For a long time, Dragon type were among the most powerful of all Pokemon, practically on par with elusive Legendaries. They were feared and respected, and few trainers ever had what it took to properly raise these creatures. The lore of many regions was filled to the brim with these majestic monsters, stories of both love and fear. However, with the introduction of Fairy types to the world, they quickly began to lose their influence. What was a great and powerful Dragon if it couldn't even touch a 6 inch tall Fairy riding a flower?

Soon, the Dragons became harder and harder to find. Their power was practically forgotten to time.

Some, however, couldn't forget. Few trainers strove and succeeded to tame the beasts. Many of those were rallied together under one strange leader, a well spoken scientist by the name of Professor Redwood. He told them of reclaiming the future for Dragons, proving to the world what he could really do. Many donated DNA to his research, even a few eggs. Yet if you asked them, no one truly knew what exactly he was doing with all of it.

You are a strong trainer from the nearby Trainer School in Jubilife City, Sinnoh region. A mysterious letter has summoned you to a strange research facility outside of any city limits, without any known routes to or from. It offers a large sum of money and a mysterious surprise, so for whatever reason, you accept. What you never expected was that you would be signing up for genetic experimentation.

As stated above, your character was a trainer at the Trainer School in Jubilife City, Sinnoh region. After receiving a mysterious letter, they decide to accept the invitation to visit a mysterious lab off the beaten path within what you might call the "mystery zone". There experiments Professor Redwood, who they may or may not have heard of. Unknowingly by showing up, they agreed to a bit of genetic experimentation. Essentially, they're gassed and knocked out, and while they're under they are given the genes of a Dragon pokemon, and their own pokemon are "confiscated" or rather, stolen and kept as leverage.

The crazy idea of the professor is to create the ultimate life forms, pokemon human hybrids known as "gijinkas" or "pokehumans". Your characters task is to break out, stop whatever crazy plan Professor Redwood has that may or may not endanger the entire universe, and hopefully save their pokemon and maybe even become human again. You game?

RULES
Show hidden content

-This is a literate to advanced literate RP, meaning I expect well thought out, neatly written posts with at least a paragraph about the size of those in the description above. Writing more than that is always appreciated. I understand grammar and spelling are rarely perfect for everyone, so I don't mind mistakes here and there as long as they don't make the post hard to read.

-No "god modding" (creating invinsible, all powerful characters). It is understood that many of the characters here will be quite powerful, but no one can dodge every attack thrown at them.

-No "power play". Basically, don't control other people's characters in your own posts. Leave that to them to prevent mischaracterization.

-Yes shinies are cool. However they are not common. While I will accept one MAYBE two shinies, please, let's not have a whole big team of shiny pokepeople.

-The password is Zwei. Please remove it once I accept you.

-If you have a problem with someone else or someone else's character, for the love of Arceus don't just ignore their posts, don't call them out ooc or ic where everyone can see you, and don't go about doing everything in your power to kill off their character. Please work out your problem civilly with them out of character, and if problems can't be solved between the two of you I may be brought in. I reserve the right to remove characters and roleplayers if the need arises.

-Yes your character must be A DRAGON. One dragon. No legendary dragons, Mega X Charizard (sorry, it's not a dragon when it isn't mega), and no crazy Flygon-Altaria-Hydragon hybrids.

-I highly suggest 1 character per person. If you think you can handle it, and REALLY want a second character, you may have up to 2, but try to make sure you don't limit yourself to interacting just between your two characters.

-Characters may be part of the lgbtqa+ community, I am totally okay with gay, queer, trans, bi, pan, ace, aro, etc. characters. Please not too many of these, although I won't limit this like I will shinies. And if possible, please avoid discriminating against these characters. I understand some characters may not know how to react or may be less understanding, but I ask that we try to avoid that for the comfort of some here.

Eve watched the two younger eeveelutions stroll through the forest from one of the lower tree branches. Her bright blue eyes studied them as the the griffeon, Aria, rejected the tourist attempting to pet her. After a few moments of continue to hide in the foliage, she decided to make her appearance, carefully scaling down the tree trunk with her claws much like she use to see pachirisu climb. "One tourist generally isn't a problem," she spoke as she made the ground, sitting silently on a patch of moss and licking one paw to clean behind an ear. "The little humans are the problems, and they always come in big groups or with the bigger ones. They'll pull on your tail and try to pick you up. I suppose you can chase them off if you don't like them, but I find they make life more enjoyable."

Eve sat on one of the wooden roofs, blue eyes looking down at the group of tourists with their cameras. Many of them were focussed on a young group of Eevees toussling, but one of them happened to look up toward her. There was a bit of confused chatter, was it a umbreon? With a lazy yawn, she stood up, showing off her double ended tail. Carefully, she jumped down, weaving her way through the crowd as many of them reached out to pet her, before clearing the area and disappearing into the denser forest. There, her personal daily appearance quota was met. Now she was off to roam the area outside the village.

I want to be apart of Cherrywood!

[ Username ] Mituna
[ Character Name ] Eve
[ Breed ] Espeon
[ Gender ] Female
[ Appearance ] image by pfq user Zan
[ Personality ] A bit stand-off ish. She's doesn't actively seek friends but those who dare to talk to her actually find her polite and pleasant. However, she isn't afraid to speak her mind and honestly sees nothing wrong with telling you the harsh truth, not to hurt you but simply so that you can know.
[ History ] She was breed by an experienced trainer, to an umbreon mother and espeon father. As an eevee she was originally thought to be a shiny, with a thick, dark grey cloak, but once she evolved all black she was classified as a melanistic coloring. She was trained heavily before the trainer died in a tragic accident. Because he knew a rare coloring like hers was sure to draw unwanted fighting over her, he had in his will to donate her to the island, where she's been for only a few months now.
[ Password ] Glaceon tbh
[ Other ] Nothing as of right now!

:O That'd be awesome~

Wait... woah woah woah. Is that... Is that who I think it is under there? I don't know if this is a spoiler, but is that an event under there as opposed to an actual pokemon? I won't spoil what I think I see in case I'm right...

Ash's pikachu?! *super excited now* And now I'm going to have to get to that honey tree... That thing always seems to take hours for ANYTHING to show. Went 5-6 hours once with nothing and finally gave up and went to bed. Better wait until tomorrow morning my time...

Can't wait for the questing though! Is "Yammy" a mistype, though? Shouldn't it by Yummy, or is there something I don't know...???

Happy that she was able to have a healing type, Gliz struggled to hold back a huge smile. But when asked why she would want it, the urge subsided. "I... I've lost a lot of people that were important to me. If I could have healed them, maybe I... maybe things would be different. I don't want to watch anyone die in front of me again because I can't do anything to help!" she explained, staring at her paws with a scowl. So many images flashed in front of her eyes, none of them pleasant. Looking back at Lunaro, she did her best to hold her head up tall and proud again, like she'd always been taught that a Glameow should. "I'll do whatever it takes to learn it. I swear."

Gliz had hesitated, suddenly the picture of the tyranitar having flashed through her head. Sure it was power, but an elder once told her that with great power comes great responsibility. Could she really handle it. But soon the image was replaced with one of the great fire. Gritting her teeth, she came back to reality to see Lunaro healing a Keldeo that had appeared. Her eyes widened, and she bounded over, close to the Poochyena, any thought of the disgusting dog scent far from her mind. "That! That's what I want to do! Please, teach me, assess me, whatever it is! I want to heal like that!" She pleaded desperately, from the bottom of her heart. If she could help others, maybe she could make up for it, maybe her phantoms would finally leave her...

"Don't get me wrong either, I'm not fond of you dogs in any way," Gliz sat down on her haunches, picking up a paw and inspecting it for a second before giving the pad a few quick licks. "So of course I hesitated. Associating not only with a Poochyena, but also Zorua? It's not my idea of good company. As for the power..." she hesitated, putting her paw down and looking the Poochyena straight in the eyes. "When you say it like that, it sounds greedy. I'm here for the power, yes, but not in some twisted, sinister way. However, my reasons are a bit personal, and I'd prefer not to share." In her mind, she heard the terrified shrieks again, the pleas for help. The ruckus of many pokemon, and the crackling of fire was loud enough to really hurt some of the pokemon with more sensitive hearing. Although Gliz kept her calm look, her next blink was a little slow, and her breath slightly shaky, as she forced away the shadows of her past. "If you don't mind an feline like myself, I would very much appreciate it if you would allow me to join the Chrystanigh."

Gliz arrived back at the edge of the clearing to see the Poochyena was Dragon-type now. It seemed she was giving the power to the Gallade from earlier. Keeping to the bushes, she just watched for a bit, fascinated. The Latias was here now, and some Shuckle she hadn't noticed before. The Zorua was there, though the Treeko was missing. Her whiskers twitched in the light breeze that made the leaves rub up against her. Taking a deep breath, she stepped out. It was so odd, she hadn't realized how use she was to just observing until now. To actually join in something was... uncomfortable, slightly. She'd had a random Xatu come up to her once not long ago and pronounce some reading. He said that the trauma in her past made her closed, and she should open up a bit. Maybe that dumb psychic type had been right.

"Uh, sorry I'm back. Did I mention I'd like to join the last time I was here?" she asked, in her usual bored, flat tone.

Gliz sighed, looking at the obviously still frighted Suicune. Seeing the Latias leave, seemingly back in the direction she had come from, though since it had gone invisible she couldn't be sure, she remember the Chrystanigh Poochyena. Coming up nearly nose to nose with the legendary. "Hey, look, I have some people I was talking to earlier. They might be the key for me to be able to make up for some things in my past... I'm going to go talk to them, and I promise they're all nice pokemon, like that Gallade. You can come with me if you'd like, so you don't have to be all alone here." With that, she took a step back again and turned around, trotting slowly back to the group so the Suicune could follow if it wanted.

She had to become a Chrystanigh. If it was true... She could... Her heart beat pounded in her ears at the thought. She'd finally would have power, more than she could ever imagine being such a plain normal type. Even if she reached level 100 at this rate, it would hardly matter. That Everstone around her neck had weighed heavy for a long time, the idea of power coming with evolution. But she wasn't the vow breaking type.

"E-eh?!" Maggie felt her face flush. Had she given it away? Oh no, when Giratina recovered, he was bound to be mad... I-it could go very badly. Once before there had been a pokemon that found out. At the memory, her whole body shook a bit. Not to mention, if Aurora really hosted Dialga... No wonder Giratina had seemed upset earlier. But also that Gardevoir? Goodness, so many. It made her a bit dizzy to be realizing all of this now. With her brain running a million miles an hour, she began to feel exhausted. Maybe it was her burn, though. She knew well that burns could sap the energy slowly out of a pokemon, Will-o-Wisp being one of her own moves. "I- I'm tired..." Maggie muttered under her breath, just to herself. She let her hat fall low over her eyes, floating a little lower. But if she slept, Girtina would recover, too. What would happen then?

Rinny was quite surprised to hear this. Legendaries? They had disappeared when the humans pushed so far. Seriously, wasn't there some set of four that were supposed to protect pokemon from exactly this? If they still existed, they clearly were doing a terrible job. Coballion and Virizon and Keldeo and Terrakion, that was it. No one had seen them in so long... If they still existed, he doubted he would be scrambling for his life, fighting evolution just to stay out of site. Clenching his paws and teeth, his head pounded a little. No, the legendaries were with no one. He'd given up on those stories his mother had told him when he was very young. Nobody was going to come and save them from this tyranny, he just had to watch out for his own tail. Quite suddenly, he stood up, and silently retreated to a darker corner. He was just here temporarily until the humans gave up on finding him. Then he would leave these crazy pokemon to their little fantasies.

Jacob had felt the presence enter the park, and casually took a seat on the ground against a tree in the shade. "Hot..." he muttered, wiping his head. "So that's her, huh? You know what could convince her better than anything, just show it to her! I've never felt power that strong, even from us travelers. There's no way she's not destined to become one of us, so it couldn't possibly go wrong, right?" Smiling up at the others, he pulled out a can of cola and cracked it up, sipping it. Thankfully it was still cool.

"I wish I could've met her!" Cali stretched her arms up and arched her back, rocking onto her heals. "She looked nice! If you don't mind, could I talk to her next time? I bet we could be really great friends!" Her arms crossed in front of her, fingers laced and pointed toward the ground. "But wow! You were brought on at five! I'm such a late bloomer..." she commented naively.

Gliz had been approaching the Suicune slowly, her head ducked down a bit. It was so young! Such a low level! The bubble would probably do nothing more than get her a bit wet. When the Latias appeared out of thin air, obviously invisible before, though, she froze. Two legendaries?! The Latias made a bell sound, and her heart fluttered a bit. So that's what she heard, she wasn't going crazy! What a relief.

Hearing the Gallade approach, she looked over her shoulder. Smiling, she looked back to see the Latias disappear at his voice. Continuing forward, she went right up boldly to the young scared legendary. "My name is Gliz, I'm a Glameow. Like Latias said, no one here wants to hurt you. I heard you crying, and I just had to see if I could help. Speaking of, are you already hurt? Or just lost? Maybe I can help, I know my way around."

"Hm, that was unexpected," Gliz sighed. "I meant no harm, really. The truth had to come out some time, and it's no surprise you already suspected something was up if your truly a Chrystanigh. Maybe I was a little blunt though..." shifting her weight uncomfortably, she finally rose to all fours as the Poochyena left. Looking over at the Treecko, she tilted her head. "Hey kid, you're the one That Zorua was saying she pulled one over on, right? Glad to see she didn't fool you this time. What's past is past, though. On another note, do you know of any Pokemon around here who wears a bell? I keep hearing it, but it's not a consistent sound, like it would be if they were walking really moving at all. Maybe I'm just going crazy, though," she laughed with a small purr, though inwardly she hoped for some confirmation that she wasn't hearing things.

However, when a new voice broke the quiet from a distance that only pokemon with hearing as sensitive as hers could pick up, she perked up. Whoever is was could be no more than a child. At night she'd been fooled several times with this trick by ghost pokemon, but it wasn't night now. Besides, even then she'd never hesitated to find the source of the calls. Looking back at the other two pokemon, her ears still flicked out to listen to the calls, she gave a short nod. "Please excuse me, but I'll be back. Don't worry, I want to be a Chrystanigh too, but somethings are higher up on my agenda." With that and no more explanation, she took off toward the sound at high speed. It couldn't be too far, but yet she felt like she couldn't get there fast enough. The voice had stopped, but she remembered about where it came from. Drawing close, she stopped and listened again. The sound of a small pokemon crying could be heard. Approaching more slowly now, she carefully called out. "Hello? I heard you earlier. I'm Gliz, please don't be frightened..." Almost as soon as the words were out of her mouth, she finally came into site of the pokemon. A dog, but not like any she had seen before. No, this was definitely one of the legendary pokemon that she'd heard many myths of. The blue fur and purple mane... It had to be Suicune. Stopping dead in her tracks, she blinked a few times. Could this be another Zorua? It wasn't a Ditto, for sure, because those had a distinct smell. It was so real though... Maybe a Zoroark?

Gliz looked away from the scene quite suddenly. She'd heard something, like a bell. But it was so close, how could a Pokemon wearing a bell sneak up on her like that? Sure, the scene was interesting, but there was no way she'd let her guard down to that extent. Not to mention, nothing was there. Was she going crazy? A Poochyena with wings, and now sounds connected to nothing. Remembering that last time she'd seen one of her kind go crazy, she winced. The poor guy couldn't stop shaking and screaming about fire and names she knew only too well. No, it couldn't be catching up with her now, she'd gotten too good at not thinking on all of that. There was no way she was going crazy.

Taking a shaky breath, she composed herself and lightly hopped down from the tree, only making the smallest of sounds. "Before you puff your fur up into a fighting type, Yappy, I'm not here to attack anyone. Actually, you've peaked my curiosity. I grew up with the legends of the Chrystanigh, never really was sure whether to believe all the hype or not. Gotta say, though, a pup with wings and everything thus far lends itself to that. I'm not fond of dog Pokemon, and working with two never really was on my agenda, but I think this is worth it," she purred glancing at the "pichu". "Oh! Sorry, you didn't know about that. Don't you think it's time to stop playing pretend over there?" She smiled, a bit tauntingly.
