((Wahh, sorry for not posting for so long!!!)
Selene grinned at Beethoven, her one and only partner Pokemon. "I guess that won't be a problem, huh?" Beethoven clacked his beak. "No, it wouldn't." he responded carefully. "But I wonder if you get to capture Pokemon while you're there." The girl contemplated this question for a moment. "Uhh... I think so. I'll ask to make sure, though." Selene wondered if she should raise her hand to ask, like she was in school, but decided against it.

"Err, excuse me, will we be able to capture Pokemon at the Vault?" she asked tentatively.
((This is a short one, I don't feel creative today.))

Could you breed me a Chatot, please? I can pay 4000 PD, but if that's not enough, you can name your price.

The Pokedex gave off a soft whirring sound as the screen glowed a light blue. The device processed Tom's requested information, and after a short moment, the screen showed the results.
Snivy
Pokemon #495; the Grass Snake Pokemon
Abilities-- Overgrow: Increases the power of Grass-type moves by 50% (1.5×) when the ability-bearer's HP falls below a third of its maximum
Contrary (Hidden Ability): Makes stat changes have an opposite effect.
Being exposed to sunlight makes its movements swifter. It uses vines more adeptly than its hands.
Evolves at Level 18.

Then, an icon on the Pokedex's screen blinked. The Pokeradar, an app on the device, showed that Tom and Leaf are currently on Route One. It then showed a list of Pokemon and their rarity.
Rattata (Common)
Sentret (Common)
Wurmple (Common)
Starly (Common)
Shinx (Common)
Pidgey (Common)
Weedle (Common)
Caterpie (Common)
Bidoof (Common)
Patrat (Uncommon)
Pidove (Uncommon)
Plantock (Rare)
Evidently, the Plantock is one of the newest creations on Atlantis. There are three evolutions of this new Pokemon.

The woman counted out the money, not noting Tara's evident discomfort. She handed the watering can to her, a little forcefully, and intoned, "Mmhm. Your purchase has been made. We hope you come again next time." The lady's voice is deadpan and monotone, being tired from waking up so early, just to go to work.
((Sorry for this short one, Freeze, but there's not much I can do with completing the purchase of an item...))

((I am so sorry for being gone so long!! Thank you guys SO much for your patience.))
The trainer grinned at Atrus. A double battle! The young boy had never had one of these battles before, only one-on-one battles. Fortunately for him, he's familiar with the Pidgey and the Shinx, as they're both common species around here. The boy, named Sam, had seen new trainers with Torchics before, but they were still very unfamiliar with him. The boy took two Pokeballs clipped to his belt and clicked the white button.

The Pokemon materialized from a beam of red light. Sam had never quite understood how they fit in there, but he never bothered to do any research to shed light on the matter. A Wurmple looked at the Pidgey and the Shinx in front of them and blinked. The other Pokemon, a Starly, bristled in anticipation of the fight. "You go first." Sam said, as he isn't sure what to do for his first move.

The woman looked over at Tara after tapping away at something on a cash register. The lady peered at the girl over thin, black glasses. "Hello, and welcome to Mulch and More." the young woman intoned, as she always did. "You wish to buy... A Psycan?" The lady glanced at the watering can that Tara is clutching. She tapped something on the cash register.

Noting that Tara isn't holding anything else, the woman spoke again. "That will be $250, please." She waited expectantly for the teenager in front of her to give her the cash.

((You're given $1000 to start with ^-^))

There are, of course, flowers. Poppies, roses, lilies, bluebells, the lot. Not that they would be of any use in a battle. But they are rather pretty and surprising cheap. It wouldn't sap away too much of Tara's money if she bought one, but she would have nothing to do with it.

Then there are berries. Scattered around the land are many berry plots, free to use. Burying a berry will create more berries, which can create more berries. And so forth. There is almost every type of berry available. Sweet, sour, bitter; all of the flavors.

One last thing is a watering can, which is pretty much what you need to plant berries. It's shaped like a Psyduck. It's not cheap, but not expensive. You need it for watering berries, so later you can harvest them.

A trainer wandered around the tall grass. The music he had just heard faded away, and he was wondering if he had just been imagining things. The music seemed pretty real, though. The young boy adjusted the cap on his head. Not too hot, not too cool, it was a perfect day. For battling, according to this young boy.

Joey saw someone picking his way through the tall grass, towards him. Someone considerably older than him. The young man has a guitar slung around his shoulder. So that's where the music had come from. He perked up when he saw the three Pokemon traveling with him. Perhaps he wants a battle?

Anyways, it's trainer conduct to accept a battle if challenged. Joey waved him over. "Hey, mister! Care for a battle?" The boy called while fingering the Pokeballs in his hands. He has two loyal Pokemon, which he hoped would beat this young man. Although he looks strong.

The Wurmple cried out as the force of the Tackle reached it. This foreign Pokemon is stronger than it looks. The caterpillar stared at the tortoise-like Pokemon in front of it. It knew that this Pokemon is a Turtwig, but just how strong was it? It seemed bold, brave, and ready for battle, like nothing could dampen its spirits.

Perhaps a String Shot would help slow it down. The Wurmple issued a fast-moving stream of sticky webbing at the Turtwig. The white thread wrapped itself all over the Turtwig, slowing down its movement. Perhaps it could dodge the turtle's strong attack the next time it strikes at the Wurmple.

The flower shop was quite large, but it was cute as well. The walls are pink, with crisp green stripes. There are shelves an counters everywhere, and people are looking at potted plants and the like. The aroma of the shop was quite entrancing. The earthiness of the soil, the scent from the flowers, and the sweet feeling of berries, all mixed to make for a strange perfume.

A woman hurries up to you, smiling. "Oh, hello! I haven't seen you around before, you must be new here! Here, let me give you some things. I'm sure your Pokemon would like some of them." The lady hurries away once again, to return with a few berries cupped in her hands. "Pokemon like to eat berries outside of battle as well. I must go now!" The woman rushed away. Evidently she is quite a busy worker in the store.

Once again, the Rattata was caught off guard. This foreign Torchic is certainly strong. The rodent stumbled a the Scratch reached the mouse's back. The Rattata's health sapped away, until there wasn't any more. The mouse passed out for a quick moment. However, the Rattata opened its eyes again and looked up at the trainer. If Rattatas could smile, this one certainly has.

It was a pretty good battle, even though it was short. Now it was time for the Rattata to rest and return some health. But before the mouse turned around to disappear in the undergrowth, it stopped and turned back around. Perhaps he should reward this trainer for his confidence.

The Rattata disappeared towards the undergrowth, but not towards its own home. The rodent veered towards a Pecha berry bush and plucked one of the pink, sweet fruits off of the stem.

The mouse returned with the berry in its mouth. The Rattata placed it at Atrus's feet, and scurried away. Perhaps, when its strength returned, it could go find another trainer to battle. For now, though, it was timeto sunbathe on the flat rocks scattered around here. It was a nice day, after all.

The Rattata that Atrus is battling was caught completely off guard. The rodent never expected for that to happen. It didn't hurt very much, but it felt its health sapping away. The mouse started to panic. This boy, the trainer, is more strategic than it expected. Slightly unnerved now, the Rattata thought.

The mouse didn't have much HP left. A few more well-placed attacks can quickly end the battle. The Rattata decided to go for another Quick Attack. While the Torchic was still in close range, the Rattata doubled behind the bird and struck Flare with another Quick Attack. Perhaps this would catch the Torchic off guard.

Route One is a rather simple road, with only a few twists and turns. Tall grass, obviously with some Pokemon in it, rustled in the slight breeze. Or maybe it rustled because of the Pokemon it contained? The sun's rays gently shone down on the greenery, and a soft wind flowed through the grass. It was a beautiful day outside, and many Pokemon and trainers would be out to enjoy the sunshine.

The Turtwig next to Diana was rather cheery. It was nice and sunny, which was good for grass types, and some music drifted out from a distance... Music? The Turtwig perked up. Of all places, why would music be here? The Turtwig shook its head. Perhaps it was just imagining the music.

A rustle in the grass. Startled, the tortoise turned around to see a Wurmple staring up at the Turtwig in suspicion. The Wurmple's instincts told it that this Pokemon was a Turtwig, but it actually never saw one before. The bug tensed for battle against this foreign Pokemon.

The mouse was caught off guard with this fast reaction. The Torchic certainly is fast, faster than the Rattata expected. It winced at the well-placed scratch. It didn't hurt, but it did throb slightly. The rodent Pokemon thought for a moment. Yes, the Torchic was fast, but the Rattata could outrun it with a Quick Attack. Most likely, the foreign Pokemon wouldn't be quick enough to strike back. Unless the mouse is underestimating the Pokemon.

The mouse lunged forwards in a faster speed, a blur of purple against the green grass. It tackled the Torchic with a fierce Quick Attack before doubling back to its position quickly. The music energized the Torchic, yes, but it also energized the Rattata. The rodent felt energized, like it could run for miles without stopping.

Raven looked at the young man with a sideways glance. "I don't know. It's not as if I'm the leader or co-leader." she responded, not recognizing Bell as the co-leader. "Right now we're battling, for experience. Then maybe we can go to this 'place.'" Raven turned back to the girl. "Let's use all the Pokemon we've got." The girl nodded. "I have three."

Raven smiled at the Skarmory on her shoulder. Starscream immediately hopped onto the ground in front of Raven. The girl across from her took a Pokeball out of her purse. Raven eyed her opponent carefully. She was pretty, with dark brown hair that seemed naturally wavy. Her eyes are grey, and her lips are just the right shade to match her slightly dark skin tone.

The girl clicked the white button on the ball. In a flash of red light, a Pokemon materialized. A Growlithe. The corners of Raven's lips twitched, resembling a small smile. She had almost expected a Zubat, the typical choice of some young trainers. The girl looks determined, with slightly narrowed eyes and a steady breath.

"Starscream, Agility, please." If Skarmories can grin, Starscream was certainly smiling. The Skarmory pumped his wings and lifted from the ground. Then he started moving around the air in a tight, fast circle. Soon, he became a metallic blur in the air, building up speed for fast reactions and attacks.

The Level Four Rattata was delighted to see the trainer interpret its its sign correctly. The mouse was also relieved to see that the Pidgey didn't volunteer to battle it. However, the Rattata felt a bit nervous with the Torchic. How strong is this foreign character? It didn't look like it could fly, with those small wings.

The mouse flinched at the Growl, which took his offense down a little. The Rattata thought for a quick moment. If the Torchic was going to use growl, the mouse might as well as use a status move. Something to bring down the Torchic just a little bit.

The Rattata charged at the Torchic, then turned around at the last moment and thwacked its tail hard against the Torchic before speeding away, back into its position. The Tail Whip wasn't hard enough to cause damage, but it brought Flare's defense down by one stage.

((Ahh, sorry about that. Been busy with those orbs myself.))
Selene shivered as she stepped outside. Not from the cold, as the weather on this island is balmy and tropical. But from the anticipation of what's to come. Choosing a cabin seemed like such a small thing, but it really wasn't. It was choosing to continue on, to settle into this new life. Selene wasn't sure if she liked this feeling. It was a mixture of hope, and was it almost... Dread? She would figure that out soon.

The stream of people didn't walk very long before seeing two cabins in the vicinity. They weren't too close yet to see them in detail, but it was close enough to see that they looked quite cozy. Homely, almost. The word 'home' is unfamiliar to Selene's tongue. She shivered again, this time in anxious worry. What were her parents doing right now? Her little sister? Selene was already missing them. But there is no turning back now...

Five minutes. Ten minutes. Tick, tick, tick. Raven glared at the black clock on the wall. Where was the leader? The co-leader? The other in the room are sensing this absence as well. Some of the amicable chattering dwindled away into low whispers. Fine. They want leadership, they get leadership. the young woman thought to herself as she stood up and pushed her way to the front of the room.

Nobody seemed to notice as she stepped to the front and crossed her arms. The Skarmory on her shoulder grated his wings together in a sharp sound. Some people flinched at the unpleasant sound. Soon, Raven had everyone's attention. The young woman waited for a few more moments before speaking.

"Everybody, listen up. I want NObody to talk. No. One." Silence. Satisfied, Raven continued. "You don't need to know my name. When the leaders come- IF they come- you'll all probably forget about me. But right now, you all need to know me. Because right now, I'm taking charge." No sugarcoating. Raven never sugarcoats things.

"My Pokemon aren't strong. I only have three, and they're level fourteen. But I have a logical mind, and I'm going to use it at the moment. Those with level ten or lower Pokemon, group together in that corner." Raven pointed to the far left corner. "Those with Pokemon level eleven to level twenty, group over there." Raven pointed to the middle of the room. "Once we all get into our groups, we're going to battle. Gain experience. I don't care WHO you battle with, as long as that person is in your group."

"We need to know battle tactics and strategy. Besides, this is also a good way to get to know each other. We need to work together, whether we like it or not. Any complaints? The door's right over there. Team Dimension has no room for whiners."

"Then let's split up."

Everyone seemed to know leadership when they saw it, and they immediately fell apart into two groups. Raven walked to the middle of the room, and tapped a girl about her age on the shoulder. "Now, about a battle?"
