So Deddenne wishes to leave the roleplay ;c This means that I have to figure out what to do with his character. I'll probably have his character leave the school due to being too weak or something along those lines, as I am not ready to kill anyone yet. Would anyone be willing to roleplay as his character one last time so that we can write him off? c; Once that is done, I'll open the roleplay once again to fill the empty space. As Hazel opened the door into her dorm, a female voice from behind asked, "And you are?" Truth be told, the voice made Hazel jump a little. Hazel spun around and saw that the girl was slightly taller than her. She had long blonde hair and wore green items of clothing in different places around her body. Meeting new people made Hazel nervous, and out of habit she reached around her back with her right hand and began to play with her tail. "Hi," she replied to the blonde girl, "I.. I'm Hazel. Nice to meet you." Hazel assumed this new girl was one of her teammates and decided that they should continue their conversation in the dorm room. "Let's go into the room and we can talk some more." Nyanza Wisteria The taller, blue clothed, guy stretched out his hand towards Nyanza and introduced himself as Arsen. Nyanza kept her hands concealed beneath her cloak. She wasn't touching Arsen's hand, she didn't know where they had been. "Hello." She said, "The name is Nyanza, Nyanza Wisteria. Born and raised in Vacuo. And you are fr-" The door opened, interrupting Nyanza mid-sentence. A very short red-haired Faunus entered the room and stared at them. Nyanza wasn't sure what species of Faunus the guy was, but she could see the two prominent horns peeking out from his head. The guy didn't speak. You yourself said you were confused about Dust, even after reading the Wiki Page. That should have been the time when you asked me about it or made a post on this thread and someone else could have explained. I would have happily explained it if I have known you were confused. I can't do much if people don't tell me when they don't know something :/ In hindsight, using the Headmasters speech would have been a great idea for introducing school activities, but it's a little late now xD I'll add a section in the main posts on this thread about school rules and areas etc. And yeah, I'll add a section to the rules about pre-planning fights ^^ I apologise so much to everyone for my awful RP'ing skills and pre-planning xc I'll try to do things better from now on. I understand that not be able to understand all the information I create. But that's why I have said numerous times throughout this thread that if anyone doesn't understand something, then they should ask me. And so far, no one has asked me anything :/ First, let me say that the Academy isn't floating, it's just on a huge cliff xD But I guess that's my fault for not describing it properly. I guess adding something like narrations wouldn't be a bad idea, and I could also add a few images, such as the airships or the courtyard. Though I have taken most of my information from the show, meaning that a lot of it is available to read about on the RWBY Wikia. About the continuity issues, I suppose the best thing to do would be what you already stated, either post in this thread about it or message the user privately. I'll message that user in a little bit anyway ^^ About the battle scenes, I am a little worried about how they will go down. That's why I've planned for the sparring matches to happen within the RP, so we can see how it all happens. I like your idea of the users messaging each other privately to discuss how the fight will go down. I would just need every user to agree to do this ^^ About short messages, I would prefer if messages were at least a few paragraphs, but I can understand in dialogue scenes that there isn't much that can be done if you're in the heat of conversation. So I do let it slide from time to time. I am watching everyone closely at the moment, and will be speaking to those who aren't writing enough :p And finally, for not knowing information. I will, of course, try to explain it as best I can, but you can always search up information on the RWBY Wikia if you are unsure, or just ask me ^^ And about the Team Leaders, to be honest, they don't do a huge lot. The main thing they do is command their team during Team Battles and such. I'll try to explain it more throughout the RP. [Read more] |

"Arsen." 'It's nice to put a name to the idiotic face.' Hazel and Arsen then continued towards the amphitheater. Hazel was indulged in the Headmaster's speech. She wanted to gather every ounce of information she could while at this Academy. She was more than likely behind a lot of students due to not receiving any training while growing up. Though, she was keen to show her abilities at the sparring matches tomorrow. Throughout the speech, Hazel could see that Arsen wasn't paying much attention. When the speech ended and she was making her way towards the blue screens, Arsen remained in the same spot, day dreaming. She decided to just leave him be. 'I'll probably see him later anyway.' After learning that she would be a part of Team AASH, and staying in dorm room 107, Hazel made a speedy dash for her room. Once she found the location of her dorm room, she paused at the door and took in a deep breath. 'Everything's going to be fine.' And stepped into the room. Nyanza Wisteria The dorm room had one large window in the middle, with four beds spaced out evenly around the room. There were multiple shelves, cabinets, and wardrobes. The room was spacious, yet cramped. Her entire team had to live in here. As Nyanza was the first one to arrive, she chose the bed in the left-hand corner, next to one of the wardrobes. She had a small bedside cabinet and lamp all at her disposal. Nyanza walked over to the large window and swung it open to allow air into the room. A large gust of wind flooded in and she could feel it shaking her cloak. Just then, the door opened. Sage Ludicro After escaping the falling debris unscathed, Sage decided to just leave the injured within the hands of the medics. Upon entering the amphitheater, Sage could see that he had missed the Headmasters speech. He noticed a few pupils looking at the blue screens located around the room, and decided to do the same. From the screen, he learned that he would be a part of Team AASH, and was in room 107. Sage didn't really know where the dorms were located, so he just followed a few pupils who looked like they were going in the right direction. [Read more] |

"You're welcome!" 'Welcome for what?' Hazel thought, 'almost killing me?' But instead of arguing with the guy, she chose to bite her tongue. She had just fallen from the skies and didn't need to draw any more attention towards herself by causing an argument. She watched the guy pull his hood up and scramble towards his fallen dagger. Afterwards, the guy glanced over in the direction of the fallen airship, or the remains of it anyway. Air ambulance crews were beginning to arrive and attend to those who needed it. From what Hazel could make out from this distance, it appears not everyone made. From an outsiders perspective, the crash looked like a devastating accident. Buy Hazel knew something else was at play. She had heard the ticking sound before the initial explosion, but she wasn't sure if anyone else had, so she chose to let her mind wander for the moment. She turned to the guy, "There's nothing that we can do now. I'm going to the amphitheater, like we were instructed to. Feel free to join me. Name's Hazel by the way." Nyanza Wisteria Nyanza didn't care much for the aftermath of the crash. People die and get hurt all the time, no need to make such a huge deal out of it. A good Huntsman should be prepared for anything, and would have survived. Those who died obviously weren't going to do well at this Academy anyway. As Nyanza entered the amphitheater, the first word that came to her mind was 'grand'. The hall was huge, along with the raised bleachers and circular stage towards the front. Along the walls, Nyanza could see empty blue screens. As she peered around at her fellow pupils, she could see that some were oblivious to the events that happened outside. [...] A little while later, the Headmaster of Beacon, Professor Ozpin, came onto the stage to welcome all of the new Huntsmen in training. The speech wasn't anything too special, the only thing Nyanza picked up on was that the sparring matches would begin first thing in the morning, and would take place here, in the amphitheater. "On a final note," Professor Ozpin said, "team listings will now be shown on the blue screens surrounding the hall. Please take a moment to observe them and discover your fellow teammates, as well as your team dorm room number." Nyanza made her way towards one of the blue screens and learned that she would be a part of Team RANJ. 'Ugh, I don't even like the colour orange.' The second thing that came to her mind was that she wasn't picked as the team leader. "Who even chose these teams?" She muttered to herself in an annoyed tone. Team RANJ was in dorm room 106; so she set off in the direction of her dorm. [Read more] |

Sage has managed to snap a lot of pictures on his journey towards the amphitheater. He'd captured some great weapons; Shotgun Gauntlets, A Double Dagger Spear, and then he captured some boring ones; A sword, a shield; 'How boring...' He thought. When Sage noticed what was happening in the skies above him, he did what everyone else was doing, and dived for cover. He managed to conceal himself behind a pillar of one of the large archways that surrounded the main courtyard. Hazel Honey Hazel was stumbling across the airship in hopes of finding somewhere to brace herself for impact, when some maniac, in a very stylish blue jacket, tackled her through the hole in the ship, and decided to drag her along in his suicide attempt. Hazel's back was to the ground as herself and guy in blue fell to their demise. The roaring winds were blowing her green pigtails into her face, covering her vision. From what she could see, the airship was about to make contact with the ground, and it wasn't going to be pretty. A stray piece of debris was heading directly towards them. Hazel was too worried about the debris colliding with her that she allowed for it to hit the guy. 'Oops...' The guy reached around with his free hand and removed the dagger from behind his back. She was unable to see what he was doing with it, but she could feel her descent beginning to slow. 'I see. At least he was smart enough to use some Air D-' The idiot obviously hadn't used the Air Dust effectively and the two slammed onto the ground. Her tail hurt from where she landed on it, but overall, she had escaped unscathed. She turned to look at the guy in the blue jacket. While still rubbing her tail, she spoke only one word, 'Idiot.' Sage Ludicro As Sage watched the aircraft draw closer, he noticed more and more bodies falling from the ship. Whether these people were jumping or falling, he was unsure. He looked over to the main pathway and saw the girl with the double dagger spear from earlier. She was in the heat of battle, destroying as much debris as possible before it came into contact with the Academy. 'I should be helping. not cowering behind a pillar.' As Sage went to run over to the girl and help, the main body of the aircraft smashed through the giant archway to his left and crashed into one of the fountains within the courtyard, leaving behind a large hole in the ground. Bodies and rubble and water and flaming pieces of debris flew everywhere. What was left was no longer an airship, but a huge scrap of twisted metal. Sage would be surprised if anyone could have survived an impact like that. [Read more] |

Hazel screamed in agony as the flames engulfed her body, and although her Aura prevented the fire from burning her skin, it didn't stop the pain. She had never experienced such intense heat before, and she could feel her Aura depleting under the pressure. The initial blast had caused many of the other students to be thrown against walls and floors and ceilings, just as she had. Some of the students remained unconscious, and Hazel didn't know whether they were dead or alive. The explosion had caused the interior of the airship to become a raging inferno; people were screaming, running for whatever covering they could find. The pressure from the blast had tore a hole in the side of the ship, thus causing the ship to lose control and fall into a tailspin, heading towards the Academy. Through the hole, the wing of the airship was exposed, and Hazel could see chunks of it breaking off and plummeting towards the school; the ship was beginning to tear apart. Nyanza Wisteria Nyanza was in the courtyard, making her way towards the amphitheater along with the many other students. She scoped out the competition, and knew instantly that she was one of the best pupils here; the competition was weak. She had heard the explosion, and instantly turned towards it's source; one of the airships. The airship had caught on fire, and was beginning to tear apart as it approached the courtyard. The pieces that broke off the ship moved at a higher speed towards her location. To protect herself from the debris, Nyanza would have to use her Semblance. She was pissed at this thought; she was planning on showing off her skills at the sparring matches tomorrow, but desperate times called for desperate measures. She vowed that if some idiot had set off some Fire Dust by accident, that she was going to kill them. She removed her left arm from underneath her cloak, and waved it in the air in an anti-clockwise movement. A silver, circular glyph appeared at a 45 degree angle above her, shielding herself and a few individuals who had covered beneath it to protect themselves from the incoming debris. 'Such weaklings...' she thought to herself with a smirk on her face, 'They can't even protect themselves'. Hazel Honey Those who had managed to grab a hold of a chair or bench, were able to remain partially stationary. But many, alike Hazel, were still being thrown around due to the violent movements of the airship. More and more of the ship was tearing itself apart, and Hazel believed she had saw people falling out of the gaping hole in the side of the ship. She wasn't sure whether everyone was going to survive their first day. The situation at the moment was dire, the airship was going to crash into the courtyard of the Academy, and there wouldn't be enough time to try and stop it. At this stage, everyone on the airship began to realise that it wasn't a case of stopping the ship from colliding with the ground, it was a case of bracing themselves for impact... [Read more] |

The airship landed onto the docks with a thump, Sage was leaning against one of the walls and teetered a little upon the impact. As the large door of the airship opened out onto the grounds of Beacon Academy, Sage noticed the dock they had landed on was a large, circular pad atop a huge cliff, overlooking the water below. As Sage looked to his right, the first thing that caught his eye was the Cross Continental Transmit System tower. He had heard about it before, but nothing compared to how it appeared in person. There were four towers, one in each kingdom. These towers were the only reason people were able to communicate long distance, and if one was to fall, the world would be in darkness - scary thought. On the path towards the school, a holographic AI projection was on a loop, telling arriving pupils to meet at the amphitheater for further instructions. On his way towards the main entrance, Sage observed the beautiful architecture of the school; great archways, stone paths, and the grand statue in the main courtyard. Glancing at some of the other students, Sage couldn't have seen more variety. Hair of everyone colour, glorious weapons; some concealed, some exposed. He could tell people didn't come to this school to mess around. The walk wasn't going to be short, so Sage took the opportunity and opened the box attached to his belt and removed the camera to begin snapping pictures of the other students' weapons. Hazel Honey Hazel was nervous. The airships weren't exactly the most spacious, and there was a lot of people around. These people had years of preparation before enrolling to Beacon, and Hazel had no time compared to them. Their weapons outshone hers immensely, Hazel's were quickly made from the first thing she could think of, while the others students would have studied weapon craftsmanship before forging their own. Hazel knew these years were going to be tough. Hazel began to play with her cat tail while waiting for the airship to land. She received a few strange looks from the other students, but she was proud of her tail, so she didn't care. Hazel glanced out a window and saw that the airship was approaching the docks; the academy appeared magnificent from this view. While dazing out the window, Hazel heard a ticking sound from the other side of the airship, which was only a few meters away. She had originally thought it was apart of someone's weapon, clock based perhaps, but then she heard the sound; the loudest 'bang' she had ever heard. She turned away, but the pressure of the shock wave from the explosion pinned her against the window, before engulfing her in flames, and sending the airship into a tailspin heading directly towards the courtyard... Currently we have 3 Teams; Please tell me if I have missed anyone xc Team YLLW (Team Yellow) » Yune Astrea » Lute Einsbern » Lavender Holyrain » William Neptune Team RANJ (Team Orange) » Rot Juodi » Arsen Magnus » Nyanza Wisteria » Josh Luteus Team AASH (Team Ash) » Avani Peridotite » Amethyst Winstone » Sage Ludicro » Hazel Honey Each team has a team leader. Our teams leaders are Yune Astrea, Rot Juodi and Avani Peridotte. Your job is to guide your team through battle and through their four years at the Academy. Team members will spend the next fours years in the Academy together. They will share a dorm and all teams will have classes together. Teammates that get along with each other, will become more experienced Huntsmen and enjoy the next four years of their lives. I am either going to begin the actual RP tonight, or tomorrow. I will post her once the thread has been created. If anyone has any questions or doesn't understand something, please ask. I have put a lot of time and effort into this RP, and I want it to go great; so I need everyone to understand each other and work together for it to be successful :) [Read more] |
