Drakon fled, running into the forest until she thought she was a safe distance away. Finding a nice hollow at the base of a tree, she stopped to rest for a while. What to do now? She didn't have anywhere to go, or anything she could really do. She heard a loud grumble, and looked down at her stomach just then noticing how hungry she was. Well, berry hunting was certainly better than just sitting there. She got up and wandered through the forest searching for something to eat.

Drakon watched in amusement as the newcomer did some sort of dance. Until, that is, she saw what was behind him. A young boy was standing next to the man she had escaped from earlier. The boy was crying. Creeping closer, she heard what he was saying. "ch-charmander, I want my charmander!"
cried the boy with his face in his hands. Drakon then noticed that the other two pokemon that were in the pen with her where gone. She almost felt bad for the boy, but no, her life was her own to share with who she liked. Just then she realized that she had stepped out of the grass. Diving into the grass, she tried to escape detection, but it was to late, they had spotted her. Running as fast as she could, she hid in a bush just outside of town, and watched as they searched near where she was before. They eventually gave up and the boy started crying again.

Drakon heard a loud voice calling out near the entrance to the town. She started walking towards the sound, but hesitated, torn between following that sound and getting as far away as possible from the town. Curiosity got the better of her, and she walked towards the sound, slowing as she came nearer. peaking out from the grass on the side of the road, she saw a human, yelling out loud to the general public. This one seemed strange, unlike all the others she had seen. Staying hidden, she waited to see what would happen.

Drakon ran in the shadows along the side of the street, hoping to get out of the city before anyone else saw her. She paused for a moment. Would somebody really care if she left? That trainer that was supposed to pick her up in a few hours, would they be sad? Had she sorely disappointed someone by leaving? She supposed she could at least try to make friends with this trainer, maybe she would even like them. No, there was no turning back now. She continued to make her way across the streets and out of the city.

Drakon searched along the fence, looking for a hole, a weak spot, anything that might help her escape. She quickly looked over at the other two pokemon, a bulbasaur and a squirtle to make sure that they were asleep. She finally found a hole, a small hole, but it would have to do. When she was halfway through the hole, the old man who brought her here showed up, just in time to see her leave. "Hey," he shouted as he watch Drakon slip through the hole, " That trainer needs you."
Drakon stood there and thought for just a moment, then she silently ran away.
