She nodded. "I like your quirk! It's so cool!~" She admired Ruby's scales as she picked up a sandwich.

Arekkusu looked up at him, tears in his eyes. He'd heard stories of how much his father hated him, the few times they'd interacted. He finally found family that might not hate him. He mumbled quietly. "Uncle... Adrian...?"

Horu was silent. He decided to wait and see what happened... Maybe he shouldn't have mentioned Arekkusu.

He let the information sink in. "You're what?!" He whispered. "So- So you're telling me, that kid- you're related to him too?"

Arekkusu dropped his cup in shock. It fell to the floor with a crash. His tail swished. He didn't notice the eyepatched waiter clean up the cup, or the purple haired waitress asking if he was okay.

Hinami smiled. "Hi Ruby! I like your scales, they're--" But she was cut off by the glass hitting the floor.

Horu nodded. "Apparently his name is Tsuyoi. Someone called him that and then got an earful after. I did some research, and his history is less than pleasant." He seemed deep in thought.

Arekkusu had tuned out of the conversation by now. He drank his coffee in silence.

A waitress with long black hair greeted Allabi as she walked in. "Hello Allabi, ma'am!" Meanwhile, the brown haired girl had ordered two orders of ham sandwiches from a waiter with glasses and brown hair.

The girl giggled. "I'll sit with you! Come on, follow me." She lead Ruby to a table with two chair and sat down.

Arekkusu glanced over at them. One of them had... Blue hair, and green eyes. His eyes widened. He remembered hearing about his lost uncle from eavesdropping, but he always assumed he had died. But their eyes were the same, and his face seemed the same as his own too. He looked away.

Horu shrugged. "Jeez, having a hero like Webba as a father must be a little sucky... I've heard he's a little.. ya know."

As if on queue, Eri walked back in. She was still unsmiling.

Arekkusu approached the coffee shop. He opened the door, the bell sounding. It was strangely dim... there was soft music... What..?

Horu smiled. "I might order some macaroons." He signalled to the black haired waiter, who approached slowly. Hinami was turning off the music and The purple haired waitress had adjusted the lights, in wake of the new customer. "What can I get you two?" He asked warmly. "A plate o' those macaroons, please." The waiter nodded and went to go and retreive a plate of fresh macaroons.

He noticed a couple at another table and sighed. He sat down at a table nearby.

Horu blushed. "R-Really? I u-uh... that's... that's a relief. So, um... Do you wanna... consider this our first date, then?" He smiled, a little less nervous now.

Arekkusu blinked. "If it's okay, I might... go to the bathroom." He lied. He was leaving early. He was going to walk around the streets until it was time to go home, maybe stop and get some coffee. He left before anyone could argue, and made his way to the gates.

Arekkusu flinched away from Kal on instinct. He was scared of him. He didn't want to be, but he was. He nodded to Shinso. "Th.. Thank you..." He smiled.

Webba growled. He was clearly out numbered. "Arekkusu. Home on time tonight." He did a spinning motion with his finger and grinned with something that looked like malice. He stepped out of the infirmary.

Arekkusu froze up. He knew what that spinning motion meant... His tail curled in on itself.

Eri stepped out of the crowded infirmary to go to the bathroom.

Arekkusu did not look up at his father. It was obvious he had just been crying. He looked down at his tattered shoes.

Webba glared down at his son. He looked away from him and turned to Shinso. "Good." He let Ruby's arm go and went back to glaring at his son.

Horu smiled softly. Relaxing is one word for it... He thought. Outside, a few snowflakes began to fall.
