The rest of the shepherds finished packing and then they took down their tents. "Oh, Father! Over here! Come with me a minute!" Morgan yelled from a little bit away from Colin. "What is it, Morgan?" He asked walking over. "Oh, nothing. Let's just take a walk, shall we? While we wait for X to come back? Right this way, Father!" She said. "You're acting very strange, Morgan." Colin observed. Allllmost... Just a couple more steps... Morgan thought. "...Huh? A pitfall? Now that's a classic!" Colin said, laughing a bit. "Dang! How did you know?! I was super careful in disguising it. It didn't look suspicious at all!" Morgan yelled. "True, your work on the pit is first class. But your odd behavior made it obvious. Subterfuge and misdirection are half of any good trap, Morgan." Colin explained. "Dang. I'll get you next time! By the way, as long as you're here, mind helping me fill this hole in? If someone fell in by accident, they could really hurt themselves." Morgan said. "Wait, how deep did you make it?!" Colin asked, scared.

Colin and Cordelia were packing, then heard X. "Hey, for once somoene was nice enough to not barge in." Colin said, then turned to Cordelia, when she said "And it happened to be the only time where we weren't doing something..." She paused. "Awkward." Colin finished, and Cordelia smirked. Colin headed to the tent flap. "Anyway, I should go tell him it's a good idea." He said. "We're almost done anyway." Cordelia said. Colin walked up to her and kissed her check. "Be right back." He walked out, to go find X.

~A Few Minutes Later~


Colin found X and Told him "I think it's good a good idea, but take Stahl, Sully and..." He thought a moment. "Lissa."

Colin woke up the next day to a face full of red hair, as usual, even though it's happened every morning for the past 2 years, he never got sick of it. He slipped out of bed and got dressed and began to pack up the things to fold down the tent. It was rather handy, everything in the tent folded town and rolled up. The more fragile stuff was take by the shepherds themselves, But that consisted of very little of their belongings. "Good morning." Cordelia said, stretching. "Good morning to you too." Colin replied. He continued packing their things. Cordelia snuck up behind him and whispered something. He turned around and kissed her. Colin looked at the tent flap. "What is it?" Cordelia asked. "This is usually the time Frederick or someone bursts in the tent and interrupts us." Colin explained, and Cordelia giggled. "Well... now we're uninterrupted..." She started. "for the first time in a few months." Colin added. Cordelia tackled Colin to the bed. "Sir are you-" Cordelia let Colin up. "I knew it was to good to be true..." Colin muttered. Fredrick just stared for a momenet then said. "Milord would like you to finish packing, we leave in an hour." He said, then left. Colin let out a deep sigh. "Fredrick bursts in. Again." He said, then continued packing with the help of Cordelia.

"Fredrick," Colin turned to him. "I want a full headcount." He felt something he took from a risen in his pocket. "I have to do something." He walked away, then took it out. It was a second seal. He threw it into the air, there was a blinding light, and when the faded Colin was wearing lighter armor, much like Cordelia's. He took a deep breath. "Much easier to breath..." He walked back to his tent, but Fredrick stopped him. "Sir, all the Shepherds are accounted for, several are wounded. Maribelle, Lissa, and Libra are tending to them now" "Good Fredrick, but now I'm tired. I've had a really long day." Colin said, slipping into his Tent.

Cordelia tried to get up, but she fell back down. "Hold on." Colin told her. "I got you." He picked Cordelia up and Carried her to their tent, which was barely damaged in the fight, and placed her on the bed. He kissed her, "Rest well, I'll be back in a second." He walked out of the tent and drew his sword.

One of the people who came in with Severa gave X a sword. "L-L-Lissa can you heal her?" She turned to him "I can, but your gonna need to pull out the arrows." Colin flinched at that. He grasped the arrow, and he gave it a small tug, Cordelia screamed in pain. I'm not sure I can do this... He pulled harder and it popped out. "One down..." He said, then Lissa quickly moved her staff over the wound and it healed. I'm sorry Cordelia... He grabbed the next one tight and pulled up, after a lot of screaming it came out. Lissa moved her staff over to her other wound and healed it. "T-T-Thank you Lissa..." Colin said softly. Lissa got up and left. "Cordelia..." She was unconscious, "I love you." He picked up her head, and kissed her lips. Colin was surprised when she kissed him back. "I love you too." She said.

An ax flew right into the head of a risen X was fighting. "Here comes the reinforcements!" Colin yelled righteously. Cordelia and Colin fought and killed over 20 risen. "How.. How many are there!" Cordelia asked weakly, they were surrounded. then an arrow flew by Colin's head. "Gaaah!" The arrow hit Cordelia in her sword hand. Another one hit her in her leg, and she fell down. So... this is the end... Colin thought. "Huh huh haaaaaa! ♪ " A pegasus knight flew out of the woods and and impaled 5 risen. "Nailed it!" Another person apeared from the woods “I challenge my fate!” She sliced through what must have been 10 risen. "Whatever it takes." Severa finaly steeped from the woods. "I've had enough!" She quickly zipped into battle and slashed down the risen surrounding Colin and Cordelia. "Thank you, Severa." Colin said. "Ugh, its no anything special about you, beside that if you two are killed then I would never be born." She then left to fight of more risen. Colin turned his attention to Cordelia who had an arrow to her leg and arm. "Cordelia..." He shed a tear. "P-P-Please be alright..."

"Do you know the way back?" He looked at the town. "I promised Cordelia that I'd buy her dinner." It wasn't long Cordelia walked up. "I'm done." She said. "Now, to more... personal matters." Colin said, moving over to Cordelia. "S-s-sir..." A wounded soldier limped out of the woods by the team. "R-R-isen attack..." He then collapsed and feel down, Dead. "We need to get to camp now!" Cordelia yelled worried, "Yeah, and also, We truly have the worst luck ever..."

Colin's team had split up to cover more ground. Let's see whats on the list:
Rhubarb (Probably for sumia's pies)
Tomes (Darn it Tharja for Wasteing them)
Reeking box (Henry! Why did you put this on the list)
Elixir (Oh, good for healing)
Gaius's confect (Candy?)

Colin then headed to a vendor selling rhubarb. 10 G! That's a deal

Colin met with a merchant that had some high priced tomes, that Colin tried to haggle down. 1000 G each for Elwind, Elfire, and Elthunder? I guess I'm not gonna find them anywhere else...

"There is someone else I want you to meet." She told Colin. "Yeah, Who's that?" He asked. "My li-" "Sir!" Fredrick walked up. "DARN IT FREDRICK!" Colin yelled then grabbed his ax and threw it at him softly, It landed by his feet. "What is it?" He asked. "Nothing. Lissa just sent me to check on you." Colin clenched his fist. "I'm gonna have to have a word with her later." Fredrick then walked away. "Da** him." He said. "Cordelia i'm so so-" She kissed him, "You know, Your cute when your apologizing." She told him. "Oooh, Is that a romance call back?" He said. "Maybe." She whispered. "How about we go to the town nearby for dinner tonight.?" He stroked his hand though her hair. "Just the two of us?" She kissed him again. "Well, I'll see you later. I promised to talked to Severa today." She then walked away. "It's kinda hard to think." He said once Cordelia had gone. "We've been married two years."

Colin saw Cordelia out of the corner of his eye. "I Yield." He got up, limping a bit. He shook his Hand, then walked over to Cordelia. "Good morning." He kissed her, and then grabbed her hand. "Where were you last night?" He asked, worried. "Oh, I'm sorry." She looked sad. "I feel asleep talking to the ladies in that tent. Several others did as well..." She trailed off looking away. "I know about that." He grabbed her chin. "Colin, I'm so s-" She couldn't finish, Colin kissed her again. "You know, your cute when your apologizing " He said, and Cordelia blushed. "Also, I met with one of your friends." He looked at her with a smirk. "Who?" She asked. "Sully's fist." He answered, and Cordelia giggled.

Colin went to throw his ax, but then jumped up and slammed on Forge's blade. He then slammed at his weapon with his shield, knocking it to the floor. He put His ax to Forge's neak. "Whatcha gonna do now?" He taunted.

Colin woke up and stretched. "Good morning Co-" He looked around. "Darn it!" Colin walked out of the tent. The morning air was crisp and cool, he looked around, It was rather quiet. Severa must not be up yet. He thought. He looked in the main tents, and then in one of the side tents, where he heard stirring. He opened the tent flap and got a punch to the face, so hard he was knocked on his butt. "What the heck!?!" He looked up and saw Sully. "What is wrong with you!?" He yelled. "No one gets in." She said. "Why?" He asked getting up. "'Female only tent.'" She pointed to a sign he didn't see before. "I'm just looking for my wife.. geez." He tried to peek inside. "She's inside." She blocked him off. "Now scram arse head." Colin walked away muttering some things under her breath. Then he saw Forge, and walked over.
