The door slammed open and in walked Akuma. Her hair was wild, and she had a cut across her cheek just under her eye.

"So, got some new rookies, eh? Nice to know."

She held out her hand and a knife dropped into it. She began cleaning her nails

"Is Chestmaster here? I need to see him about a new mask. I had to smash my other one over somebody's head."

She grinned, and the knife disappeared. She leaned against the wall, and took a cigarette out of her pocket. She held out her hand again, and a lighter was there. Lighting the cigarette, the lighter disappeared.

Neko gasped, smiling as she fell back. The shards sank in, disapearing into her skin within moments. For a moment, time froze. Neko hung, suspended in mid air. Suddenly time resumed, and she began falling again. She stopped before she hit the ground, glowing brightly, falling to her feet, she raced over to Tashi and Zuzu.

"Are you OK?!?"

She gasped, dropping to her knees beside Tashi. She paused.

"Petrichor?"

Neko dropped to her knees, clutching her head. A raw throated howl escaped her lips, as she was unable to hold it back. It was as if liquid fire was coursing through her body. The starlight exploded in a mass of gleaming shards, a slow motion action in which Neko looked up, surprise filling her expression. Stretching out her hands and pulling them backwards all of the shards came strait for her. She closed her eyes as the glittering pieces of starlight impaled her.
