"Fine." DJ sighed. DJ personally didn't like eating much popcorn but everyone else was too lazy to get up and make it, so he usually ended up doing it. DJ got up and stretched and went into the kitchen to make some popcorn. He was reaching into the cabinet, when he heard a couple of footsteps. Who should it be but Italy of all people? "Italy go watch the movie." DJ commanded. "But i don't want to." Italy whined. "Whatever" DJ groaned. Guess you can't win them all, he thought to himself. He grabbed the bag of popcorn out of the cabinet and stuck it into the microwave and pressed the "Popcorn" button. DJ walked back into the living room and sat down next to Japan to figure out where they were at in the movie. Japan watched the movie with such intensity you would think the TV would explode if he stared any harder than he already was. this was odd DJ thought to himself, usually it takes more than a simple sci-fi movie to impress Japan. DJ started to fall asleep when suddenly he was being shaken awake by Italy screaming at him. DJ jumped to his feet with a shock. "What the heck, was that for Italy?" DJ demanded. "The microwave just made a loud noise!" Italy screeched. "Oh no!" DJ shouted and ran into the kitchen as fast as he could. He pulled the bag out of the microwave and smelled burnt kernels in the bag. He pulled open the bag and dumped it into the bowl. It wasn't as burnt as DJ expected it to be but it wasn't exactly what he would have considered good popcorn either. He went into the cabinet and put some extra butter on it in an attempt to balance out the overcooked kernels. After he was finished with the butter, he added some salt and brought it back into the living room for everyone to share. He handed the bowl back to Japan and when Kiku took a bite he spit it out in disdain. "This popcorn tastes awful!" Japan complained. "Sorry but it didn't say how long to leave it in for on the package, so I sorta hit the "Popcorn" button." DJ explained. "It's fine. I didn't plan on eating much of the popcorn anyway." Japan sighed. DJ took his seat next to Japan to figure out what he missed of the movie, but then the credits began. After the credits were over it was decided that they would watch a horror movie together. "Life in Japan is good. If you want to come to see the cherry blossoms bloom come to my country around April. That is when the majority of the blossoms are blooming. Its quite a spectacle to see actually." Kiki responded. "I've always been interested in Japan. Their style of art is much different than that of Europe. Although I am not very great at most art, I am able to draw Japanese characters and make origami." DJ explained. "Kiku!" Italy shouted, pasta in his mouth, "This Spaghetti is fantastic!" Italy continued his onslaught on the pasta. Since he was the only one who was actually eating any of it, he decided to eat the whole pot. "I think I'm gonna go take a nap." Italy yawned. He left the table and curls up on the floor in the living room. It was truly a wonder how Italy remained skinny when all he does is sleep and eat. Well, that's Italy for you. "So how are things going for you guys?" said Kiku. "Things are going rather well for me, thanks for asking. Been fairly busy at my house working on getting into a job I've been wanting for awhile." DJ announced. "Really? What do you plan on doing?" Japan inquired. "Since I was little, I used to dream about being a pharmacist. After living a few more years, I realized my potential in the world of application development." DJ elaborated. "Interesting. I have dabbled a little bit into the world of coding myself, but I know only a few different things about it." Japan noted to himself. Wandering where Germany was, Japan was worried. Germany has been known for being reckless in the past. He's invaded Poland twice, but America and England shut him out. It would be a pity if he were to be defeated again by the likes of them. DJ held out a cup and proclaimed "A toast is in order! To Kiku!" Everyone followed his lead and shouted "To Kiku!" Japan blushed. He didn't like having so much attention drawn to himself. "Japan's on his way over Melanie. Oh? When did Ivan get here?" DJ asked. "Mr. Russia got here while you were on the phone with Kiku!" Feliciano panted. He sat down and emptied the bottle in mere seconds. DJ was slightly intimidated by Russia, DJ having the smaller, lighter figure. DJ backed up nervously and sat down on the other side of the room. Meanwhile in Japan, Kiku was busily cooking rice and preparing to leave to Melanie's house. He hoped they'd enjoy the surprise meal he was planning for them. He started another pot of water to boil for the pasta loving Italy. As he was putting the noodles into the pot he splashed himself with boiling water, recoiling almost instantaneously in pain. He grabbed a towel and drenched it in lukewarm water. When he applied the towel to his arm, he winced in pain. He walked over toward his medicine cabinet after his arm cooled down and wrapped it in a few feet of gauze. This'll take a while to heal, he thought to himself. "So anyone want to hear a joke?" DJ pondered. "Sí!" Italy shouted with glee. "So I went to Germany for spring break, right? Well when I got there all they had to eat was potatoes and sausage. I could stand the potatoes, but man that sausage was the wurst!" DJ explained, wondering how much longer he would have to tell jokes to wait for Japan to arrive. Kiku finally finished making the rice balls and nikujaga surprise for Melanie and friends. He made Italy a healthy helping of his favorite pasta, Spaghetti. He put them in some containers and left for Melanie's house at full speed. He winced as he ran, the basket he was carrying rubbing on the scalded arm. It was worse than he initially anticipated. He decided it would be best to carry on, but at a slower pace. He looked in the sky. Deep gray clouds were starting to move in from the east and he hurried along, trying to beat the storm to Melanie's house. It began to rain slowly and Kiku kept moving on. He thought to himself, Only a little bit longer! Immediately the little bit of rain became a complete downpour. He ran the last few miles to Melanie's house and by the time he got there was completely drenched. He knocked on the door, hoping that the food he brought would be uncontaminated by the relentless rain. Italy opened the door and when he saw the container on top of the stack he shouted out in glee, "Kiku brought pasta!" "I did indeed, but I also brought nikujaga and rice for all of us too." DJ pointed to one and exclaimed, "Hey that one looks like Japan!" Italy looked up and asked DJ, "Which cloud are you looking at?" DJ pointed to a cloud just over the horizon and said "That one right there." Italy laughed and says, "It looks just like pasta!" DJ sighs and tries to let off a laugh. "Let's get over to Melanie's a bit quicker." DJ starts a full sprint not paying much attention to Italy's pace. DJ gets pretty far and soon he looks back behind him. He doesn't see Italy anywhere. He runs back quite a ways and finds Italy going at what he thought was a slow pace. DJ tried to think of a way for Italy to go at a faster pace. He realized only one thing would work. "Italy, Englands coming up behind you!" DJ shouted with no warning to Italy. Italy suddenly bolted off practically at the speed of light. DJ was shocked about how fast Italy could run when he was motivated by fear. DJ pulled out his phone and sent Melanie a text. DJ started at a full sprint again in effort to catch up to the terrified Italy. It was surprisingly difficult but DJ didn't manage to catch him until they arrived at Melanie's house. DJ knocked on the door, hoping that Melanie wouldn't be upset that they arrived later than expected. "'Sup Melanie?" DJ asked, panting heavily. "Do you know where Germany is?" Italy pressed, in fast Italian. "Germany said he would be here later, remember?" DJ told Italy impatiently. Italy was always hoping Germany would be wherever he went to protect him. "Ah! I brought ingredients for the most wonderful spaghetti!" Italy shouted with glee, again in fast Italian. DJ felt a buzz in his pocket. He checked his phone and he had an incoming call from Japan. DJ wondered what Japan could possibly want at this time of day. DJ answered the call reluctantly. Unsure if Japan will be able to come, DJ walks over to Melanie and asks if Japan can come.
