Suzume nodded thoughtfully. "We could also have some more physical activities. Some sports, perhaps? Nakata and Koda could put something together. We could maybe have some games everyone could participate in too... if we could- maybe put together some simple things like... Musical Chairs? I'm not sure about... the music though."

Instinctively, her eyes glanced in Megami's direction. "Hey... Megami, I know you're not that confident in your musical capabilities, but maybe you could play something for Musical Chairs? But we can only have five activities... though, unless we could combine some games into one activity, somehow..."

"Niwa, why do you want less physical activities?" Suzume asked, raising her eyebrows. She turned to Hisoka. "That's an idea as well. Thank you, Hisoka."

"Yes, yes, you're God," she said to Suko, dismissively waving her hands. They're such a weirdo... But then her eyes clouded with sympathy. "Suko... are you trying to distract yourself?" she asked very quietly.

Suzume gave an exasperated huff. "No. I never do things for dramatic purposes, Hisoka." She turned to Niwa and nodded, and then turned to Suko, and facepalmed. "Can you do something OTHER than teaching people how to shoot rabbits, and to use guns? Surely you can shoot with something else... like darts?"

She grimaced. "Augh... those could be used as weapons. Better make sure they're blunt."

No one is dying. Not anymore. Not another person is dying under my watch. I can't let it happen again... It's my responsibility to keep these people safe.

Suzume sighed as she glanced around. She could do for a distraction from her thoughts right now... Slowly, she took out a marker. "Alright, everyone. If we're doing a festival, well... we might need some food, music, entertainment of some kind. We could hold a dance, I suppose, we could have all sorts of things catering to our various talents. Arts and crafts. Various concoctions. Majikaruman could hold a magic show. Hisoka could construct some jewelry (perhaps fake). Koda, you're an athlete, right? You could do some flips. Megami, you could create some decoding puzzles. Maybe... we could make some together."

She hit her blush with a clap to her face. "A-Anyway! Buraddo, you could put together a fake court skit. Suko, you can... teach everyone to shoot targets. Without guns. Niwa, you could teach everyone poetry, and we could all write some poems and present them! Just... just a few ideas."

She looked out of breath afterward and let out a gasp of air. "Any questions?"

The words snapped them back to their senses. They grimaced, catching a breath. No. What were they doing? Turning to the authorities, looking them in the eyes...

"My deepest apologies." As if that would be enough... "But I have to say this. You can't just punish a possibly innocent child like this! They deserve a fair trial. And if anything happens, I'll accept responsibility."

WHAT. THE HELL DID I JUST SAY?! I DON'T EVEN KNOW THIS PERSON!! But the look upon the girl's face... the heinous crime, the punishment...

Nats Morrow weaved their way into the crowd. They were sipping a still steaming mug of coffee, and then his eyes widened in realization at what was going on. Someone was being accused of a crime. A child. With next to no evidence. Her eyes narrowed in disgust; how very typical of people.

They felt the anger brewing inside of them, and it happened before they could stop it. They darted through and pushed aside the people around them, barely brushing past some of them. "HEY! YOU! Let go of her!" he yelled, face red with fury. Out came a pocket knife from Nats's pocket.

They'd regret this soon enough-- but they weren't thinking right now. All that brewed within them was the anger at this witnessed injustice. "OR ELSE."

Totally Legitimate Post That Totally Actually Happened

Femi's ghost watched in horrified, choked tears at Koda and Suko. What? No, he wasn't incredibly heartbroken and extremely jealous, and this post is totally canon and not a joke! Kowai was patting Femi on the shoulder with narrowed eyes, a huff, and an irritated expression.

She was saying, "You know, I don't know why you're surprised." Again, totally legitimate post that totally actually happened!! This wasn't some crack I just came up with!!

Suzume frowned and rubbed her eyes. It almost felt as though she had had a very annoying non-canon dream, but that couldn't make sense. She didn't have the power to break the fourth wall. Wait, what?

Suzume's hands flew to cup her mouth, and then fell down. Slowly, she put her hand on Megami's shoulder. "Megami... you're not a monster. It's okay. You can't be blamed for that. You can't. It's okay. It's okay..." She started to cry herself, and gritted her teeth.

Could I tell her my own truth? That is so much worse than that? And still face her, if she knew what I did?...

She shook her head as though to dismiss the thought. I can't. I can't, Megami. I'm sorry.

(Axolotter, you're controlling someone else's character and breaking the rule about being realistic when the situation requires it. Saying Bill Cipher has just possessed your character does not make logical sense, as it doesn't work with TOH lore, the abilities your characters have had are freakishly unrealistic and powerplaying, and are ruining the state of the roleplay as the things they are doing are far too overpowered and make avoiding every single type of conflict far too easy- these things combined do not make for good roleplaying, and Serendibite posted what she did with Brooksook out of frustration at the unrealisticness of what you have been writing-)

Suzume's eyes widened, as the realization hit her. "You're implying she... wanted to die? Or wanted to fake her death? Or she didn't want us all to die? But... why?" She paused. "I've always noticed there was something... off about her. When I think about it... the way she directed the case, she was trying to guide us in the right direction. Towards the conclusion it was her. So for whatever reason... Kowai Kurai wanted to die, and she wanted us all to live. And the truth as to why... died with her."

"Hisoka and Niwa, they knew something. They both knew something. But why? The key to this mystery may lie in interrogating the both of them. I doubt they'll talk, but you know what she said. If it wasn't a lie, that is."

Suzume looked sick... and it felt as though every event flashed before her eyes. The car speeding towards them, the dreadful sound... wearing black on a pounding rainy day, the sky filled with gray... the after, the papers scribbled in... all her favorite experiments, the shouted names, the laughter... the gritting of her teeth and fighting back tears... the determination pushing her forward... the... the... no. Forget about that! And things in the now... Nagisa's horrified expression as he died with tears in her eyes... Chika, the faint look in her eyes as she got stabbed... Akihiro, the empty look on her face, killed by the very thing she loved doing... Redmonda, the terror on her face as she was steamed away... Femi, and his pleading burned away expression... that seemed to say "Help me... please..." the horrible truth of his last words, and last actions... Amano, the almost-peaceful look upon his face that was always so aggravated but well-intentioned... Kowai Kurai... the one she did not personally care for, the one she hated with everything in her...

~~Because she was right.~~

They were all dead, and gone... in a matter of days... and who else would follow? Quietly she slunk to the floor and hung her head. She didn't want Megami to see her tear-stained face that blurred her glasses, like that rainy day...

No... Kowai didn't know anything. She couldn't have. "Nutmeg?" she asked, before she could stop herself from letting out the nickname. "That thing... I wanted to ask Kowai. I wanted to ask. Why did she confess, right when we were all doomed? When she was about to win?"

The voices chattered all around her, all the sounds contributing to low, buzzing hums that made their way across the room and back again, across the room and back again. Suzume wished to cover her ears, to drown out the noise. Voices, just more meaningless voices. Something about the damned school festival.

What they all were going to do. Megami said something funny, the words blurred together. Her hollow eyes gazed at Suko momentarily. So many meaningless voices...

The funny thing was, she didn't care. Much. ~~Or so she told herself.~~ There was no point to that. Caring led to guilt, guilt led to...

The next thing you knew...

...

She nodded slowly, never saying a word. No reaction to Megami getting up.

There were all these voices... all saying something different...

She didn't want to hear them anymore.

No. No no no no. Dammit. She needed to know. SHE NEEDED TO KNOW!

And now Kowai Kurai… was dead, and she’d never know. Her hands curled into fists. Dammit. DAMMIT!! She’d never know how she knew all those things about her. She’d… no- she didn’t know. She’d never know… why…
