Releasing eggs has been suggested and rejected in the past, like here.

You see, the ability to release eggs can become pretty abusable here - ie. It'd make dream point tasks stupidly easy, users could keep taking eggs from the lab and releasing them if they aren't rare enough, people could gain trainer points by constantly adopting a ton of eggs and releasing them, etc. It simply doesn't work well with the features already in place.

	I support this. I've seen a lot of repeat photos rank high consistently. Admittedly, it wouldn't stop people from recreating their winning photos. But, I would like to see members encouraged to create new pictures. [Read more]
