. Axel chuckles but quickly regains his posture once again staring hard at Khaalida. "You know...I've never seen you before..." Axel takes a step towards Khaalida and Riku has to stop himself from taking one as well. He eyed his friend not knowing what to expect.

Hinami peeks through another doorway, scanning the ground for footprints. After finding nothing, she kept moving noticing something behind a huge piece if rubble. What is that...a foot?! Hinami quickly approaches it and sees a human body face down. She checks for a pulse, sighing as she finds none. A vampire probably drained him...

Riku waves off her concern, forcing a smile on his face. "I'm alright. The floor gave away and I fell." Axel snickers at Riku's explanation but his eyes stay hard, not leaving off of Khaalida. Riku went over to stand next to his friend. "Khaalida, this is Axel. And Axel, this is Khaalida. I'm escorting her." He says. Axel nods, not offering his hand to her. He's trying to see what he can make of her... Riku thinks, glancing at the taller vampire. Axel grunts and rubs his chin. "And may I ask why he is escorting you...Khaa-li-da?" He asks saying her name in a sing-song voice, his crimson eyes glinting. Riku presses his lips together and swallowed silently.

Hinami stops walking thinking that she heard a rustling movement. She tilts her head no loner hearing it anymore. It was too soft to be a human or a dog so she figured it was another mouse so she kept moving.

The white haired individual smirked down at Riku and helped him up. "The one and only," Axel replies. Riku rubs his arm and glared at the other vampire. "Did you have to twist it?" He growled. Axel simply chuckled and patted Riku's shoulder. "And that's how you greet your friend?" He asks, pretending to be hurt. Riku smirked at this. "It's good to see you, Axel. You just startled me, that's all. Axel nods at this, his face turning serious. "Where have you've been?" Riku stiffens, not knowing how to answer. You know, just trying to get as far as possible from vampires and humans... To make matters worse, Khaalida voice echoed in the room they were in catching Axel's attention. "Who's that?" He asks, his eyes narrowing slightly. Riku thought quickly. "A vampire I'm escorting," He replies rather hastily. Axel nods once again, his features not getting any softer. "Really?" He says and walks back where Khaalida was. Don't attack, Khaalida... Riku prays and follows nervously.

Hinami passes by a door that was pulled by its hinges and she glances at the doorway. A small mouse scurried to its hole. She simply ignored it and carried on.

Riku heard Khaalida cry out his name. I'm alright, He thinks, unable to see clearly due to the dust. He wanted to tell her to not come since it wasn't safe, someone else was with them. After a few moments, he managed to head the opposite direction in attempt to lead whoever was there away from Khaalida. That laugh sounded familiar... He limped rather quickly, his foot once again throbbing. Riku turned the corner and he saw a figure move across the doorway. Instinctively, Riku threw a punch but his fist collided into nothing. "You're an idiot, you know that?" A voice behind him said with amusement. Riku immediately pivoted around and threw another punch but the figure latched his fingers around Riku's arm and twisted it. Riku cried out and gritted his teeth, eyes narrowing. He glanced up and froze. No... "A-Axel?!" Riku stammered, a part of him happy to see his friend once more.

"Roger," Hinami says and goes to the side she was assigned to. Draco never seems to be impressed by anything... She makes sure her steps are light and nothing seems to be out of the ordinary. No sign of habitation...yet.

As Riku walks back, the floor made a loud groaning noise. Before he had time to react, the floor gave in and he fell. "Ah, crap!" He growled landing hard onto his back. Riku groaned shutting his eyes. Immediately he reopened them when he heard laughter. "Khaalida??" He moans but he already knew it wasn't her. The laugh was too deep. Riku narrowed his eyes and slowly stood, wincing during the process. I knew I saw someone...but the figure was too far away...its not a human. His stomach sank.

Hinami glances around, her eyes settling for a few seconds on each building that was still standing. "They can probably be in one of these," She says. "It would make sense so they could at least heal up before moving."

Riku skims over the papers, none of them interesting. "Humans can be so...dull." He mutters while discarding the stack. He walks over to the broken window, idly wondering what Khaalida was up to. I shouldn't have been that angry... Riku squints at the sunlight, a figure catching his attention. Tilting his head, he stares harder but nothing was there. With a shrug, Riku walks back to the desk.

Hinami slows down her pace so Draco can catch up to her. How much further? They can probably be at the edge... She kicks a pebble.

Riku reopened his eyes, the sight not bothering him whatsoever. In fact, he simply ignored it and continued his way. Up in this floor there was a lot of corpse and flies buzzing about. "Shut it," Riku mutters, their buzzing irritated his ears. He swatted one as it came close. There was another room with a broken desk. Riku approached it, noticing a bunch of papers scattered about. "Hmm," He picks one up titled 'Economy'. After examining it, he discarded it and picked up a few more.

Hinami huffs, annoyed that he once again ignored her. That's all he seems to be good at, "Yeah, lets go." She says and starts walking.

Riku doesn't glance up as she leaves, only hearing her footsteps. He sits unmoving. "Should I go?" He wonders and presses his lips together. After a few moments of deciding, Riku stands testing his foot to make sure it was good enough to walk on. It didn't bring him any pain so he made his way upstairs. As soon as he made it, the smell of decaying flesh met him. Riku closed his eyes and inhaled, welcoming it.

Minori yawned as she began to stir. She rubbed her eyes and rolled onto her back with a grunt. Another day... The demon thinks, staring at the ceiling. Her tail tip twitches slightly.

Mizu had woken up a few hours ago, excited to finally go to the pool. I didn't have time yesterday. He thinks sourly making his way to the pool. When he gets there, a huge grin settles on his face at the sight of the water. "Woo!" Mizu takes off his shirt and dives in, his legs immediately forming into a tail.

Hinami nods, sighing. "You had me worried for a moment," She murmurs and a small smile occupies her lips. She rests her scythe on her shoulder.

Riku scoffs and releases his grip; gazing at his hand with disgust and wipes off the blood on the couch. Even if Khaalida didn't mean to offend him, his blood was still boiling with anger. The topic of wanting to die bothered him considering that it reminded him about when he was still human. Riku glared at the ground, oblivious to his companion's tear.
