It all began on the first of January. A new year, a new me.

More new than I could ever dream.

I woke up and got ready--as I always did. Nothing abnormal happened until I saw my brother walking back up the stairs to his room. He seemed... different. Not appearance-wise, no, nothing had changed. I just felt like.. there was something about his presence. His aura. We suddenly were quite... disconnected. I don't know why. I just felt some... presence, keeping us apart.

Being a soul seer ruins everything.
