Name: Benjamin “Benji” Sharpe

Appearance:
Short in stature and rather skinny , Benjamin has soft, fluffy brown hair with a pale complexion, he has black thin stripes under his eyes that resemble thread and his left arm is a pale greyish colour. He wears thick rimmed circle glasses with an oversized beige knitted sweater with a white button up under that, his pants are a dark brown colour with plaid patterning , he wears grey argyle socks and a pair of thick , chunky based stomper lace up boots which give him an extra three inches onto his height, when i have the time i’ll draw a picture of him and attach it here when I can 💚

Age (16-19 please): 19, his birthdate is January 23rd

Backstory: Benjamin always had a knack for the creation and use of dolls and puppets , often creating them as gifts for those he liked as a symbol of his friendship. He found something about the creation of these miniature lives therapeutic and he enjoyed the marksmanship he could place into every doll often making toys for the children in the local orphanage or those in foster care as he thought it was awful that other children his age had nobody to rely on for comfort or care when he was younger. Born to his loving parents Lucy Sharpe and Miles Sharpe they encouraged him to do well in school so that he could one day become a designer of toys and clothes , whilst his parents do not have a lot of money they saved up enough to purchase him his own sewing machine which is now one of his most treasured items. In his free time he often volunteers to teach children in the local orphanage to sew and create stuff from old objects.

Personality: Benji is relatively shy and passive though he can be quite vile if you get on his bad side, he is resourceful and quite gentle and delicate often having a soft voice when speaking . He is decently smart but not nerdy , he has good grades as he hopes it will help him with his dream of becoming a designer, he is very selfless and will defend others from bullies.

Power: on the closeness scale i’d say an 9

I’ll try my best to explain his power how I’m envisioning it

Material control ;

Benji can create sewing threads from the markings under his eyes , his left arm can change from being a normal humanoid arm to a pair of fabric shears which can be used to cut fabrics (or skin) theres two possible ways for this power to be used , one is more for fighting and one shows off benji’s selflessness and his love for other people even if he is shy , first the fighting one;

The fabric shear arm can be used as a sword of sorts when closed and can be used to cut when opened , it works like a claw think like how lobster claws work i suppose the threads from the markings under his eyes can be used to tangle opponents or grab people to stop them from attacking but since its thread it can be weak and snap easy so would only be useful for a few seconds.

The more defensive way to use his power is simpler , he can use the fabric shear arm to cut skin off himself in smaller quantities or he can use scrap or any form of available fabrics , he can then place these parts onto an injured person and then use the threading he can create to sew it to the skin , it will the person whilst being attached but after it is attached it will function like normal (or example if someone lost a part of their arm he can recreate this part of the persons arm and it will be functional after it is attached) the only difference is that part will be fabric and can tear if not careful with the injury
