A new laboratory had opened in the different regions. It was incredibly secretive. All people knew were that the lab was involved in medicine. One day the Lab advertised for volunteers, saying they might have found the key to uniting Pokemon and Mankind. Many jumped at the chance to help, and the fact they would be paid a hefty sum for their services certainly didn’t hurt.

However, the volunteers were never seen again, even when the scientists were eventually arrested. The whole world mourned their untimely "deaths".

Yet, in an unexplored island some ways off Kalos,a pair of eyes opened...

Appearance:
She has short, messy light blue hair that grows past her shoulders. Due to the Altaria DNA, she now has white feathers covering a bit of her hands and two wings sprouting from her back. However, her control is iffy at best and downright useless at worst. Her skin is very pale, giving her a sickly look. In truth, it’s because she doesn't enjoy staying under direct sunlight very long. She normally wears a simple light blue plaid shirt, light brown cargo pants and plain white converse.

Personality:
She’s a cheerful, childish girl who sees the bright side in everything. She never stops smiling, even when she doesn’t feel like it. When angered she is more likely to say angry words than rely on violence. However, she has a tendency to talk too much, her unnecessary remarks and her habit of not taking no for an answer is often considered annoying.

History:
Amia was born in Sinnoh, Hearthome City. Her parents both worked in the Pokemon Centre. Ever since she was young, she had seen injured Pokemon being treated, and often times the injury was caused by Humans. When she heard of a way to unite Pokemon and Humans she had immediately jumped at the chance. Bidding her parents goodbye, she went to volunteer, and the rest was history…

As a side effect of the DNA, Amia is unable to stomach large amounts of food since Altarias aren’t big eaters. She is also more sensitive to physical attacks as her skeleton has turned light and fragile to enable flight.
