Sorrel sighs deeply as he trudges to class, late as ever and internally grumbling about why waking up in the morning is so freaking difficult. He kicks the rock across his path, dully watching it skid across the road before continuing towards his classroom.

Senior year, huh. College after that. Well, probably not, since there's no reason to if he's not going to... well. Nothing important. He steps into class.

Shiro raps a finger against the desk quietly, watching the clock tick by as he waits for class to begin. He's usually early since he tends to wake up early, and he figures that since there's nobody to talk to at home anyways, he should just head over to class.

	Shiro clears his throat, and relieved when he finds his voice works again. "It's raining outside," he says, voice quieter than he'd intended. "You should be, yanno, careful." Shiro watches as Rue leaves, seemingly in a foul mood, and mentally scolds himself for annoying her. It's not like he did it on purpose in the first place, but he supposes he's just that way. He starts when Sakura bursts through the door.

He tries to greet her, curses internally when he can't, and settles for a small wave. It seems to be raining buckets outside, and Shiro sighs, briefly wondering if Rue's okay.

Sorrel passes by a girl walking through the rain as he himself opens his own umbrella. While weather forecasts aren't the most accurate, he still checks them.

"Hey," he calls, frowning in concern. "You shouldn't be out here in the rain."

At her annoyed glance, Shiro snaps his mouth shut out of habit, a habit he's been trying to get rid of since forever, and raises his hands up in the universal sign for surrender. He makes to open his mouth, but finds he can't, and just swallows, giving the most nonchalant shrug he can manage.

Sorrel sighs in relief, when he passes by Kei, spotting the plaza up ahead. "Finally, some freaking peace and quiet," he mutters under his breath with some satisfaction.

Sorrel slinks out of the house, scrubbing at his face in frustration and exhales deeply, backpack over his shoulder. He hates doing work at home; he can hardly get anything done, so he usually heads for somewhere quiet. Hopefully nobody notices he's gone.

On the way, he passes by a vaguely familiar guy with a very familiar voice--Kei's. Sorrel keeps his mouth resolutely shut, making to pass by him so they don't end up having a conversation he's not in the mood for.

	Shiro curses internally when he realizes he'd left his wallet in his backpack, which so happens to be at home, but doesn't let it show on his face. He shifts in his seat, playing it cool, which he's had an awful lot of practice at doing. "If you want them, I'm sure they'd be happy to oblige," he suggests absentmindedly at Sakura's outburst. 	Shiro huffs, glancing at her limp with some amount of concern. It doesn't seem that bad, since she can actually walk, but he shrugs nonchalantly and says anyway, "You sure you two don't need any help?" He figures Sakura isn't weak, though, and it's not like she's carrying all of Rue's weight, so he guesses they'll be fine even without his help. [Read more]

Compared to her earlier grace in the battle as her avatar, the difference is almost comical, though he hardly has room to speak, considering he's in the same damn boat. Shiro squints at the interaction between Kei and Ava. Oh god. He's about to make a comment about cooties, but thinks better of it, figuring it's too early. Clearing his throat, Shiro announces to nobody in particular, "Well, I guess I'll be heading home, unless you guys were going somewhere? Because Dad doesn't really care about... well he doesn't really care about what I do either way."

"I'm Shiro," he offers, shrugging, and honestly just a little uncomfortable. While he's friends with these guys, he's still unsure around them, since he doesn't have the mask of a video game and an avatar to hide behind. He doesn't recognize any of the kids here, either, but that's no surprise. He's always been terrible at making friends, being pretty isolated. Before his brother went off to college, he'd always been the only one willing to put up with him, but now Shiro only exchanges the occasional message with him. "Never seen you guys around before, but I did only move from Japan a year ago."

"You guys look a lot different from what I expected," he confesses, and concentrates on getting back to normal. "Thanks, Robin," Sorrel says, taking a shuddering breath. Then he realizes how late it is, and says a few things that probably shouldn't be repeated. "Oh god, I have to get home. Oh god. Oh god. Sorry, good fight, I'll see you guys later."

He doesn't wait for a response, running off in the direction of his house. Once he's a safe distance away, he releases his Shadow, slipping into his real body. He stumbles through the transition, lighter and shorter than his Shadow's form.

"Yeah, probably a good idea," Shiro says, huffing as he watches Sorrel run off. He doesn't know much about his home life, only that his parents are really strict, and he's probably much later than curfew, considering the fight that just took place. Well, still taking place. His dad doesn't really care about when he comes home, so Shiro'll be fine to fend off the stragglers.

Sorrel quickly casts a Flame Guardian's Blessing on Kei--he's a tank, so the lowered speed/evasion shouldn't affect him all that much--before pulling at his slowly dwindling SP pool. While he's a Sorcerer, meaning he has an extremely large one, his SP is still finite. "Conflagration Dust!" he calls, sweeping his staff in the Spawner Boss's direction. The flames engulf the monster and sear the closest monsters as well, and Sorrel quickly draws back to let Shiro and Kei do their thing.

Shiro heads for the Spawner Boss with Kei and as soon as Rose casts her Ultimate, he yells, "Critical Edge!" Shiro feels the blade in his hands become sharper and stronger under the attack's magic and he charges, the blade automatically finding the monster's weak point and dealing three devastating blows. He jumps back to let Kei get in and do his thing, figuring he has enough for a Gravity Core, but after that, it's all normal attacks.

Sorrel takes a deep breath, nodding at Rose once. "Yeah, that should help." He raises his voice so Shiro and Kei can hear. "Kei, Shiro!" he shouts, hoping they can hear him across the battlefield. "We're going to need your help over here!"

He pauses to blast a monster with a weak burst of flame, one of the weaker default attacks. "Rose, could you prepare your attack? And if anyone else is available, you should focus your most powerful attacks on the Boss while the monsters are immobilized... Right! And if you have any DEbuffs, those would probably be a good idea to cast on the Spawner Boss right now."

Shiro's about to answer Kei when he hears Sorrel's call. He takes another swing at the monster before turning to Kei. "We should head over," he suggests. "Strength in numbers."

Sorrel checks the Spawner Boss's HP levels. It's awfully high, and it's likely its stats are as well. He clears his throat again. "So, um, anyone have a skill or ability or whatever that leaves status effects? It should help weaken the Spawner Boss... And attacks that immobilize the smaller monsters would help a lot, so they don't get in the way of hurting the Spawner Boss."
His gaze scans over the group of teens and points his staff at a trio of monsters advancing towards them, shooting another Conflagration Dust at them. "We're probably going to need a primary attack team to consistently beat down the Spawner Boss's HP and another few to take the hits from the other monsters."

"You bet," Shiro agrees. "Let's go kick some monster butt." He charges forward ahead of Kei, slashing at the remaining monster.

Sorrel's gold eyes scan over the battlefield. "I have a buff," he muses aloud. "It raises everything but evasion, so I'd use it on a tank, so I could cast it on Kei. Anyone have an attack buff? It'd be best suited for Shiro, since he's going to be up close, and his attacks do a lot of damage. Long distance attackers like myself and Godwin would best be put in the back for obvious reasons..."

He clears his throat and shakes his head, embarrassed. "I mean, that's just what I think. Feel free to ignore me."

Shiro prepares to slash at the weakened monster, but a second approaches Kei, so Shiro instantly changes trajectory, using Silfarion on it to drive it back several paces before it can. "This is going to be hard, isn't it."
