04Like most of
the world I'm pretty much addicted to Pokémon GO. It's so weird to
see something I've loved since I was a little kid suddenly become
popular again. That's happened to me twice now this year... Star
Wars and Pokémon. I'm certainly not complaining; it's really nice
to be able to talk about my favorite things with people!
I picked Charmander as my starter on PokéGO. Charmy is actually my least favorite Kanto starter, but I already knew I was going to choose Team Valor (THE ONLY CORRECT CHOICE OF COURSE) and it seemed fitting. Plus, fire types seem kind of rare where I live. Squirtle and Bulbasaur have been sighted near me. When the game came out, I was actually on vacation in the middle of the desert with no phone/internet service, so I was really surprised when I got back to Las Vegas and had a billion texts from my friends asking me if I have the game/who I picked/etc. I was so pissed that the game came out while I was gone but it's all good now lmao My vacation was great though. I was at a lake in Arizona with some family that I don't get to see very often. One of my cousins loves Star Wars as much as I do which is a miracle tbh! She is even cool with the Problematic Thing™ that I ship ayyyy Other than that I did a lot of wakesurfing, wakeboarding, & tubing. It was fun. I'm happiest when I can actually convince myself to go outside and enjoy time with people. I should do that more often. [Read more] |

02today was
100% the best day of my life so far aaaaa I had so much fun!!
It was the second day of Sakura-Con, the anime convention in my city. All day I had people yelling "KYLO!" at me, which makes me happy. Someone yelled across the hall at me "WHY DID YOU KILL YOUR FATHER?" and then they started chasing me???? and I saw it was a Leia cosplayer so I just ran lmao people were laughing :') My friend took a picture of me and an awesome Matt the Radar Technician, as well as one of me and a super cute Rey. I'm hoping she will send the pictures to me soon so I can post them here. I kept on seeing that Rey randomly throughout the day and so I would always yell "YOU NEED A TEACHER" at her and she would turn and look at me and yell back "SHUT UP KYLO" She also gave me a fake rose and then informed me that she found that in the trash can and thought of me... scavengers are so weird ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Then I went and had dinner with some friends I haven't seen in a while, and no one else was in cosplay except me (because I didn't want to change and then change back like they did because my armor and robes take a long time to put on) and they told me that I look so emo yes I am emo thank At the end of the day was a Star Wars photoshoot. We took a lot of fun pictures like all of us Kylos hugging the one Darth Vader cosplayer, and one of a Hux cosplayer yelling at me. o: Then, because almost all of us had glowing lightsabers, we crashed the rave that was going on nearby and made a big dance circle with all of our lightsabers. Then the entire rave was centered around us after that lmao Then after the rave was over we just talked for a long time about Star Wars. omg... I never get to talk about Star Wars with anyone IRL and I am... just... SUCH A HUGE STAR WARS NERD UGH so it was so great and it totally made my day!!! THEN on the way home, my brother and I were waiting for the light rail train, and the security guards saw my cosplay and started freaking out about Star Wars so I got to talk to them about it too!! One of them asked me if I think Rey is a Kenobi or a Skywalker so I told them. c; and now it's 2am and I can't sleep because i am SO HAPPY and so excited to go to the last day of con tomorrow and cosplay as Kylo again and see my new Star Wars friends aaaa I can't contain how happy I am!!!
