"I don't know what a Hobbit is, but by you tone I'm assuming it's about as useful as a Deku scrub. Still, putting you trust in someone who is highly inadequate for a job isn't the same as optimism." Link commented. He noticed the look that Galadriel gave Slye. He had first assumed they had some familial relation, either sisters or mother and daughter, but that look told him an entirely different story. He would make note of that. "It doesn't matter though. I'all stay and help. Also, that reading my mind thing is going to get real old, real fast." Navi dimmed her glow, allowing her body to be visible. "Of course I'm sentient. I'm not just an orb of light you know." Her face was a mask of pouting, and her arms were crossed like a child throwing a tantrum. "Enough Navi. Not every word they say is meant to insult you." Link said, glancing around. "Hey, where did your Stalfos friend and the hooded man go?" The two had vanished.

Link couldn't help a frown creeping onto his face. How pessimistic could one person be? He crossed his arms, shaking his head at Galadriel. "Well, if you want to believe that, good for you. I choose to believe in a better future for the ones I care for. They will be safe, no matter the cost." He waved his hand dismissively. "Anyway, you don't seem to know much about the true nature of Majora. He's far from being simply an incarnation of evil. I'm not going to go into that story now though. My predecessor obviously was unaware of this, or else he would have hunted him down." He ignored Skye's sarcastic remark. He turned to look at Quill, giving him a suspicious look. Navi flew between them, pulsing a dull red. "Are you sure you are apologizing to the right person?" Link raised an eyebrow at her. Something about this placed seemed to be making her quite a bit more aggressive.

Link rolled his eyes. "Yes, insulting the person you want help from is definitely the best way to go about it. You're hardly being fair anyway. How was I possibly supposed to know Zelda was here? I just got here less than thirty minutes ago. That's hardly a sign of weakness." Navi snickered, flitting above his head. He shook his head in exasperation. "If Zelda is here then I guess Hyrule is safe for now, and it's my duty to protect her. Anyway, what's this about Majora? I thought my predecessor killed him? And it's called the Triforce."

Link glanced at Navi, who seemed just as confused as he was. "Isn't that what we were just doing? Before we came here we were trying to help Midna stop Ganon, who kidnapped Zelda." He shook his head. "Why should I risk my people's safety to help you in your quest? I mean, I'm sure whatever your doing is important, but why do you need me?"

There she went reading his thoughts again! He would need to talk to Navi about this later. "Umm, I'm not sure I understand the question." He said, cocking his head. He knew that there had been other Links before him, and he had a vague understanding of the multiverse from Navi. Was that what she meant? Navi perked up at the question. "Hero of Twilight. He has some weapons from the Hero of Termina though." Link pointed at Navi. "I'm just gonna go with what she said. By the way, what does your friend mean by 'join your group'? Are you expecting me to stay?"

Link was a bit surprised to find that he could now understand the woman. However he was more surprised by the woman's words. "I assure you ma'am I don't plan on making enemies. Your... Over exuberant friend is doing that job just fine." He got the impression that this woman expected to be feared, simply through her power. He realized that the woman's words meant she had been reading his mind! That was not a thought he enjoyed. Navi flashed at the group, obviously irritated. "Where do you get off threatening us, huh? And comparing yourself to the princess? As if!" Link snatched her out of the air, placing her on his shoulder. "Hush Navi. There's no need to be rude." He grinned apologetically at Galadriel. "Sorry about that. She's just a bit ruffled after your friends actions" Navi remained silent, pouting. Link extended his hand, hoping Navi hadn't gotten them into another mess. "Name's Link, Hero of Time."

In the blink of an eye Link had an arrow nocked and pointed at Quill's head. He could here a small clicking noise as Navi pounded the inside of the jar. "You shouldn't have done that." He growled. He let the arrow fly, aiming at the jar rather than the man. The jar smashed, and the arrow passed between the mans fingers, leaving a long cut across his index finger. Navi burst forth, screaming bloody murder. She flew back to Link, activating her magic as well. Four yellow triangles orbited Quill, as the Z targeting locked on. Link would be unable to miss while it was active. "Run him through Link!" She shouted. Rather than make the situation worse, Link returned his bow to its holder on his back. He he grabbed the man by his shirt, pulling him inches away from his face. "If you ever do something like that again, I won't hesitate to kill you." He gave the man a shove before returning his attention to Skye and Galadriel.

Link felt something struggling in his bag. Lifting the flap, a small blue woman with wings flew up to his shoulder. Her body radiated blue light, giving the impression that she was inside a sphere. "Hey, finally! What the big deal shoving me in there like I'm just some item?" She spoke in the Hylian tongue, which sounded a bit like Japanese. The fairy then noticed the group surrounding them. "Uhhh... Where are we?" Link shrugged. "Your guess is as good as mine Navi. I'm hoping these people can tell us." Navi nodded, flitting around Link's head. "Only one problem with that Link. I don't know about you, but I only speak Hylian. How are they supposed to understand us, and vis versa?" Link had already thought of this, since the strange metal man had asked him a question. He had no clue what he had said though.

Skin-Taker Walked over to stand beside Hoodie. He watched the man on the horse approach them, resisting the urge to break the silence. They would need a plan, that was for certain, but how could they when their thoughts were spread like a book? He shifted his cloak, while fiddling with the clasp. "So." He finally said. "What are we going to do? You always have a backup plan, right?" Hoodie shook his head slowly. "Not yet. I need to come up with a way to keep my thoughts private first. I will come up with something though. Don't you worry about that."

Link slowed as he grew close to the group. They were a strange looking bunch for sure. One seemed to be a Stalfos of some kind, wearing a patchy hat and cape. One seemed to be part machine, and one... He blinked in confusion. He had thought for a moment that it was the Princess. He could see now that he was wrong, but the similarities were striking! Dismounting, he approached the woman, who seemed to be the leader, and gave her a low bow.

(Yay Majora!)

Skin-Taker cocked his head at Quill, confused by his aggressive tone. "Don't be rude. She gave her inner darkness a bit to much leeway is all. No harm done." He shrugged. "I rather enjoyed the display."

Hoodie turned, moving a ways off from the others. This Galadriel was dangerous. Not only was she immensely powerful, she now knew about Theark. He would need to tread carefully from here on out.

Link pulled sharply on Epona's reigns. She reared slightly, unprepared for the sudden stop. She pawed at the soft grass, unsure what to do. He patted her neck, an apology for the rather abrupt stop. He scanned the area. He was definitely not on the same hill he had been a moment before. He could see a large metal craft a ways down the hill, along with a group of people. He urged Epona forward, down towards the group. Perhaps they would know what had happened

(So, can we move on with the story? I'm kind of sick of this whole, Galadriel wants to kill them for literally no reason. Why is she so much more aggressive than normal anyway? She has no reason to think that they are traitors.)

Hoodie nodded at Didact. "I appreciate the assistance." He gestured at Galadriel, while shaking his head. "Boy, I would prefer things went you way in this situation. However I'm not sure she will listen to reason."

Skin-Taker sighed loudly, shaking his head. "Are we going to fight or not? Cause if not I have better things to be doin. I mean, we haven't actually done anything wrong yet so..." He shrugged, unsure what else to say.

How many characters are we allowed to have?

Username:Neverlight
Character Name: Link
Age:19
Appearance:
Origin World: Hyrule
Species: Hylian (A race very similar to elves)
Abilities: Master Swordsman, Master Archer, Shapeshifting into a Dire-Wolf, A wide array of Magics, Shadow form which is triggered by anger.
Personality: On the outside he seems the perfect hero. Brave, strong, clever, and willing to sacrifice anything to save lives. This is, however, only the bare surface. Sure he usually sides with good, but he's still human. He makes mistakes, does wrong every now and then. After all, he's not a god. He is just a man, trying to find what is right.
Personal History: His past is a bit spotty, since he never talks about it (or at all for that matter). What we do know is that he grew up on a ranch in the country, isolated from basically everyone. He was raised, well, normal by all standards. His father had the good sense to teach him sword fighting, if only for self defense. Then one day, a small blue fairy came to him. In its small soft voice it told him he had a destiny. He would be the hero of time.
Other: He has a massive arsenal of item which he carries in his magic satchel.

(Why does Galadriel keep changing languages? XD)

Skin-Taker shifted through the Strings, reappearing about twenty feet in front of Galadriel. "Why do you even care about what we are here for? We agreed to help you in your fight. Does it matter what our main objective is?" He brandished his blade at the woman. "You think your magic is enough to kill me? Guess we'll just have to see."

Hoodie escaped the hold of Didact's power, landing firmly on the ground. "Enough threats. If you want a fight, that is what you'll get." The static grew louder, forming an almost viable field around him. "You wield the power of Elves and men. I wield the power of a god. Let's see which is stronger shall we?"

Hoodie stiffened at the word Ark. His fists clenched and he growled at Galadriel. "So much for respecting privacy! That-" He spat a derogatory word in German. "She was digging around inside my head!" How could this have happened? His mission was compromised! He was so angry, he didn't even realize that he had spoken out loud rather than through telepathy. As his fury grew, a dull hum of static filled the air. It was the same static that his master put out.

Skin-Taker struggled against Didact's power. "Since when are you the police? Put me down so I can take a chunk out of her!" He snapped his jaws at Galadriel. "Come on Princess Zelda, fight me! Or maybe your scared I'll take that skin of yours if you don't have your magic?" Attempted to throw himself at the woman, but still was restrained by Didact.

(Emily's POV)

I wasn't quite sure what to say. I lay in silence, trying to think. Was this just going to turn into another mess? I couldn't do that to myself again. I kissed him again, finally deciding my words. "Is that so?" I noticed the sun beginning to peek over the horizon. "Well, let me think over that today, and maybe you'll get a chance to prove it tonight." I winked at him, before pushing myself to my feet. I knew he would not be exactly please that I was playing the hard to get game, but oh well. I wasn't ready, so he would just have to wait. I walked quickly back to the house, hoping that Vannister hadn't woken yet.

(Dreamscape's POV)

I woke to the sound of Emily entering. I smirked at her. "Anything interesting happen last night?" She shot me a nasty look, before making a shushing motion. "Nobody can here telepathy you goose. And I'm assuming by that look, no." I stretched, yawning widely as well. "How boring." I then noticed that Vanni was not where I had left him. In fact, he didn't seem to be in the building at all!

(Vannister's POV)

I tried to keep pace with the Chief. He was quick for an old man! I had risen early, planning on putting in a bit of training before the ceremony. I had however been interrupted by the Chief. He had asked me to walk with him for a moment, and how could I refuse? He knew that I wouldn't know the process of the Dawn ceremony, so he had come to teach, and explain some of the more intricate parts. None of it seemed difficult, though it was quite a bit more intimate than I had expected. It was usually preformed by either a mother or a mate he had explained. Since I had neither of these in my species, Aurora would fill that role. "You will do fine my friend." He said with a pat on my shoulder. We walked through the center of town, where people were already setting up for the wedding. "Your ceremony will take place on the cliffs near here. We should head there now, as dawn is already upon us."

(Sorry for going dark. Internet has been spotty and work has been... Stressful.)

Skin-Taker glared at the woman. "And what are you planning to do with that, huh? It'll take a lot more than a glorified laser gun to put me down for good." He pointed his cane at her. "Now would you mind explaining yourself? I thought your little friend calmed you down."

Hoodie's eye narrowed at Galadriel. He had no doubt that the gun would kill him, probably instantly, so he needed to be careful. He quickly put mental walls up. They wouldn't be enough to stop Galadriel, but they would act as an alarm if she tried. He wasn't entirely sure whether the woman could see Skin-Taker's thoughts though. The Master had never been able to, so he just had to hope.

Hoodie moved forward, inspecting the strange suits. He couldn't help but wonder what use they would have for these things. He made sure to keep enough distance that he would not damage the things with his electromagnetic properties. His attention was drawn to Galadriel. She seemed quite a bit more pleasant now. Skye must have worked some magic on her.

"Self aware machines? And we're the ones called horror stories." Taker muttered to himself. He turned to Galadriel, gesturing to Giratina. "I agree with him. Is there some important reason we are still sitting here? What do we do now?"

Skin-Taker pulled himself and Hoodie back out of The Strings, warping a few feet to the right of their starting location. He noticed the others standing together near a pack of large robots. He slowly moved towards them, a bit wary about the machines. "What in Zalgo's name are those monstrosities?" Hoodie stood back, watching the group from afar

Skin-Taker growled at Skye, his mind a flurry of hateful words. He was about to challenge the girl when Hoddue placed a hand on his shoulder. "Calm yourself friend. Don't do something you might regret." He turned to the women, his red eyes boring into Skye's. "I apologize for angering your friend. I'm sorry to say that I cannot adhere to your no telepathy rule, only because I do not talk any other way. I will of course, respect your privacy." He glanced at Galadriel. "As long, of course, as she extends the same courtesy to me." He turned, pulling Taker with him, and walked a few meters away. "I suggest we travel tto The Strings. We must talk, and I would prefer we weren't over heard." Taker nodded. "Of course." A moment later, the landscape was gone, replaced by endless rows of strings.

Hoodie pulled back his hood, letting it fall around his shoulders. "It is good to see you again my friend." He said, his voice still highly modulated and warped. Skin-Taker patted the mans shoulder. "It is indeed! Sorry for the whole 'mistrust' thing. I thought it better if they remained unaware." A wave of Hoodies hand dismissed Takers words. "I understand, and I agree. It would be best if we continue in this act. Hopefully the elf woman will stay out of our heads though." Taker stroked one of the Strings absentmindedly. It shimmered in a rainbow of colors as his fingers ran across it. "Yes hopefully. Now why are you here anyway? I didn't expect Slender would send anyone else after me." Hoodie shook his head, gesturing vaguely with one hand. "There has been a change of plan. The Master believes that that this place hold a key to finding it." Taker was speechless for a moment. "You mean... After all this time..." Hoodie nodded emphatically. "Yes. This planet will lead us totheark!"
