Personality: A big-time Pacifist and a Philosophical thinker, she travels around the region in the hopes of discovering new and great thing. She is one of those people who is constantly climbing mountains, digging and doing all kinds of things to figure out the secrets of the region (so she's basically a self-hired Archeologist). She is shy, unsocial and a bit blunt, but she is also a helpful person.
History: She had grown up in the big cities of the Sinnoh region, digging through ruins to figure out the history of ancient people and such. Even during the great storm, she would not give up her search for ancient knowledge. She did her best to protect important pieces of history during the great storm.

Suddenly there was news of a new island and how it attracted all kinds of life mysteriously. Naturally, this spurred Diana to move to it, being the adventurous kind who loved mysteries. That is how her story there began.

Personality: Atrus is a kind and compassionate soul. He will battle only as needed, but prefers to approach Pokemon as friends, much like N Harmonia. He loves music and plays his songs, often using his guitar to soothe Pokemon and people. he is keenly aware of his disease, but never mentions it unless the situation prevents him from hiding his disease.

History: Atrus was born in Littleroot, Hoenn, but even from the moment he was born, his life was guaranteed to be an uphill battle. His mother had been an unknowing carrier of a rare virus called the Reaper Virus. It was a retro virus that attacked the immune system and respiratory system as well. While his family was wealthy, his existence was a costly burden to them as he constantly needed a steady supply of suppressor drugs in order to inhibit the spread of the virus and to keep the symptoms at bay.

Atrus was never allowed to enjoy life the way others would, his parents fearful of him being at risk of so much as catching a cold, as his immune-compromised body would be unable to fight the disease off. While it meant still being alive, it wasn't 'living', not to him. He'd watch Pokemon contests, battles and other Pokemon programs, wanting to experience that life. His parents bought him a guitar to play in order to keep him busy, and over the years, Atrus became quite good at it, even writing a few songs.

As beautiful as his parent's home was and as nice as the town was, Atrus yearned to explore the world, something his parents would never allow. They worried about him falling ill and dying on his journey. But to Atrus, life spent in a gilded cage was no life at all. Even if he was putting his life in danger, he wanted to live his life to the fullest. One night, he gathered up everything he would need for the trip, including his medication, and fled.

Eventually he met Professor Birch doing field research. Concerned that the boy had no Pokemon to protect him, Birch decided to let the boy choose one of the Pokemon he kept reserved for new trainers. After spending time with each of them, the Torchic took a liking to the boy, and Atrus took her as his partner. Professor Birch also told Atrus about a boat leaving for a newly discovered region known as Atlantis. Not wanting to miss out on this once in a lifetime chance, Atrus bought a boat ticket and set sail for the new land.

Personality: While not a complete introvert, Tara prefers to hang out on her own most of the time. She's very nervous about approaching strangers, but in the company of people she feels comfortable around, she's a joyful personality. She loves being able to make others laugh and tries to help whenever she can, but freaks out if put in a place of leadership or any sort of spotlight. When confronted with stressful situations, she will usually retreat behind the pages of a book to escape reality.

History: Though she lived in Icirrus City, Unova for most of her life, Tara never ventured far from her hometown. A part of her yearned for an adventure like ones in her books, but fear of going out into the unknown always quenched it. She eventually got a part-time job working in the Pokemart. Months went by, each day being another run through the motions.

One day, however, she overheard someone talking during the end of her shift. They were talking about a new region called Atlantis and how a lot of trainers were going to explore it. Tara's thirst for adventure was awakened. She was not content with living in the same place for the rest of her life and doing the same things over and over again. Going to Atlantis might be the fresh start she needed.

She pushed through her initial hesitation and asked the person more about the region. The person, introducing herself as Professor Juniper, gave her some more information regarding where to get a ticket. Sensing Tara's interest but seeing that she had no Pokemon of her own, the Pokemon Professor offered to give her a starter to travel with her.

And so Tara began her journey, not sure what to expect but excited all the same.

These are sort of rules, but not really. These are things you need to know about this RP, so read carefully!
1. This is a Lit. RP! That means at least two paragraphs, with good grammar and stuff. Typos are okay, I make them a lot myself. But stick to the rules of writing, okay? Please?
2. You can control what your Pokemon does. You can choose their personality and actions, and stuff like that. But in a battle, if your Pokemon attacks the enemy, you do not get to choose if the attack hits or not. I get to choose if your Pokemon misses or hits, or if they strike a critical hit.
3. Walking lowers the chance of meeting a wild Pokemon. Running increases the chance, and so does cycling (you get your bicycle further in the RP). Also, if you happen to have a steed to ride on (such as a Ponyta or Rapidash), you can really cover some ground.
4. I control what the NPC or the wild Pokemon does. Sorry.
5. You can't catch a Legendary Pokemon. Not possible, since they're practically gods (Arceus is pretty much the god of all gods). However, if you defeat a Legendary (making it faint, which is very hard to do), then the Legendary will drop something and fly away. That item is a Summon item, and if you do a certain thing with it, the Legendary will come to you.

Storm. Rain, lightning, rain, thunder, floods, tsunamis, and even more rain. The lot. What was the cause of all of this storm? In fact, it was caused by a Lugia, who had gotten into a fight with a Ho-Oh for no known reason. One powerful flap of its wings can cause a fierce forty day storm, so it was obvious that there would be such a big storm that caused devastation everywhere.

However, the Lugia must have made amends with the Ho-Oh, for the storm cleared to reveal the long awaited sun. The event of the storm came to be known as The Rough Sea Deluge. Everybody recovered, reconstructing their buildings, making sure loved ones are safe, just carrying on with their normal life. One day, a cargo ship called the Atlanis was just making its way through the ocean. Then they saw land. Not a little island, but a whole REGION. The Rough Sea Deluge had lifted a whole tectonic plate from the ocean floor, creating a region that's bigger than Kanto, Johto, Sinnoh, Hoenn, and Unova.

Once the Atlantis came back with news of this discovery, people from all regions began to move to this new region in huge quantities. The region was named Atlantis, in honor of the ship that had heralded the news to the world. Something strange happened as well. The usually discreet Lapras began showing up everywhere on the seas and oceans, carrying large masses of Pokemon from all regions on their backs. These Lapras then dropped the Pokemon off onto the shores of Atlantis, and the wild Pokemon scattered to forests, deserts, and whatnot. Pokemon that could fly were soaring to this new region, and some of the Pokemon of the ocean swam to this new area.

Strange new Pokemon were discovered on this island. Nobody knows how they got there. Perhaps the very Arceus itself had blessed this land with more life. Ant thus, Atlantis, the region of new beginnings, was born.

You are a new trainer who had moved to Atlantis. You live in Vanera Town, and you have been given your starter Pokemon from Professor Bark to begin your journey. What will you experience on your way? Maybe you'll become a breeder, or a scientist, or a gym leader. If you want to set your sights higher, you can try to become the Champion of Atlantis.

Seems like a perfect life, right? Wrong. You might encounter fatal Pokemon sicknesses, trouble in many towns and cities, and even thieves who aim to steal the Pokemon of trainers. You might even meet Team Delusion, who are a band of strong scientist/trainers. They do horrible experiments to Pokemon, and possibly to humans as well. Or you may even JOIN them, goodness knows what you were thinking.
