They soon reached the beach- it didn't take long to reach water in Alola- and he pulled out a piece of fishing line with a bent hook and some weird lures from his hoodie pocket. Grabbing a random stick and tying it to it, he set a plastic bobber on the line and cast it out.

"I'm Doug, the Spanish Newbie with anger issues, according to literally everyone. Nice to meet you. And you are?" Pikpik cocked his head to the side at Rama, at ease but still alert. Grubbin hardly seemed to notice her, but looked at her Turtwig and chirped a greeting. Tep kept dozing. "Oh. Thanks. They're pretty cute, but I hear these three evolve to be EPIC." The ocean breeze ruffled Doug's wild purple hair, but it was like the movies where it flowed gorgeously even though it should be a mess. Somehow. "Hey, if you wanna keep talking, I was heading down to the beach to fish for some more Pokémon. Can we chat on the way?"

Doug looked up at Rama.
"Oh. Sup, cariño." He was cradling Tep like a baby now, letting the tired little Pokémon sleep. Grubbin was still nestled on his head, but was awake and making cicada-like noises happily. Pikpik was like a sentry on Doug's shoulder, diligently looking out for other Pokémon. The ocean could be heard in the distance, and Doug seemed to be heading towards it.

"CHRIST, GUYS, and I thought I was the one with ANGER ISSUES. You all are ANGST CENTRAL. Dios mio..." The grubbin on his head slowly fell asleep. "And why is everyone blushing?! This is stupid!" He grumbled. Pikpik (the pikpek) flew around, bumping into basically everyone and their Pokémon. "Well, I'm gonna go hunt some more Pokémon and NOT get into a fight over my dead grandma!" He turned and walked into the forest again. Pikpik tottered behind him, but tripped at least ten times and wasn't even in the forest by the time you couldn't hear Doug's footsteps anymore.

Doug silently stood in confusion. Tepig just quietly and happily munched his berry. Doug looked at Soleil running, then at Justin, then at Nyx, then Zoe.
"I don't even know yall, what do I fix? My pokemon-ing errors? I am seriously just trying to learn how being a trainer works, I show up, she attacks me, you glare at me, I get criticized for being a newbie when I can't help the fact that my dad didn't want me to be a trainer till now.
