She got closer and closer, then stopped when she realized that Prince Loki was talking to a guard. But...the feelings of illusion, that natural twinge in the air Liv had always felt around magic, just wouldn't go away. If she had been paying more attention, she would have noticed that the illusions seemed to be coming from the guard, but she never did notice. Still, hoping to sneak past them, she kept moving forwad, moving behind a shubbery.

Liv was sure that she was alone on the path. But as she caught the sensing of illusions, she knew that she wasn't alone. As she turned the corner, she realized that it was indeed what she thought. It was Prince Loki! But now, she knew, she'd have to work hard not to be caught. Especially if she were to figure out what exactly he was disguising. And so, she stole along, quietly and quickly.

She was being watched.

By someone above.

A dark figure who seemed to be made of smoke. His yellow eyes grinned with delight. "New, fresh magic prey," he giggled. "Soon we'll have them all, and I can take their magic."

Things on Asgard might have gone one way, with Ragnarok's threat waning and Loki and Thor leaving Asgard only to run into the nefarious Thanos, but in an aleternate dimension, another sulotion was found that did not end with the destruction of Asgard, but with Hela's death regardless and the freeing of the people. Slowly, Asgard rebuilt itself. Loki and Thor's adventures together caused them to bond closer as time went on, Loki going down a better path.

At the current time, a young aprentince of Frigga was slipping away from her master, hoping not to get caught as she went down the path.

Grey was sickened by everything that he saw. Who did these people think they were? Did they really think that they were more than monsters, sick beings that put these people full of suffering through even more? Regardless of what they thought they were, Grey would not give them the satisfaction of seeing his fear, the deep rooted fear he thought that he was past after all this time. But something brought it, and he disguised it with shoulders set back, eyes narrowed, and arms crossed, fists clenched. When they brought him into the room, Grey was almost expectant of it. He knew that with his ability, there was so much for them to do to him. But would they know it? They only knew some about his weaknesses, his ablities...right? Or was there more to this that Grey was missing? With his missing memories, maybe there was....

They instructed him to remove his shirt, socks and shoes, which he did so, eyeing the gun. "What, getting so comfortable and then you start the death threats?" The man holding the gun just moved his finger slightly, and Grey quickly said, "Alright, Alright!" They had him sit in a metal chair, and the woman smiled. "Let the experimentation begin."

Grey could already feel the horrible stinging up and down his back and legs as they attached wires to his head. "This will nullify your ability, but not the side affects," the woman announced, and Grey laughed. "What, is that supposed to be a bad thing? At least the voices will shut up. Seems you wont." Grey couldn't keep his mouth shut, but the woman made sure of it when she shoved a metal mask over his mouth. Grey grit his teeth as the pain increased, the skin around his mouth becoming red hot and beggening to blister. But he wouldn't back down. There were chains wrapped around his body, worsening the pain in him as he struggled. Tears ran down his face, and a muffled scream came out of him. This pain was far worse then he had ever experienced, and he didn't think he could go on. They removed the bandages from his feet, exposing the horrible blistered bottoms, which they had him put his feet against the metal floor. That just made it worse.

Then, they acsessed his memories.

Evrey memory flashed before Grey's eyes, mixing with the seemingly endless pain caused Grey to double over. But for every new memory they let him see, he just saw more and more pain. He was scarred both mentally and physically, writhing in pain. But he didn't say a word. Not until he kept seeing Erin's face, and he started cursing the scientists, anger almost completley overpowering the pain. So, they slid a metal bit under his tounge to keep him quiet. Eventually, the wires were removed. "Now bend the metal away," the woman commanded. He did so, collasping to the ground. The masked men picked him up, and dragged him away.

Grey had truly found his limit.

Grey's face hardened as he stood up, following the group. "Preety sick tutorial, if you ask me," he muttered, earning himself a crack on the back of the head from one of the guards, which caused him to shut up, evreything swimming in front of his eyes as he fought to regain focus. As he kept going, evreything seemed awfully familiar. He hadn't been through something like this in Red. This feeling of familiarity was something far deeper. He worked his jaw, eyes narrowing. No matter how familiar this felt, it was still sick and horrible.

Xena found him as he was excersising. "I can tell from the sounds that you're getting an early start, huh?" The woman took a semiformal stance, as if it were ingrained in her. "I wanted to talk to you as it seems that we haven't had a proper conversation, especially about what I'll need to know for the Games. Do you think you can handle that?" she said, adding a bit of sarcasam to the last part.

Dimitri knew that Faith had shown a lot of kindness and trust in him, and it was something that he was immensley greatful for. But he knew that He would have never aproved of it. "Your friendships must be few and far between, and if they try to discourage you from working until you drop to reach your goal, they are not worthy." Dimitri didn't want to hear Him in his head anymore. But he didn't think that it would ever stop. "It's something," he said, sidestepping the question and yawning. He really hadn't been getting any sleep at all. Dimitri supposed He would be proud.

Agria waved hesitanetly, before turning to Xena. Xena put an arm around her shoulders and began guiding her back to her room, using the walls as a guide. "It seems you're making friends." Agria drummed her nails against the wall to respond. "I know you were just talking, but the Peackeepers don't see it that way. Wait until training, then we'll focus on alliances." At Agria's door, she said, "Go inside. I need to talk to your District Partner."

Dimitri was indeed bent on finding something. He was bent on finding something that he was convinced would change evreything, though if that reasoning came from truth or his sleep-deprived state was yet to be seen. The Journals. Dimitri knew that He had been a student here. Dimitri also knew that He was a morbid genuis. If anyone would have the secrets to a prophecy, He would. Dimitri knew for a fact that they were somewhere in the library. He had even...convinced Professor Slughorn to confirm it: His journals were somewhere in the library. Most likely in the Resctricted Section, if anything. That was the best thing that Dimitri could come up with, so he was starting there, a signed note from the Professor giving him the needed permisson to find the journals.

He knew that his reasons were slightly selfish, but he was terrified of the prophecy. He would do anything to put an end to all of this. He jumped when he heard Faith, whirling around. "What the-Oh, hey Faith. Nothing. I'm doing nothing." After a second, he stuffed the paper in his pocket.
