She closed the door, and her eyes immeadiately flitted to someone on the floor. Who- Darcy? They had a bloodied fist, and glass was scattered like snow. Akora ran over, alarm in her eyes. "What the-" She tutted a little at the broken mirror. She'd clean that later. "C'mon, lets get you to sit on your bed." [Read more] |

Akora opened her eyes. She let go of her fistfulls of hair, tears brimming in her eyes. Running over to Solaro, she butted her head into her shoulder with a pleading look. Solaro glanced at the girl, and smiled. She wrapped her arms around her, humming a melody with a lilt suggesting it was meant to be calming. Akora sighed, and relaxed a little. Solaro let Akora free of her embrace, smiling. Akora fixed her face, profusely drying her eyes on her sleeve. "What's wrong, Akora?" The child brushes messy orange hair out her her eyes, huffing at the wind, howling and swirling and pushing her hair in her eyes. Akora sniffles, rubbing her face. "Tori pushed me!" She squeaked, teary eyes glistening. Solaro noticed a small graze on Akora's left hand. Akora's slightly older cousin, rough-and-tumble Tori, was a bossy brat. Solaro flared indignantly. "Rude!" She stomped angrily. After flattening an ant hill, she looked up at Akora's reddened face. "Woof!" She said cheerily, smudging away a tear sliding down Akora's cheek. Akora's face twisted from a frown into a grin. "Meow!" Solaro grasped Akora's hand. "Lets go throw pillows at 'er!" She squealed excitably. "Okay then!" Akora agreed. [Read more] |

Solaro seemed unfazed, until it became apparent that she had spaced out, her eyes staring weirdly at the stage. Upon somehow detecting it was over, she shuddered and turned away, crying a little. [Read more] |

Akora huffed crossly. "May we not make random accusations?" She growled. The first strong emotion shown from her. "We need to compile our evidence before we decide to scream at eachother." Akora looked at her feet, muttering something infuriated. This was unusual, considering the girl was usually a quiet, obedient pacifist. [Read more] |

Jeez okay, Solaro- Solaro frowned. She'd been listening, being a pacifist (unusual, much) and saying nothing. She had nothing anyway. Although, she hated being useless. Whatever. She'd stay out of it for now. She didn't want to cloud the water. A small hiss. That was not her metaphor. Stay out of my head. She growled throatily to them. [Read more] |

"Well,-" She paused, surprised she had been able to talk at all. "Who saw her last? A-and, when was she found? It could determine roughlt about when she died, maybe?" Akora offered nervously. [Read more] |

Akora uttered a silent cry of defeat. She knew she couldn’t help if the words wouldn’t come out. She tried to pull herself up and out of the terror she was wading in, but like a murky swamp, it stuck to her legs and dragged her down, and she felt herself slipping out of view as she plunged into the mud - the despair. Solaros eyes widened. "Don't tell me-" She began, but Akora cut her off. "Shhh. No. I'm just tired, okay?" Solaro raised an eyebrow. Something caught her attention though. Someone running out. Did he have drawings on his face? She stifled a laugh, squishing her feelings into the mental box that she always did when she walked on to the stages. Don't wanna be rude, Solaro! No need to give them a reason to murder yoou~! Solaro scowled at herself. She wished she could be half as calm as Akora, who had also seemingly noticed but kept a blank stare, eyes unimpressed. Focusing on her own expression, she realised her face was twisted into a half-grin half-worried-frowny-thingy. [Read more] |

She ran over to Solaro, whilst fiddling with the satchel on her side. "Are you good? What'd he say? Do I need to hit him?" Solaro growled quickly. "No- I'm fine." Akora gripped Solaro's arm, hard. [Read more] |
