Oh, yeah! Thanks, Leo! I heard about the glitch, but didn't think to post it here. From what I've been hearing, it's either more common or only in Y. I've saved several times in Lumiose City, and haven't had an issue yet with my X. Still, I think I'll be more careful where I save.

I hope this glitch doesn't hit anyone here's game! It wouldn't suck so bad if it only erased to the last save point. D:

@Liirah: I talk to a lot of NPCs, but the recent Pokemon games seem to require that all of them be talked to, or you miss out on something important. It's getting a little annoying xD

@Zorupix: I wish I had that kind of patience for leveling xD

Speaking of Zangoose...Has anyone run into that Zangoose hoard that has the one Seviper? I thought that was interesting, until they all started attacking it. ._. They didn't even attack my Pokemon until that Seviper was gone.

I actually only teach my main Pokemon Fly and Surf, sometimes Waterfall if I need to. I save the others for slaves. Cut, Rock Smash, and Strength are all pretty weak, and I don't want them stealing a move spot. I wish HM moves could be forgotten easily. D:

I ran into one Bidoof early on, but didn't think to catch it. And I wasn't even thinking of Rock Smash! I need it xD I had no idea that I had to get it from an NPC...Luckily, I'm not too far away from the Aquarium.

@catiecast: D: That sucks! If it's a money issue, have you considered the new 2DS? I don't know much about it, but it plays 3DS games without the 3D, and is cheaper. I don't know if it can do anything else, but the lower pricetag is pretty cool! xD

Anyway, out of curiosity, what is everyone's teams so far? (Or teams you hope to have, for those who don't have the game, yet).

Here's mine:

Braixen (male; lv 29) - Nicknamed "Ronny"
Charmeleon (male; lv 28 ) - Nicknamed "Ryker"
Absol (male; lv 28 ) - Nicknamed "Chance"
Helioptile (male; lv 28 ) - Nicknamed "Milo"

I'm shooting for catching a Goomy next. I wasn't going to at first, then I got a good look at Goodra...And I fell in love! I kicked out my Bagon (which had kicked out the Trapinch I was going to catch), so I wouldn't have a team full of dragons. For the final spot...I'm thinking of adding an Aron. But I need a water type, or a Pokemon that can learn good water moves. D:

I don't know where all the Pokemon are, so making a team is hard for me. I normally have the Pokemon I want picked out before I even get my starter. xD

I got Pokemon X first thing this morning!

I. Am. In. Love! This game is absolutely stunning! So far I only have a Braixen and Charmeleon, but I plan on getting either a Trapinch or Bagon, and an Absol. There are soooo many Pokemon! I'm used to only having three or four on a certain route, and it seems like there's more in Pokemon X/Y. I'm having a hard time what to catch and when to catch it. xD

Oh, and Braixen's animation is awesome. For those who didn't choose Fennekin, you know it takes that stick out and (for mine at level 22) uses it for Ember? Then spins it like a boss before putting it back. <3

Does anyone know how to get to Route 8? I need to get past that Zubat cave, but Route 6 is blocked. How do I go around...?

Also, anyone know if there's a Vs. Seeker available, or any other way to rebattle trainers? That would help me out a ton!

And...How do you use the Pokemon Amie? I've been waiting for someone in-game to show me, but nothing has popped up. The one time I actually want a tutorial! D:

Yeah...I've been faintly hoping that Delphox wasn't the real final fire starter. But at least it's not fire/fighting!

There's only two or three Gen 6 Pokemon that I can see myself using. I wanted to use Helioptile so bad, but its evolution line looks so incomplete. And so many are dragon, that it's going to be tough to have a balanced team. I'm going to be using Fennekin and Charmander, so I should probably forget balance, anyway. xD

Well...People have said that there are more Pokemon to be caught in this game, compared to others. Especially Black and White, when only Gen 5 could be caught before beating the Elite Four. (I'm really glad they're not doing that, again.) When I think about it, having 100 more would have probably been a bit too much considering we've hit over 700.

I'm still really excited about the game, though. As much as I would have liked to have a team full of Gen 6 Pokemon, seeing my old favorites in 3D will be just as fun. :)

That's kind of a bummer... By the way, I love how Mega Ampharos has that epic hair. Nothing really changed but that hair and a few gems. xD [Read more]

As long as they don't have too much of that, then it kind of kills the idea of having all new lines to explore. I would love a pre-evolution of Absol. I think it would be the cutest thing ever. 	Same here. xD Well, the same would apply to Water/Grass types like the Lotad line. Try to zap it with a thunderbolt attack, and it won't do as much as it would to just a Water type. But it would do more than if it was just a Grass type. And I know that first-hand, trying to kill Lotads with Electric attacks and Flying attacks early in my Emerald game. xD [Read more]

The nice thing about Mega Charizard X is that it's Dragon AND Fire type. Fairy type isn't very effective against Fire types, so that dual typing cancels out the super effectiveness of Fairy moves.

At least...I think? I'm not one of those technical Pokemon fans, so I'm not too sure about stuff like that, lol.

And, Death, that fanart is amazing! Dunsparce has good design potential, it'd be such a waste to not show it any attention! :C

@Zorupix: People have been saying that the starters are all part of a theme: Warrior/Mage/Rogue. Chespin is the warrior, Fenniken is the mage, and Froakie is the rogue. Or, that's what people have been saying, at least. I am a little bummed that Delphox lost the twig in its tail, but the fanart on this page makes it look so cool. The ear tufts are a little cringe-worthy in the game screenshot, but maybe the animation will make them look better.

Apparently the lucky people who got the game early have been posting more of the Pokemon, and are all getting shut down by Nintendo. I managed to see a couple and they are amazing. I still really, really love this gen!

Anyway, I don't really care for Mega Garchomp either. xD I'm kind of hoping that it'll get an X version exclusive, too. One that'll appeal to me a little more. And I wish Absol got a real evolution, too! D: Oh, well. A mega evo is better than nothing.

Also....I really, really hope they do something for Dunsparce. Like. Seriously. xD

I'm curious as to what a shiny Charizard will look like as a Mega X...

Anyway, anyone else see the final evolutions for the starters? I don't think they're confirmed yet, but chances are they're real since some people already have the game. At first, I was so disappointed. Just...Gah. No wonder they're giving us the Kanto starters, too.

Now, Fennekin's final evo is kind of growing on me. The poor quality pic that's going around makes them worse than they probably are, so I'm waiting for the official artwork to be released.

	Honestly, I wouldn't recommend using the sprites if you can't get the permission from the owner. Especially since it looks like other people made them for that particular site. I would play it safe and just get others to make different ones. [Read more]

	Honedge and Doublade are interesting...I just kind of hope that they're two of only a few Pokemon like that in gen 6. I typically prefer animal-like Pokemon, not ones based on objects. After having a bunch of them, things start to get kind of silly, lol. [Read more]
