Akari watched the boy quickly scurry away when he realized she had been staring at him, her cheeks turned a vibrant shade of red. She carefully picked her way through the crowd and headed towards the small cottage that would serve as her home until she was properly married to the man she is betrothed with. She sighed softly and stepped inside, gazing at all the furniture and at the plants in the windowsills. Akari cautiously wandered down the bustling street of the new city she had just arrived in. Her amber eyes glanced warily from creature to creature. Her ears were flat against her head and her tail swayed slightly to the movement of her hips as she walked. She was fairly smaller than a majority of the creatures surrounding her, barely reaching five feet tall. Personality: Akari is very quiet and shy towards people she has never met, but if she has known you for years and befriended you, she is very snarky and playful, constantly poking fun. However, if she is still fairly shy and quiet towards you, she can get very cute and clumsy, especially if she begins to develop feelings for you.

History: She doesn't particularly enjoy speaking about her past. Her mother passed away during child birth and her father left her abandoned on the steps of an orphanage. She was raised in the orphanage with a rude headmistress and the kids constantly teased and taunted her about her ears and her wolf lineage. But, when she was about 7, her luck took a turn for the better. A young noble couple had come to the orphanage not long after finding out the woman couldn't bear a child for her husband. They spotted crying not long after a bunch of children pushed her around into a puddle of mud. They both instantly fell in love with her and took the poor girl in. She took about a year to warm up to them but actually started to consider them her parents, and began to love them dearly.

Akari chuckled slightly and set her tea down on the table so she could retrieve the money out of her wallet. "Still, I can't give you enough thanks." She offered another bright grin. She was absolutely ecstatic about the necklace, being raised with five older brothers made it difficult to have cute,girly things so she didn't get stuff like this often. Besides,this boy has been the sweetest thing she has met in ages, even though he's a cat-boy, she can't help but think he's kind of cute.

Jaylen snorted when he spotted the Harpy take off. "Damn it." He grumbled and rubbed his face with the palms of his hands. "There he goes." He grumbled and began to stomp off towards the nearby meadow, his dual color eyes glaring daggers at his hooves.

Akari stared at Rosen with wide green eyes, her entire expression was filled with shock. She had never seen a merchant so willingly give up such a valuable trinket with the purchase of a slice of pie. A wide smile graced her lips once again. "Make that two slices." She grinned and held up her wallet, prepping for the price of the two delicacies. "I can't thank you enough for this." She offered an uncharacteristically happy grin to the boy.

Akari's expression dropped from an excited grin to a disappointed smile. She sadly only had about 30 gold pieces and an abundance of silver bits in her wallet. She awkwardly scratched the back of her head and chuckled a bit. "Ah," She murmured then directed her attention away from the gorgeous neck piece and to a small woven bracelet. "What about this?" She asked, not as enthusiastic as she had been several moments ago.

Jaylen stumbled a bit as he avoided trampling a poor little fairy who shrieked at the sight of his big clumsy hoof. "Ah, sorry ma'am!" He apologized profusely before quickly approaching the Sage's area. "It has to be here somewhere." He murmured quietly, attempting to find the place he needed.

Akari padded at a casual pace down the road, the shop she went to sadly didn't have the coffee she wanted so she simply purchased some tea. As she walked, she noticed a cute booth with all sorts of jewelry and other items. One particular item piqued her interest. A very carefully crafted crescent moon encrusted with several small sapphires. A small smile graced her lips before she looked to the feline shop keeper. "How much is this necklace?" She asked, her green eyes held a curious and hopeful spark in them.
