DAY THREE:
2/10/2016
Today I went to this 'Sportsman's Show' thing with my mom and dad.
It was kinda fun.
There's a bunch of booths with stuff like bows and decals for sale.
We walked around, and I just had to have chosen my most uncomfortable shoes. Anyway, there was free candy at some booths. YUM.
There was this one booth with necklaces with stuff like bugs and flowers in 'em. I got a yellow flower and a red flower.
There was another booth with yard signs, and one gate-thing was all Doctor Who stuff.My family was in geek heaven there.
We ate pizza there, and we watched some dude try to catch fish as we ate.
There's always this giant pond-thing in one room, with about a hundred trout to catch. It's for kids 13 and below, so next year is my last.
Each kid can only catch 2 trout, and you can kill it and take it home or donate it, or put it back after you catch it. Anyway, after I cast my line into the water, I caught my fish within a minute both times. I also put 'em back both times.
After that, I went to a gold-panning booth. It had real gold and [/i]real garnets.[/i] I got about 5 flakes of gold, and 4 pieces of garnet the size of an eraser attached to a pencil. I got to keep 'em, so now they're sitting by me in a vial of water as I type. Then, I got a little metal dinosaur standing on a little rock.
