@Chicken Yup, I can hold them. Do you mean you'll pay 27k for the dragon and the apparel or 54k for both?

@A_wild_CHARIZARD I wouldn't sell any hatchling of mine at 5k if I didn't want anyone to exalt them. I'd price my dragons at 10k or more. I never put them less than that unless I've postive they'll get a non-exalt home. And it might be a good thing to name the hatchlings if you're selling them at 5k. Also check the daily bonuses found on the main page. If a hatchling has them or all of them, no doubt it'll get exalted right away if it's priced at a low price. Maybe your hatchlings had the bonuses and that's why they were exalted right away. I wouldn't hate them for it if that was the case. Money making is money making. I always check the bonuses before I sell my dragons.

And as for gem genes, the current bonus right now is the facet gene, a gem gene. And pretty much all facet dragons that have a low enough price will be exalted. I wouldn't look too much into the gem genes thing. Genes that cost gems or not aren't really worth much now, since you can easily get them by breeding.

I hate having to exalt my own hatchlings and I rarely do it unless I desperately need space. I'd rather just give them away for free to a good home or just give them to others to exalt. But that's because they were hatched by me. I have no trouble buying exalt fodder and exalting those because they aren't hatched by me. Some people are like that and don't like breeding their hatchlings to exalt themselves. The person who bought your hatchlings could've been like me, and didn't want to exalt their own, or maybe the person already did exalt all their hatchlings already, and needs more for money or dominance pushes.

Ah, dominance pushes. Flights do dom pushes and 5k hatchlings WILL be exalted during that time. Check to see how much hatchlings are worth so far before selling them. Then, go and price the hatchlings much higher if you don't want to see them exalted. The cheapest hatchling now is around 6k, so 5k hatchlings, again, will be exalted. Ice is pushing to get dominance, so it's not really surprising they were exalted to the Icewarden.

Don't be mad at the people who buy them. They had no idea that you wanted to save those dragons. I've been in a dominance push before and things are crazy around there in the auction house! Dragons get taken up and sold so quickly. Some people are just too busy to snipe cheap hatchlings and dragons to read their bios, I know because I, among many users are extremely busy trying to get space in their lair to buy more cheap dragons that they don't wait for them to grow up, especially if they're a few days old and don't read their bios.

And as for the dragon that you said had a home well, if you truly want a good home for that hatchling, you should PM the person who adopted it to see if they're not just waiting for the dragon to grow up, to train, and to give to a plague or ice flight to exalt. Because well, I did some research and the person commented on the plague buy thread for dominance as well as something for the ice dominance. Chances are, the user will exalt the him... I hope you're alright with that.

Now, if someone came into a thread of mine and bought the hatchlings just to exalt them, when I clearly said in the rules, to not exalt. Then I would be furious and extremely mad.

@A_wild_CHARIZARD I've got a lot of dragons that are from different flights. I don't think of betraying or anything, I just look at the flight thing as like you could be born in one country but move to another for another home. And if you live in the other country long enough, you would think of yourself as a citizen there, even if you were born in another country, no? If those countries declare war against each other, what side would you choose? It's like that. If you're really close to your birth country, you might betray your the country you're living in but if you're attached to the country you're living in, you wouldn't betray that country.

@Midnight_Rein Hope you like them! :> There are other guides as well, but I feel like the two are more... nice to read and look at. For example, there are other elemental guides, but they don't have words but instead symbols like >, < and =. I like the ones I gave you the most because it has pretty pictures and like I said before words! :> As for the leveling guide, there is another one made by a user named Keina I think, but I like Culex's better because, it has graphics (really cute dragon faces >w< ) and it also give you tips as well as what I would say "speaks" to you. I can show you other guides if you'd like! Also, do you have your team of 3 dragons set up yet? IT's just that their's another guide about what dragon element is the best. (I didn't read the guide at first and chose the worst team possible xD. All of my fight dragons have elements that are really bad to fighting monsters in all of the venues... but I love my fight dragons so I don't mind :> ) Are you including a healer in your team? It's just that a certain elemental is the best if you want a healer dragon and that's ice because it has a special attack that can freeze an enemy and not let them move, saving you from damage! :> And if you need any stones, just ask and I'll see if I have extra! I don't have any of berserkers, eliminates or ambushes though. I suggest you participate in a raffle if you need those stones and can't make enough to buy them!

@Midnight_Rein Well, I don't have much tips other than use your elemental attacks as much as possible when facing an enemy that is weak to your dragon's element if you don't have an eliminate. Use shred as well! That's what I did when I first started when I had no money for useful stones like ambushes/ eliminates. Use this guide to figure out what's strong/weak to what.

To get my stones, I participated in a raffle, but not everyone is lucky enough to get their numbers drawn, so I would also recommend you to use your vault to store excess treasure for eliminates and ambushes. Both are absolutely needed to make a good team. I would also recommend a healer as you can hold out a lot longer with one. I'd recommend you to use this leveling guide! I did and I think I have a noteable team :> It tells you everything and what to do!~

I got my 3 dragons up to level 25 in 2 weeks using slashes and shred. Very painful... but worth it! I got my stones somewhere around level 12 but I didn't get to use them all until 17 hehe. If you need any Might fragments/acuity, just tell me and I'll give them to you if I have! :>

	@Maymari Ah, I'm a bit confused. Are you trying to breed hatchlings to get a mate? Or to sell them for money? Or something else entirely? I'm not sure you can change genes breeding... if that's what you mean. You can only breed hatchlings which genes are different. In the end, Dreamer's genes won't change, you'll only end up with an offspring whose genes will change. [Read more]

@Eri_Lis14 To check you just put "http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=(the ID you want here)" onto your browser. If it shows up exalted, it's exalted.

@Chicken Doesn't one only cost 35k? And you should try to ask if a fire flight user is willing ot buy it for you at a cheaper price with their dominance discount. The price turns to 29.5k I'm in Wind, but I have a very nice fire flight friend whose willing to buy me things at a discounted price :>
