	(I'm here!) River was in the process of reading the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy. He was on the second book. Max didn't have much to do, so he just sat in his tent, thinking. He thought, 'If anything goes wrong, I'll protect them best I can. I need to be the good guy again.' [Read more]

Max gave Dean a 'what are you even talking about, you make no sense.' kind of look. "Well, you did keep jumping in. I got kinda sick of it. By the way, are all the things you think about Christina and your balls? You seem to think of them a lot. Also, you talk too much, with things you shouldn't say. You should keep an eye on that, Dean. (Hi! I'm awake and here.)

Max woke up in his tent. 'I can't believe I passed out like that...' He thought. He got up and stretched. Then he walked out of the tent, hungry. He'd make himself something. Max thought of the good old times. Melina was nice once. Nicer than Max was before. Before...if only he could go back to before and change things so she didn't change and was still sweet, and so that they never came on the mountain in the first place. But he couldn't change the past.

Max saw Ricky fall, and fear went onto his face. Ricky wouldn't come back from that. He ran to the waterfall, and tried to find a safe way down. "No...No no no no NO." Max muttered, panicking. Ricky wasn't coming back from this. Max walked back looking scared and spooked. "He jumped...he....he jumped..." He said, in a slight daze. "He jumped down the falls...and didn't come back up..."

Max dodged and got hit in the thigh. "I expected that. You're right, you should throw me into the forest to get killed next by monsters. I'm a hindrance. But if I die, what will happen to you? I've been the only useful one when it comes to them so far, since our other power-house doesn't do anything for anyone besides himself unless Riley orders him to." He said, backing away. "Do you want to die or do you want me to protect you? Because Ricky sure won't."

Don't you know that speaking ill of the dead is frowned upon in most cultures? Maybe if you were a better doctor, you would've tended to Adrin's injuries, 'cause they were getting worse and worse. He brags about his strength, so I humbled him by showing that he is not the strongest." Max replied, completely calm. Actually, he was in a much better mood. "Don't worry, he'll be fine. Maybe a little weaker so he can't throw trees or something, but he'll be fine. Why don't you tend to him mister doctor?" Max walked to his tent and tended to his own wounds. He thought about Adrin and her wounds, and thought, 'I should probably help her, huh...' He got up and brought his first-aid kit to the tent Adrin was in, and said, "Nobody's helping you, huh. Lemme patch up your injuries, okay?" (He's nicer to women now, I suppose.)

	Max rolled out of the way of the kick, jumped, and kicked Ricky in the side of his head, knocking him down hard. Then Max got back up, nearly unharmed. "Hey, in boxing, they called me Mountain Max. Nothing could make me flinch. Good job on knocking me down, you're the first to do so." [Read more]
