"Huh!" Ariel chirped, "I just, print out my tests and take them in the kitchen? I dont bother wasting my Tutors time with them." She shrugged, finishing her food.

Logan milled about the Dining hall, talking to other returning campers.

"You look lovely." Marius hummed, scooping Alex up and holding him tight. "Now, I can carry you into the mess hall and we can hear alllll of the campers talk about how gross and schmoopy we are. OR I can set you down and we can walk into the mess hall like adults." He mused, shutting the car door with his foot.

Logan gave a half smile and rolled his eyes. He finished his food and went to put his tray by the dishes window. Ariel gave Arabella a baffled look. "So do you just, scan the things you have questions on and send the scanned images to your teachers?"

Marius smiled. "Nah, sorry love. We gotta go before dinner ends. We can bully some kids into taking the supplies in for us though. Or just get David to do it." He shrugged, offering Alex a hand out of the car.

"Ha, I barely take notes." Logan said. He was glad that he retained information like water, never really having to worry about it. "Notes are for nerds." He's scribbled complex equations on his arms everyonce in a while, but those fade, he didnt see the importance in it or qualify them as notes.

"I keep my notes on my computer at home? Its easier to share them with my tutors if I have a question about something." Ariel shrugged. "Do you not type up your notes?"

Marius emerged from his car, back aching from picking up last minute supplies in town, then driving all the way up. "Allleeexxxx" He grumbled, moving around the car and shaking his soulmate awake. He yawned, "We're here, we gotta-" He yawned again. It wasnt even that late in the day, he didnt know why he was so tired. "We gotta introduce ourselves to the campers."

	"Huh. Different schools I guess." Logan shrugged. He didnt have much experience outside of his own school, not really one to go to another school for anything. It'd probably come to bite him in the back come college, but he had another year before that. "Public school sounds weeeird." Ariel said. "No one talks in my school." Logan shrugged. "Well, unless you count the rowdy half, but those kids dont voluntarily talk half AP's" He said, taking a bite of his vegetables. Bland and tasteless. He may as well have made them himself.

Ariel listened as they discussed public schools. She didnt fully believe them of course, after all school was for learning, not meme-ing and sassing teachers and Graveyard parties. The red head doubted that these were school sanctioned activities, these graveyard parties.

Logan gave a soft hmm in response. He guessed he could see Jay's point. He was more a fan of tight v-necks and skinny jeans aesthetic on himself. He got vegetables and mashed potatoes. It took a little haggling with the person dealing food to convince them that he really didnt want any chicken.

Ariel grinned. "Yeah, I guess. I dunno, do people often get blood dumped on them at prom? or have big confessions in the courtyard? Or break into song in stairwells?" She joked.

I was homeschooled, so i've never had anything like that happen. Whenever my tutor comes they always have stories from when they taught school, and my Dad's tell me their old high school stories." "Ha, yeah I guess? If a rule is easily broken then it's probably meant to be broken." Logan said, entering the mess hall. He put on a broody air, he didnt really want to fraternise with most of the other campers this year. He'd tried it last year and it failed, he didnt want to bother this year.

Ariel got the same food and followed, happily sitting across from Arabella. "Other people will talk, 's always how it is with new soulmates, itsn't it." She said, resting her chin on her hand.

"Its better if you just act like they are saying nice things about you" Ariel loudly stage whispered to Arabella. "That way they cant tell when you hear them say vaguely homophobic statements." Ariel pointedly stared at a small group of kids who had been whispering, who quickly shut up as Ariel's normally bright and happy blue eyes turned pointed and sharp. "Or be loud and boisterous and dont deal with anything from anyone." Ariel loudly cracked her neck before freeing her arm from Arabella's in order to pass her a meal tray.

"Jay, baby, kiddo" Logan glanced at Jay to make sure he was still relaxed and laughing. "You're thinkin too small. Slightly oversized paper crowns for ourselves." He looked up and saw they were approaching the dining hall and straightened up, taking his arm off of Jay and shoving his hands into his pocket. "But, in all seriousness, if you have any questions about this place I can probably answer them. And I've my car if you want to sneak out into town for an evening or whatever."

Ariel gave Arabella a confident smile, nodding and trying to give the other girl- her soulmate She thought subconsciously- some positive energy. After all, the two were destined to be, what kind of a soulmate would Ariel be if she didnt try and give Ara some courage.
