Suzume Fujimori's POV

Suzume's eyes widened. "I was just thinking that... there wasn't any odor, right? And I thought the oven might've been related to the death." How... strange it was, that she had almost arrived at Megami's same thought... "Suko mentioned that the killer might've wanted us to find the knife. Perhaps the oven was the real cause of the death."

Kowai Kurai's POV

Kowai frowned thoughtfully. "But how would figuring out the cause of death help us figure out the killer? Wouldn't it be more important to figure out who could've done it, how, and why?" They might be right, though. It could've been the oven... I guess these people do have some sense.

Femi Davis's POV

"A...are you sure we can't rule out suicide? 'Cause I don't see how you could get someone... to drink poison..."
Drinking... poison.

Forced to death...

Suzume Fujimori's POV

Suzume couldn't help but smile in Megami's direction. "Well, hydrogen sulfide is well-known for its odor of rotten eggs," she began, taking a deep breath. "If we didn't smell that, the poison couldn't have been hydrogen sulfide, unless the hydrogen sulfide was at a higher concentration. If it was, there would've been a sickeningly sweet odor in the air. Did anyone smell anything like that? And as for cyanide... tends to give off a smell of bitter almonds, if it does give an odor off, that is. Sometimes it doesn't."

"Does that add up? Or could the poison have been something else?..."

Suzume paused to think about it. Had the oven had anything to do with the death, somehow?... No... what could it have been?

Kowai Kurai's POV

Kowai decided to pursue the train of thought of the culprits. "Well! They certainly are quite close, and they could've committed a murder together. However, why would the killer need an accomplice?" she pondered. "Would the murder have required two people?"

Femi Davis's POV

Femi's head was spinning, with all the words he kept hearing. But it felt as though he was drowning, and he could barely hear the muffled sounds...

Suzume Fujimori's POV

Suzume bit her tongue and began rubbing her thumb awkwardly against her hand, and her other fingers drummed together uncomfortably. She closed her eyes, and slowly reached up and adjusted her glasses.

“Alright. So, we barely know anything about what happened. What evidence do we have, Hisoka?" she asked, nodding in his direction.

She tried not to show it, but she was visibly shaking...

Kowai Kurai's POV

Kowai stared over at Hisoka. "Yes! Tell us, Hisoku! Although... why should we go over the evidence? Shouldn't it be easy to narrow down who did it based off of who wasn't in the gym or the pool at certain times?" Unless they killed Akihiro that quickly. That's possible...

Femi Davis's POV

Femi somehow awoke from his state of unconsciousness, his eyes barely open. In his podium, he vaguely grasped it-- another trial. Another trial...

Another trial where he was useless. Wait, someone had died, and Suko had...

Oh no. Not them. Anyone but them.

Drowsily, he tried to force his head up. "Wh...what... happened?" he choked out. It was so difficult to remember... to remember...

Writing, crawling, reaching, desperately, starving, drowning, dying...

Chained here, to this podium... bleeding to death. Suko... Suko had saved him. From something.

Someone must've died. Why else would everyone be here?

But once again, he hadn't known anything... all because of his cowardly fear.

He wanted to cry. But he couldn't.

Because of him...

Someone else was dead...

And somehow, the tears did form in his eyes...

Suzume Fujimori's POV

Suzume raised her eyebrows at Megami and shrugged at her friend as if to say "Sure, why not" as they made their way over to their podiums.

She shuddered. She had to admit, Monokuma's torture methods were... disturbing. Although effective.

Kowai Kurai's POV

Kowai made her way over to her podium, gasping and shivering in utter horror. I wonder how this case will go?

Femi Davis's POV

Femi, apparently determined to be useless for yet another class trial, forced out a "Thank... you..." before collapsing on his podium from blood loss.

Suzume Fujimori’s POV

”...” Suzume’s eyes, although, normally, would head towards what she just landed on, was distracted by another sensation. Megami was holding onto her hand.

She was startled, unsure how to respond.

Pull her hand away?... No… Megami was probably very afraid right now. It would help to have a calm, collected friend’s hand to hold.

Deep breaths, deep breaths. Processing the situation, staying calm. Akihiro was dead. They all barely had any information about the murder and had little to no chance of finding the killer. Perhaps her sporadic theories would be of use here.

They’d all fallen onto a pile of body pillows, and… they catalogued the previous deaths. Was that of some importance? Was Monokuma giving a hint?

No. Of course not.

Then she froze. "Oh. GREAT TESLA!!”

Her face went pale upon the sight. Femi, chained to his podium, bleeding, bleeding, bleeding… all over the place…

She helped Megami up, by the hand. For some reason, she didn’t want to let go.

Kowai Kurai’s POV

Kowai bounced up and down on the pillows, squealing. “Wowieeee! Pillowsss!! So fluffy! Wait, where are the podiums?”

Oh, my, my. What was this?

Femi was chained to his podium… was that some kind… of punishment for something he did?

Poor, poor little lamb. So hopelessly chained up.

Femi Davis’s POV

Femi Davis could barely breathe. He wanted to scream, wave his arms at Suko, get them to get away… that is, if he was aware enough… of what was… going on…

Starving. Dying of thirst. Anemic. All at the same time…

Blood clogged his throat, and threatened to spill out his mouth, and it did so as Suko drew close. He sputtered the only words that he could form…
“H--eee---lp. Me.”

Suzume Fujimori's POV

"We might've been made to think that. She might've been baking, sure. But she also could've been doing something else. However... what would the killer have to gain by making us think she was baking, if that's the case?" She gnawed on her nails.

"Unless I'm overthinking this..."

Kowai Kurai's POV

"Weeeeell, maybe the oven's temperature served some kind of use. Although... it doesn't seem like it played any role in the death."

Suzume Fujimori's POV

Suzume swallowed nervously. She didn't like how Hisoka's face looked as he observed her cyanide. "Ah... yes. We should all empty our bags."

Her eyes widened, and she ran over to Megami, and picked her up. Again. This was getting awkward.

"Oh no... oh nononono. Megami? Are you okay?" She carefully set her down. "She's unconscious..."

Megami was... truly quite fragile.

Kowai Kurai's POV

Kowai flashed Hisoka a twitchy smile. "Oh! Fiiine! Anything for you, Hisoku!" A disarming laugh came from her, as she poured out her bag. I wish you had died instead.

Out of her bag came a plushie of a flower with a face on it (for some reason), boxes and boxes of matches, and the matches all spilled all over the floor, an assortment of sharp objects including knives, daggers, pencils, glass shards, shurikens, toy guns that looked real, and a pile of shriveled flowers. Also a lot of shredded pieces of paper.

Suzume Fujimori's POV

Suzume cupped her hand over her mouth, and nodded in deep thought as she looked at the objects falling out of everyone's assorted bags... she supposed she had to share her own. She dumped the contents of her bag, revealing an abundance of barely-filled notebooks with ripped pages, assorted pens and pencils, glass bottles that cracked as they hit the floor (much to her dismay), and a bottle full of carefully sealed cyanide.

She coughed. Oh dear. Why did she have to pack that today? "That's... a precaution. In case I find I want- a way out."

She didn't know exactly why she wanted a method of suicide at her disposal... just in case, she supposed...

Kowai Kurai's POV

Kowai's face curled into a pout. "A-Aw... do- do I have toooo empty my bag?" she whimpered.

Suzume Fujimori's POV

Suzume's eyes widened, and her stomach flip-flopped. The announcement struck her like a grenade that had instantly exploded. A sickening feeling in her chest, she ran around and about, searching, searching... who had just died?! What had happened?
Until she came there. To the kitchen.

Inhale. Exhale. Breathe, force yourself to stay calm. Why did her hands shake so hard?...

"Well," she said, trying not to look as shaken as she felt, "I guess... someone else died." She stared at Akihiro's body, transfixed...

Kowai Kurai's POV

Kowai ran right over to the kitchen, still in her swimsuit, and she GASPED IN UTTER HORROR. Not at the fact she hadn't further pretended to drown like she'd wanted to.

Oh, no! Oh nonononono! What an utter tragedy!

"AAAAAA!! Akihiro, NOOO!" she wailed. "Who could've done this!?"

🌹💐⚘ F l o r a 's Point-of-View ⚘💐🌹

Flora heard the announcement, and she was unsure how to react to it. Another crisis, another area of her life to calculate and recalculate, to figure out, to worry about, to somehow discover what to do...

Oh no oh no no no no no no no no no! Her eyes grew wide with utter horror.

She wouldn’t be against talking to members of the other Courts. But! She didn’t know them. They could be dangerous.

There was probably good reason behind why the Courts had ceased communication. Then again…

What if it was the only thing that could be done? And what might others think of her, if she did try to communicate with those of the other Courts? Maybe she could find a rational way to go about it… reason with her superiors. Subtly nudge them in the right direction.

This might be all they could do not to all get themselves killed…

Suzume Fujimori’s POV

Suzume stared at her motive, her eyes quickly flicking from letter to letter, word to word, as though they scanned the page like some kind of machine. Her stoic, metallic eyes grew frantic as she read on, and she hurriedly folded up the paper.

Her teeth clashed with her bottom lip uncomfortably, and she tried not to crumple up her motive as she folded it. She would want to crumple this, into many different pieces, so no one would ever know its contents. Oh, she might be willing to kill for this, alright…

But… would that really be worth it? Suzume Fujimori met with a moral dilemma of all peop-

Her question was interrupted, by seeing her distraught friend, Megami, seemingly barely stepping out of her recent breakdown. Hurriedly she tucked the paper into her lab coat pocket. She decided to comfort her friend… again. It seemed she was more fragile than Suzume ever thought she was.

“Megami… are you alright?” Was the motive… that shaking? She offered a hand to her friend. Oh dear. Ohdearohdearohdearohdear. What was she supposed to do in this situation? Megami seemed even worse than before.

Kowai Kurai’s POV

Kowai Kurai was BORED. She was unspeakably, explicitly bored. So there was only one thing she could do. She changed into her swimsuit, got into the deep end of the pool, swam for a while and-

She pretended that she had started drowning, and began screaming for help in a muffled voice.

Username: Dogarthsis
Aethling's name and/or nicknames/titles: Flora
Personality/Info: It’s a wonder why she’s even here. Flora is a rather kind and gentle individual, perhaps too kind and gentle. She is very fearful about everything and constantly contemplates every little thing that could go wrong. She’s terrible at interacting with people, has no sense of self-confidence, and she always tries her best to make everyone like her and fails miserably. Flora is rather intelligent, rational (except most of her fears aren’t), and creative, although she wouldn’t ever give herself credit for such a thing, and always tries to share her ideas (when she has the courage to talk about them). Perhaps that’s why she’s here. She desperately desires to be needed by other people and to be taken seriously and to be seen as talented.
Typology: My guess is she's an XNTP or an XSFJ, all I know for sure is her functions definitely contain Si, Fe, Ti and Ne in some order or other. She seems to be either a type 2, type 6, type 5, or type 9 and I really hope I get this straight in my head-
Member of which Court: The Court of Maestro Midnio
Aethling's Appearance.: A rather frail-looking, slender individual who stands only a mere 4 feet, 9 inches tall. One half of her hair is that of a faded blonde that looks the color of a withering yellow dandelion, and curls upward rather stalkily. The other half is that of a similarly faded green. Her hair is of medium length, barely reaching her shoulders, and many of the strands are uneven, presumably from her tearing it out. She has bright, huge, wide orange eyes that she usually covers up with her bangs, which are grown down the majority of her face. Her skin is incredibly pale, almost unnaturally pale. Flora’s fingers bear sharp, light-green claws at the ends, but she wears gloves over top of her hands because she doesn’t like her claws much. She dons a very, very, very, very, very dark green turtleneck sweater, except the neck of the sweater is violently ripped off for some reason. Overtop she has a purely black vest (with pockets, overflowing with assorted items, either from her workspace or that she randomly picked up, because you never know when something might come in handy). She also has a black light coat that looks as though someone splattered purple blood all over it that she leaves unbuttoned, also with overflowing pockets. She takes a notebook and pen with her everywhere she goes. Her entire face is dotted with golden freckles, and she wears faded green rectangular glasses with partially shattered lenses (she was too nervous to ask someone if they could help fix them or get her a new pair). Flora has black deer ears upon her head, and she wears a flower crown made of yellow, fluffy dandelions. She wears a dark-gray skirt of medium length, short black socks, and short pale lime boots.
Backstory: As a child, Flora was never good enough for her parents. Nothing she did was ever good enough, and they always had such high expectations of her, that she couldn’t live up to… she had to be the best. She had to be perfect. She had to be the kindest, the smartest, the most successful… and Flora cracked under all the pressure. She was greeted with words of disappointment, of reprimand, with a slap to the face whenever she failed. Flora grew fearful, and desperate for approval and kindness from anyone, but she figured she didn’t deserve it. She wasn’t good for anything, or to anyone… In everything she does, she desperately tries to prove herself. But it seems like nothing is ever good enough.

Suzume Fujimori’s POV

Suzume noticed that Megami had joined her as she made her way to her seat. She blinked. “Oh, hello, Megami. Nice weather today, isn’t it?” Okay. That was a weird statement.

Of course, it was intended to be a joke. “And- it’s- a joke. Because, you know, we have no idea what the weather is like. What do you think the weather is like? Ahem. But- more importantly. What do you think the motives are going to be?”

And something else crossed her mind. She wondered what Megami thought of her. Of course, this was merely because she thought Megami might be trustworthy, and a friend to her… but… she wasn’t entirely sure how she felt.

She might just be planning on using you for something. Notable. But she shook her head. She definitely couldn’t waste time pondering how Megami might feel about her, unless that had some kind of practical usage. Why did she need to know, anyway?

She didn’t notice the rather pensive expression her face held.

Kowai Kurai’s POV

Kowai made her way into the changing room for the girls, and she frowned thoughtfully. “Huh. I wonder if they’ll provide us with swimsuits!! After all, there’s no way any of us could’ve brought one along!”

Something occurred to her. A murder would most likely not occur here and now, since if someone was wearing a swimsuit, they couldn’t hide anything…

Another thought crossed the girl’s twisted mind. Hisoka was at the gym right now. And she had unfinished business with him.

Suzume Fujimori's POV

"Miss Fujimori. Do you have a minute?"
"Of course, sir. What is it?" She fought to steady her breathing...
"I need to talk to you about something... something that happened. On August 8th."
August 8th... no. It couldn't be...

Suzume jolted awake, a cold sweat settling in. She squirmed about, fingers wriggling, reaching for something. Reaching for what? Her mind slowly cleared. Her glasses. Of course.

It was just a bad dream, that was all it was. He couldn't have known. Calm down.

The motives today. Yes, she had to get to the gym. To find out about...

She shuddered, remembering something Megami had said. Where was Femi, anyway? What could the motives possibly be? Was someone going to die today? Quite possibly... She intended to make sure it wasn't her, if possible.

Then again... was she sure she wanted to?...

Couldn't think like that. She had to make her way there.

She put her glasses on, inhaling, exhaling, adjusting. She had to remain calm.

Suzume got dressed and headed to the gym. Cautiously.

Kowai Kurai's POV

Kowai Kurai stirred awake, and for a moment, someone might have caught a look of fear on her face. A look of pity for the dead. But that didn’t exist, that would’ve been merely someone’s imagination.

There was but a crooked smile upon her face immediately replaced with a much friendlier one. Well, it was time for her to head to the pool!

After all, there wasn’t really any fun in learning the motives. And there was someone she still needed to see.

Suzume Fujimori's POV

". . ." Suzume sighed. "Look, I'm going to be honest about this situation. This is a very difficult decision for me to make. But. I think for my own safety, and for the safety of others... I'm going to go to learn the motives. After all, knowledge is power." And power can make all the difference in a sadistic game where everyone has to kill one another.

"Megami? Are you planning on going?" she asked her friend. Wait. Her friend. Had Suzume seriously just thought that?

No one was her friend here. No one would ever be her friend.

Right?...

Kowai Kurai's POV

Kowai yawned boredly. “I meeeeean, I guess I could go. But then the next trial might be too easy! I don’t want that,” she pouted. “Besides, I don’t want to kill anyone…” A distraught look came upon her face. “Although, come on, who would kill anyone right now?”

Suzume Fujimori's POV

Suzume turned and stared at Amano, and then looked back at Megami. "It... seems we're in some kind of war. Although how this conflict started is beyond me." And it honestly seems rather pointless. At least no one's... killing each other. She noticed Megami putting in contact lenses.

"Ah, wait, you have vision problems too? How fascinating! I never knew." She found herself staring at Megami's eyes up close. "How do you even see those? I imagine they require perfect precision to put in!"

Kowai Kurai's POV

A gleam occurred in Kowai's eyes as she spotted Hisoka. She hopped over to him. "Ohhhh, Hisokuuuu! How nice to see you! Sooo, you want comfort mochis? I think I know where we have some! Why don't you let me show you to them?" But there was a strange look on her face, accompanying the gleam in her eyes.

It's like she was asking him something, and hoping he'd understand...
