Audrey yelped and bounced over the small creature that scrambled quickly across her bare foot. "Stupid thing." She grumbled and readjusted her sleeves a bit. Her ears went flat against her head as she continued to grumble in irritation.

Kira quietly hushed Rune who continued to attempt to make noises, despite the girls objection. It finally wiggled out of her grasp and made a loud snarling sort of noise towards the humans. Kira squeaked involuntarily when the tail viciously attempted to pull the girl out of her place and towards the two. She grabbed ahold of the tree she was hiding behind as Rune continued to snarl and snap at Luc and Erin viciously.

Kira quietly made her way towards the distant voices and the crackling of leaves and twigs. Her paw maneuvered over and around anything that may make a large sound to get her spotted. She eyed the two tailless creatures with her bright eyes, curiosity getting the best of her as they spoke. Rune chuffed loudly making the fur on the back of Kira's neck stand up as she flailed her arms a bit before wrapping them around the muzzle of her tail in order to silence it.

Keegan chuckled lightly and held up his notebook for the male to see. "Research, basically you watch something and see how it lives, write down what you see. Stuff like that. It's how people find out more about things they don't understand." He informed.

Keegan's head snapped up at the sudden voice that sounded from behind him. He stood up cautiously, his eyes darting around, trying to find the source. "Who's there?" He called out softly, his facial features flooded with worry for his fellow scientists if they are encountering the same thing he is.

Kira purred quietly and stretched out her legs before hoping off of her rock. Her ears pricked forwards at the sound of cracking branches and rustling. "Too big to be food..." She murmured to Rune, her mouthtail.

Kira yawned quietly and stretched her arms leisurely above her head. Her bright eyes opened only for her to immediately shield them from the rays of light that poured through the canopy above. I should probably go hunt... Or maybe another nap? She contemplated in her mind, only to receive the sound of snapping jaws from her tail. She giggled softly and stood on the rock that she had warmed, once again stretching her arms above her head. "Food it is then!" She cheered to the fluffy tail.

Keegan crouched beside a bush to examine the oddly colored fur that had been snagged in a bush. His violet eyes examined it closely before her pulled out his notepad and not down several notes, basic details of the odd substance and a hypothesis of what it my have come off of.
